Problem with gps

Hi guys I have serious problem with gps it doesn't find and lock with satellites initially I thought that the problem were in the Rom but maybe is on the device so what I can do? I have tried with all apps for gps but nothing help me

Download faster fix from market and change server to india. Go out in open sky and check if you get lock. If you get nothing in 15 mins either rom is corrupted or an hardware issue

Are you using stock firmware or a modified ROM? Most of the ROM's especially GB have problems with GPS.

What is you fw

i have tried all stock rom but nothing there aren't satellities when i search it

Give us the specifications..Like are you on a custom ROm or a modified FW?
Search the forum in the i9003 category, there are some fixes. I am from India and I tried these thing sout!

Also, try GPS AIDS app from the market! Many users believe it to be working! DO this thing before you apply the fix in the links It should work!

Okay! So, the custom ROm always have a problem of the GPS lock. IDK whether the fixes work on a custom ROM. You can try it on the stcok FW. BTW, if it by chance works, do tell me! All the Best!

a froyo rom would be better i.e. xxkb3

so i try with only stock gps then if it doesn't work i will try with the app but if these 2 metods fail what i can do?
EDIT:not wotk ***** i have tried all you said to me but nothing the causes could be two or is it a hardware problem or there are no satellites in my area help me please!!!
EDIT2:come on man help me!! the x10 of my brother fix in 5 seconds with 5 satellities while mine not help me!

After you did the tweaks, you are not getting the lock? Also, try out the GPS using wifi for nearly 5 times. You will get the lock. For the first lock it will make you wait for nearly 20 minutes. The time will decrease gradually

No No ! See, connect to a Wi-Fi router and then try to lock the GPS. Just keep disconnecting, re connecting and locking for 5 times. It should get your GGPS to a good shape!

EDIT: now it work!!!! with poseidon rom but i can't lock i havefound7 satellities but i loss theconnection frequently i can fix it?

Try over wifi...stock tom itself. All custom rom have gps lock problem

Wifi not working at all.

Hi all!
I have a problem with my LG Optimus 3D. I cannot enable the Wifi, when I tap on the wifi enable icon or try to enable in the Settings it just flashes. A note, I forgot to disable the wifi when I went to sleep, and my phone was on wifi all night, but I think this cannot be the source of the problem.
Here's what I tried so far:
- Hard reset - Wifi not working
- Factory reset - Wifi not working
- Changed the ROM - Wifi still not working (I used this ROM)
Any suggestions ?

If the wifi is not working in any situation consider to put it back to stock, clean it up and give it to assistance to repair it.Might be a faulty WiFi module. Are you sure that you don't use a fixed IP on the phone or your router is faulty?Just asking...

Thanks for your answer! My router is working fine, I cannot even turn on the Wifi on the phone. :/
Any more suggestions ?

Well the return to stock and assistance is still valid.Try doing an emergency recovery using update tool from LG.Maybe the new version software- the 2.3.7 version with v21e baseband version, would do something good. Cheers mate and good luck.

This is certainly not the source of the problem. I keep my WiFi always on (from advanced settings, WiFi Sleep policy: Never) which doesn't consume much batter when the phone is on standby.

did the problem occur when you flash the rom ?
in which baseband you had
for example if it was 2.2 baseband and the rom was for 2.3 it can not be flashed with clockworkmod
you should flash the kdz files for 2.3 baseband and then flash a rom with clcokworkmod
i also had problems with wifi and i did flash a 2,2 baseband ( kdz files ) and the problem was fixed

Can someone help me? I got a wifi issue also.... sometime i can't turn it on... and it drains my battery so quickly... and whenever it happens, i have to restart it in order to use the wifi... i think i have a stock rom... i don't flash another rom again since the last rom from thaiz... and there're not a big improve at all...

I had WiFi issues (and signal issues) from wrong base bands in GB. Some ROMs and kernels aren't compatible with certain base bands and you can either lose WiFi, signal or both

You're going to have to give more detail than that. What ROM are you using, what kernel, etc.

Having trouble with voice search and skype , viber other internet calling

hello people .. i am having a problem with my device .. sometimes voice .. google voice is not working its suddenly stop not any other calling activities like viber calling ( mic dosn't work ) as same as on skype and services .. mic suddenly stopped . but during normal calls ( network operator ) its working perfectly .. when i switch off and switch on my device again the problem has been solved automatically .. please let me know what should i do ?

Uhm, try fixing permissions from the recovery mode. And if youre using a custom rom, what is it?

actually i am using stock ics 4.0.4 rom and i dont want to root my second mobile phone .. so is there any other way to solve this problem.. when it happens a single reboot solve this problem but i dont understand whats the problem.

Oh, i see. Uhm, try updating your rom to the official JB rom. I know that there is a rom that is not rooted when you flash it to your device. They are in the Developments section. Try that and see the results.

Solution Camera FC
Hey guys,
Had the same error. I also posted a topic for this but I figured it out on my own. The problem is the faux kernel, not the stock rom. When applying the settings in the app for kernel settings "Faux123 Kernel Enhancement Project", DON'T select Intellithermal, like it's posted with the recommended settings but select Thermald (stock). Reboot and your problem should be solved. Please share this post so people won't face this problem anymore. No thanks!

I didn't unlock bootloader also. I'm with pure stock rom on untouched device.

Same problemhere with The xt1032 brazilian GSM version!
This error shown up after i got the last updates from The gplay for the stock apps

I reported this on motorola forums also. You can do it too Camera locking up

Often this happens when another app is using the camera for something and fails to fully release it. If you have a flashlight app installed, that's the first one I'd look at.
Other problem apps are MessageMe and an older version of Google Goggles.
Second, try to Power cycle the device. This will clear out any resource locks on the camera hardware or reset the state of the camera.
Third, clear camera app by going to SETTINGS > APPS > tab to ALL > find CAMERA > FORCE CLOSE.
Please let us know if your problem persists.

Just means to shutdown your phone by holding power button

I am also having the same problem.
On resetting the phone it works for some time and again the same problem after sometime. when ever i closes the camera i hear some noise also
