I've found a few bugs. :fingers-crossed:
1. Calender is totally chinese. :crying:
2. The screen goes black occassionally (need to pull out battery and reboot). :crying:
- This mostly happens when we pull the brightness slider in notification panel to 0.
- sometimes while watching a video and when the video ends
3. Some times after reboot, the app icons arrange automatically to some order filling up all space.(even if I uncheck shake to rearrange icons option from launcher).
4. Default music player is having too much lag (I don know whether only I experience this)
Other than that, the rom is stable and awesome :highfive:

the pic is for general miui and definitely i am not Chinese so definitely it is in english

Its based on build 5 which is ridiculousy stable only thing not working is video camera definately a daily driver

Procedure to Flash & Recommendation
Procedure To Install:
Download and push the latest aosp ROM to SD Card
Reboot to Recovery Mode
Select Wipe data and cache
Select install zip from sd card
Select choose zip from sd card
Select the new aosp ROM
Select Yes - Install update
Wait until the Installation is finish
Select Wipe data and cache
Select Wipe cache partition
Select reboot system now
Recommendation:
*Go to settings>Accessibility>(tick) Large Text
*Developer tools>Set Animation 0
*No need to flash gapps as they are already included

I don't know what is with File Manager, System in Settings, where on or of Bluetooth, GPS, Orientation, Wi-Fi etc.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth don't work for me.

@The-Superman downloading will test and provide a review soon.
A few questions.
1.if you plan to keep aosp why not build it odexed.
2.what are known bugs so far.
3.future it will remain pure aosp or will you be including tweaks that are non invasive and actually help improve user experience:
eg.performance menu fork cm,powerwidgets.
4.is there overclocking and governors for the kernel.

First you must have already an CWM Base recovery, you can check Here how to install and use bgcngm's CWM Based Recovery.
Then start by making an FULL nandroid of your phone.
In Recovery:
* Wipe Data
* Wipe Cache
* Wipe Dalvik Cache

Useful Tips:
Reducing UI Lag:
Settings > Developer Options > Select "Animation OFF" on this settings :
- Window animation scale
- Transition animation scale
- Animator duration scale

Calibrating the GPS:
1: Open the app "FasterGPS".
2: Install and give it root permissions
3: Choose your Continent
4: Choose your region (at this point, your gps is properly configured with your country *.ntp values)
5:EPO Download : Enginner Mode > Location > Location Based Service> EPO > Select "Enable EPO" and "Auto Download" and Press "EPO (IDLE)".
Now your GPS will lock in just seconds
6: Start the app "GPS Status", in the first Satts Lock, you need to wait a little bit (it can take up to 15m, be sure you are in an Open Area).
When you get an good lock, on Satts, your DONE.

I will update this version, during the next week or so.

I wonder if this will work to my Kata i1/Zyrex ZA-985. I have used a ported ROM from V970 and it works well. I got the ROM here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2309563. Will try this ROM if it's compatible.

I am in desperate hunt for a 4.2.2 based ROM for Lava Iris 501, which is a MTK 6577 chipset, 512MB RAM based phone.
I was wondering which ROM should I pick to try customizing it for my Lava iris 501.

Recently bought one cheap android (Spice Mi-354 Smartflo Space) and its running full functional JB 4.2.2 with 256MB RAM,
I am sure if it can run my current phone with 512MB RAM should be able to Handle the 4.2.2 port too.
I've stock 4.1 ROM but currently running 4.1.2 Lewa OS

Downloaded this ROM, and I am getting only a WHITE screen while boot up ???
on my MTK6577 device
Edit: after initial madness, I finally able to see Home Screen, Phone working
but WI-FI refuses to Start. stuck at "Turning WLAN on........."
I wanted to use another ROM, but tried 2 of them, everything worked fine in them too
but mms.apk never worked in those ROM.
So finally we have something for MTK6577 to run 4.2.2

The Rom got KANGed, so probably wont have more updates
Since the Chineses "are so good", maybe they can fix the rest of the bugs...

In this ROM, this sense Camera is modified for AOSP. I doubt that Sense 4.1 Camera will work on AOSP

Above Downloading link is working fine, try a proxy or for Dev-Host Upload, wait for tomorrow

The ROM doesn't boot. Phone stays on splash screen after flashing. Did a full wipe though.

Did u check md5 of file u have downloaded? It's boot after 2-3 minutes...

Downloaded and running all afternoon.
So far no problems. Lost wifi for a few minutes, may not have been the ROM's fault though. I will use heavily tonight and report back how it goes.

Due to DDOS attacks, It showed you Virus warning because it was Server end problem...not the rom itself. It has been recovered now, And you should be able to download it.
Check the attachment.

Well, AwesomeBEATS UI could look like DSP Manager, Infect Viper4Android, DSP Manager, AwesomeBEATS all has a same interface. It differs with sound quality.
Try with a nice pair of headphones then you could easily differentiate it.

Before reading the whole logcat, was the rom booting? I think not, otherwise there wouldnt be a logcat.

Yes, The Rom did boot, and struck at boot amination !
was same result without the add-on kernel, booted, and struck at boot amination !

As I never used a Xolo device i have no idea. With Samsung it is so easy to get back to stock.
Can you still boot in Recovery mode or in Download (or sth like this) mode?
BTW: It would make it much more easier if there is a device with similar hardware (or similar device from XOLO) with RR already supported. If you know one, please tell it to me.

i showed it in service center they were charging me Rs3500... i said dont do anythin.. i will have to buy new one.. Honor 4X or Lumia 640

No need for fastboot !
just remove the battery and press vol+ button while plugging in the usb cable. Phone will be detected as vcom device and will be show on HQ_ASP_DownLoad program. hence just flash it and the device will be debricked.
I have debricked my Q1100 before, anyways thanks
