Going back to Stock Rooted - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

So my GS3 currently is running
-CM11 M3
-Baseband : I535VRBMF1
-Kernel : 3.4.77-cyanogenmod
My device has been acting all kinds of weird recently and I am thinking to just go back to the latests stock rom for the Verizon GS3 (Or a VERY stable JB/KK rom). I am aware that there has been many changes to the baseband and I dont want to brick my device. Can anyone help me out as I plan to have this device for a little longer until I can upgrade my device.
Thanks

The most stockish rom. Is old and slow. Just do wat u normally do wen flashing. Factory reset. Format fone(back up ur stuff) flash ml MODEM ONLY so ur bootloader will not be lock. Then flash TW old and slow rom

[Q] Return to Stock for Nexus S

Hello there.
I would like to ask for your good help restoring my Nexus S. I'm actually really exhausted looking for answers and tried downloading programs (e.g. One Click Stock) already. I wouldn't try to poke you guys if I hadn't reached dead end. Painstakingly exhausted for the last 3 days plus the slow connection we have here.
Using One Click Stock by Michael Peerman, I'm stuck without a signal since it says that I'm on Sprint. Everything works except that I'm always without signal.
My phone is under Globe Telecommunications Philippines. Build Number GRJ22. Currently it is in Gingerbread 2.3.4.
I won't bother rooting it again. I just want a simple droid without the extra benefits of a rooted phone.
Any help pointing me to the right direction would be really appreciated.
just flash a stock rom! and that would make a stock nexus s! and if you want even more you can lock the bootloader again!! and about the signal try flashing another radio!

It's only the ICS rom the one fot t-mobile. The GB one is for everybody
http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommana...s&name=Stock Images&deviceName=Google Nexus S
Hello There.
Thanks for the hot tip. I got it all back to stock.
I did was root the phone again,
installed ClockworkMod. > Mount USB to PC > on the clockworkmod folder I created new folder "backup". Then paste the Stock Rom.
Reboot to Recovery then install from zip.
Voila! It worked.
Very much thanks to everyone.
Stock is different baseband version
I had recently flashed an ICS rom and could not get my mobile data working after trying every single radio for my model I9020A.
So I used rom manger to download 2.3.3 stock GB as described in this thread. Now it is showing I have baseband version I9020XXXB1 and when I go to system updates it says my system is up to date. How do I update to newest version of GB and show the correct baseband version of my phone?

[Q] debranding

ive recently got the p920 and it was locked to orange so ive unlocked it but now i want to get rid of the orange bloatware. I have now rooted and installed CWM recovery and have attempted to install a stock rom now heres were my problem starts the rom installs fine but there baseband doesnt so i dont get a signal ect. so my question is have i done summit wrong when installing from zip in recovery?
Any help with this would be great thanxs.
You mean that your mobile running 2.2 and you install a costum rom (.zip) ??
This costum rom may be a gingerbread rom so you must upgrade your phone officially before flashing costem rom .

yes i can see my imei number
my base band is L6260_MODEM_SIC_01.1042.00
software version LG920-V20D-JUN-27-2012
android version 2.3.5
this is an orange based rom n would like to have it on stock
there is different stocks on different times (first was v10a)
this is not your base band This is INFINEON stuff.. go to market place and take GetRIL
Install. Run, See your base band version.
You can also isntall from there the recommended RIL for your configuration. Wait a minute (do not exit the program). if you do not have still signal - then RESTORE RIL back from the program (the program make a backup of you RIL when you install new one)
I've tried that getril and it said baseband matched but still no imei number once I've installed a custom/stock Rom. Looks like ill have to keep the orange Rom

IMO getril is pretty useless and most of the time you're better off when they don't match.
Why are you uncomfortable flashing a baseband? Its not as simple as a zip and can be a pain but once you get it, you have so many more options.

im used to htc phones n iphones n have never done anything with lg mobile hence the not wanting to do the baseband

[Q] Updating

Is there a way to update phone without losing root.. Galaxy s3 to (sprint). Running wicked sensations v2.1. Currently got lj7. :good: Thank you and have a great day.
Not too sure but I think the safest way is to go back to stock rom & unroot, then update youre phone & then root again, the rooting process only takes about 5-10mins anyway. Cant really see why you would wanna go back to stock rom after being rooted & running a modded rom? But hey hope this helps & if so press the thanks button

Stock
I dont want to go back to stock.. Just wanted the update.. There is no way i would ever go back to stock. I love the rom i am currently running.. Thank you for your insight though.. I know freeza has a couple of updates up.. Just don't know which one to do. The odexed or the deoxed one..
If youre just asking about updating youre custom rom.... just make a backup via youre recovery mode, wipe cache, wipe dev cache, wipe/factory reset, then flash the rom, test it & if you are not happy, reapply youre backup?

Flashing
No my custom rom rom is up to date with the newest release. Was referring to the kernel or whatever it is that is being pushed by samsung. When it switched to jellybean 4.1 it was lj7. Which is what i have.. Since then it has updated to 4.1.2 with mb6 and just recently mb1. The newest contains the multi view addon.. This is through google as well.. Anyway it is the samsung firmware, not my custom rom firmware.

noob w/rooted & unlocked d800 stuck on 4.2.2 (JDQ39b) need help flashing custom rom!
hey guys so ive had my lg g2 since Feb 2015, bought it ATT and unlocked and using it on cricket. so i rooted it soon after getting and tried flashing a rom and i cant remember what i did wrong but in between flashing a kernel and rom i briked my phone. i had used goomanager to flash twrp 2,6,3 i believe and then that to flash a rom. needless to say i wanted to go from 4.2 to the newest possible rom with no bloatware and very slim with good battery, undervoltage and overckock etc. after weeks having the lg dead and of using a different phone i spent some time trying to figure it out, and used the LG tool to flash the lg back.
now after doing this my phone was back to 4.2 and worked fine except i havent had data or mms working and the battery life is really bad. phone has been like this for a very long time. been so busy that havent had the luxury to experiment snd risk bricking again as i need to at least make calls and text. but i am SICK od paying for data and not having it. please dont tell me to search threads uve spent months before doing that and did all kinds of flashing to no avail. i need help in step by step to get twrp back working, to get the right kernel, to get the newest android version that is STABLE/long lasting battery and perhaps most importantly to have data back.
thanks in advance guys
current version: 4.2.2
