As name suggest this is simple tool which can flash Recovery/Modem/Kernel from device without having CWM. This is very handy when you want to extract raw files from ROM and you don't have script for flashing OR don't have CWM installed.
Features : (requires Rooted device)
-Flash Kernel
-Flash Modem
-Flash Recovery
You just needs to keep raw files on root directory of IntSD card to flash file. e.g. If you want to flash CWM recovery, no needs to have Odin. simply extract recovery.img file of your desired recovery and copy to root directory of IntSD card and long press on Flash recovery Thats It.

Now it can flash modem with both files (modem.bin and NON-HLOS.bin)
To check this tool will work on your device or not just long press on device compatibility report. This will generate two files
DrKetan_FlashinTool_report1_YourDevice Model.txt and DrKetan_FlashinTool_report2_YourDevice Model.txt
Attach both files here for review.

Just flashed twrp 2.7.0.3.img successfully according to tool ("Recovery flashed successfully reboot device")
When i rebooted i was still on Philz touch by halaszk.
Any help or pointing at errors would be appreciated

2.6.3.7 ended with same results
Method I use is extracting img from 2.6.3.7.img.tar with rom toolbox pro and it gets placed in a "extracted" folder by default...should I move it from there?

You needs recovery.img on int SD card root directory, not inside any folder.
Also check supersu app you haven't missed supersu permission.

Here is I want to share my work of latest Jelly Bean 4.3 with build number JSS15J for Nexus 7 (WIFI+3G).
I have do this from the source on google.
This ROM can be flash via CWM (TWRP not tested). Make sure you have installing CWM first (I have 6.0.3.3 on my tablet).

I have get that from the latest source on google (android-4.3_r2.1) .
Here is the version :
JWR66L is 4.3_r0.9
JWR66N is 4.3_r0.9.1
JWR66V is 4.3_r1 - that's the one that goes on existing devices.
JSR78D is 4.3_r2
JSS15J is 4.3_r2.1 - that's the latest one, on the new Nexus 7

Hello, This latest stock ROM (JSS15J) from Google who I have build itself from their source code. As you know the first release stock ROM for JB 4.3 is (JWR66V) . So it's up to you to use this or not .
im confused the description says no root, but in order to get sms working we have to install a app and change permission sounds like you are still rooted? or did you just root after the update? im confused.....

Although I had not flashed the new radio and boot loader, it's running fine for me now.

Strange! I flashed the Bootloader v4.23 and Radio 1231_0.18.0_0409 and can confirmed that it was correct by checking in the Bootloader screen. On the other hand, when I checked on device in Settings, About tablet, it showed as old radio, [FONT="][/FONT]1231_0.17.0_1205.
I think the wrong radio information from About tablet maybe due to the build.prob not updated.

I didn't get to test root. I know chainfire has root for Nexus 5. So maybe will work with mine? I will test when I get home. Be home in about an hour or so..

Root may not work right away (it didn't for me from another release thread), but it can be re-rooted with just a flash in a custom recovery

I'm running this extra light 4.2.2 stock rom set as secondary rom with CM11 4.4.2 as primary one. All this using 2.1.6 dualboot blackhawk's next kernel. No problems at all.

I'm getting this error trying to just flash this ROM using an up to date Philz Recovery:

I have this placed on the internal sdcard. Mokee 4.4.2 flashes just fine as did @Android-Andi CM 10.2.

@brolee93 so I've tried redownloading the ROM, same error when I try to flash, tried both links you provided. I noticed the permissions on the zip are rw-rw--- is that an issue? I'm running philz recovery 6.0.47 so it's up to date. Any suggestions? Really want this stock rom for dual booting...

I get the error when I try to install the ROM as my only ROM. So it's not the dual boot process screwing it up...

I got it to work! If you're using the 6.0.4.7 recovery it won't flash you need to download an older recovery. Search development thread for 6.0.3.3 (I think it's shakatu) do all the wipes. It will ask to disable stock recovery, obviously don't. Boot it up!

@brolee93 so far so good. Excellent stock ROM. I'll be dual booting soon and then super nice! One question, is there a setting that will allow to boot into recovery? Right now it just wants to reboot without the option.

I am not responsible for the things that will happen to your device by flashing this rom!!! Make sure that you have 4.1.2 bootloader!!!So flash 4.1.2 firmware before flashing this rom!! Well hell, finally a MIUI port and for once the non-P gets it first lol! Good job though and enjoy non-P users.
Well yeah, nice to see a new rom for the non p version for a change, but a port for the P version would be great too! If no one has time to do it, I can do it, but please guide me through the differences between the P and non P version.

Man, I am SO jealous lol, MIUI is my favorite ROM by far but alas I got the P. Regardless, tyvm for sharing these. Makes me hope we'll get there eventually. Would be awesome.

Instructions :-
1 - Download the GenNxt PreRooted Stock.zip and ODIN in ur PC
2 - Extract GenNxt PreRooted Stock.zip and Odin in your PC
3 - Download Samsung Usb drivers from Here
4- Connect your phone in Download mode to PC ( Volume down + Menu Button + Power button press simultaniously )
5 - Open ODIN and place the extracted Rom file in AP section of ODIN and press START
6 - Flashing starts and wait until ODIN shows pass

This method is only for SM-J100H .And flashing back the stock will retain ur warranty

Well, I tried to enter in phone's recovery (the recovery is stock - while phone is closed, press volume UP + Power + Home Button, until you see the Samsung logo; then you release the buttons) and I saw that you actually can flash a zip file (there is an option that allows you to choose your folder where is located your zip file). That's why I suggested you to make a flashable zip, plus as I said, not everyone has a computer and that could be a gold mine for them (including me). Hope you have figured out what I wanted to say and I wish you good luck in your work.

Custom rom can only be flash through cwm recovery not stock recovery as stock recovery only flashes zip files signed by samsung signatures .
