So far so good. Finally a KK ROM that implements Privacy Guard correctly i.e. clicking the notification opens App Ops instead of App Info.
Keep up the good work!
This is an AWESOME rom! Thanks to all involved with it!

Yeah, it changes modes.
Pressing it for me just switches it on or off, long pressing does nothing???
Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk
Long pressing it works for me, it switches between modes.
Although the process systemui stopped for me today. I was going to take down the notificacion bar to change the brightness and it stopped. I had to pull the battery and restart the phone for it to work again.
I have also had 2 times when I have unlocked the phone and I cant press anything on the screen. The only thing that has been working are the power meny so rebooting the phone solves it.
If it happens again I could try to pull a log after reboot if you think it will help?
Otherwise a very nice rom, I like it a lot!

You know that you can always restart your phone pressing volume up + power buttons (or enter recovery adding home button to combo)? There is no need to pull out the battery, unless you really ****ed up sth with recovery/bootloader

I know it, but I didn't think of it
Systemui crashed on me this morning again when I wanted to open the notification drawer. After that it crashed I took out logcat and dmesg logs and when I closed the terminal after the dmeag report it crashed again. So I made a second logcat, called logcat2.
They are in this folder:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/6p4hmo2aw5oa470/0nSUBbNsmR
After that systemui has crashed 2-3 times more, mostly when I open the notification drawer. And about 16 min ago the phone rebooted by itself.

The system.ui crashes are related to CM's new Theme Engine. I happens in CM also. It will be fixed.
Try to use stock theme.

New built pushed to OTA !
Full wipe might be required !
Framework and Setting where rebased (code clean up)
Switched to Inspire Launcher (testing)
Kernel is now compiled with Uber-SaberMod 4.7.4 (more buttery smooth experience)
Is it just me, or does anything with "saber" in it, just sound more serious hehe
Sent from my GT-I9305 using XDA Premium HD app
How does stock kernel compare with Boeffla? I suppose the customisations and sound options would be less, but performance wise?

Team HellKat Proudly Presents
HELLKAT for the Galaxy Note II (N7100, t0lte)!!!!
HellKat is CM11 based with a completely redone beautiful Holo Red theme. You'll probably notice a difference between HellKat and CM nightlies (or the virgin AOSP builds) due to the LINARO 4.8 toolchain we use to compile the ROMs. HellKat was first created by DerTeufel during Jellybean and was called Hellybean. We now support several devices and with a new build server we will be able to bring this beautiful ROM to even more devices. If you have another device supported by CM you more than likely can build HellKat for your other device. We have a nice build script so that the hardest part of building HellKat is setting up Ubuntu and an Android developing environement. Checkout our sources at https://github.com/Hellybean/android
Here is a quick list of our differences from CM:
- RED THEMED!!!
- AWESOME RED DEVIL DROID WALLPAPER!!!
- Init.d Tweaker built into the settings menu
- LCD Density Changer built into settings
- Option to add date to status bar (Thanks Slim)
- DARK System UI (Thanks Slim)
- Build.prop injector
- Transparency options for notification drawer
- Force High End Gfx (Thanks SGT7)
- Transparency option and Blur for Lockscreen (Thanks PA)
- List View Animations
- Large recents, recents color, dual pane prefs options (Thanks SGT7)
- Options to disable bootanimation and wallpaper
- Lockscreen ring battery
- Dual Panel settings
- CM Screen Security settings
- Ability to change tile colors and transparency
- NavBar Dimensions
- Movable Sizable Halo windows
- swipe anywhere on notification panel to switch views
- BatteryBar
- Quick Tiles Flip animation
- Quick Tiles allow 3,4,5 tiles in pulldown
- Ability to change notification drawer background
- notification transparency
- Launch floating notifications from notification panel (long click)
- Ram Bar in Recents
- App Side Bar Chamelion OS
- App Side Bar Floating Window
- Recent Apps Floating Window
- TeloRadio from telo46
- Flip to Mute/Reject Call
- Open source google dialer
- Movable Clear All Button in Recents
- ScreenRecorder
- HALO)))
- More to come!!!
Things to expect in the future (because we had them in Hellybean)
- PIE (Color option included)
- Active Display
- and we'll probably grab more things as we go!

Just like the CM team.
"Your warranty is now void. We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at any of us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. Collectively, and at the same time."

I have been uploading builds just no time to update op or publicize, Don't think many of you have noticed. I had a friend donate a real build server to me and I have been getting it setup for us to use us the HellDev team. DerTeufel uses XDA as his build server and its been down like 8 weeks. I should have time in the next few days to update OP's but look for new builds, the alpha folder there in for t0lte is hidden, I will move them to root of hellkat dir. But I need some sleep. Expect a new cm11 in the am though. It is syncing now.
I have art compatible gapps why aren't I able to enable art?

My guess would be the gapps your using. I have been using the same ones for over a month no issues. I had gapps linked in OP but then get to many questions about newer Gapps and other packages. So I stopped recommending them but look here. I use gapps-kk-20131111-artcompatible.zip without issues.

I had the "messaging has stopped" error with the latest gapps in the omni thread & with the tiny gapps.
So now I will try your suggestion and report back.
It's typical that I tested everything else but the messaging. Only discovered it by mistake when trying to verify WhatsApp. 2 hours getting it just how I like it only to get kicked in the balls by that! Lol. Reverted backup rom to come on here to look for any solution.

Ok so I tried the gapps suggested and I still get "messaging has stopped" error.
I tried with TWRP & Philz (latest) each time I use zoot's wipe scripts and do a mega wipe.
Install rom (hellkat 15/12/13)
Install gapps
Reboot
Once I get passed all the signing in I tried messaging app and error.
I know the gapps work with both Omni based and Cyanogen based roms, so has something gone wrong when you packed it? Scripts or whatnot... I'm no Dev so forgive me if I am completely wrong.
I just want to help out, as everything else about hellkat is awesome.... The red theme just completes it's awesomeness.

Oh sorry, ya left side mode has force close issue.
Between, does this rom have low voice call issue? Coz i tried carbon and pac, both have low voice call issue and neither the volume slider increases or decreases the volume when on call.

Dirty Unicorns (DU) is a custom ROM originally based off AOKP, but now based from OmniROM. DU brings you a great mix of stability and customization. The idea to start a ROM like this was purely out of boredom, but later turned into a form of an addiction, a good one. We began to have fun while still doing things the right way. By doing so, we received high praise from not only our users but by fellow developers of other ROMs that also enjoy seeing things done the right way. This ROM will always be free of charge without any strings attached or any of it's developers luring you into donating, or any form of "pay to flash".
"Give credit and thanks where it's due!" That's something that has fueled the way we do things! With that said, we would like to go ahead and credit those individuals and groups that have made this ROM possible with their original code and contributions to the Android community.....
| OmniROM | AOKP | ChaOS | Paranoidandroid | SlimROMs | Preludedrew | Team Black Out | Official Testers / Translators |
Believe it or not, we are human and we do forget things. If we have left someone out of the credit/thanks list, just PM us and we'll gladly add on to the list.

Running this ROM on phantom kernel. And I have to say this is the fastest ROM by far I have tested on my xperia L. Previously I used slimkat but it comes nowhere near this ROM in terms of speed and features. the animations appear even slicker.(I would recommend who flash this ROM to change their DPI to 182). Everything works fine apart from when you lock the phone and it won't turn back on after a couple of presses of the power button.( but I have experienced this in all kitkat ROMs). I have no overheating as mentioned above. Looks like I have got a new favorite ROM. Keep up the good work.
Edit: the lock screen seems to be working fine now
