[GAME][2.2+] ZombieBird - The Flapping Dead - Android Apps and Games

Flappy Bird is dead, or rather undead, and now continues the never ending flapping for survival (well "survival" in the perspective of an undead).
Touch the screen to flap and avoid pipes and ground.
Enjoy the game and please don't break your phone. Remember, it's _just_ a game.
Get it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.apedroid.ZombieBird
For those of you with devices that aren't Google Play enabled you can get it from AndroidPit.
Other platforms: iOS HTML5 (Use Chrome, Firefox or Opera)
Features
Top 10 highscore connected to Facebook. Compete with your facebook friends.
Unlock more birds by reaching high scores (currently 4 more birds can be unlocked if you are skilled enough)
Blood effects
Share score and highscore with other apps, such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram and more.
This game was created while learning libGDX using the excellent tutorial on http://www.kilobolt.com (I highly recommend this tutorial for anyone who wants to get started with libGDX).
Disclaimer: Yes, I'm well aware of that another Flappy Bird clone is a pretty lame thing to do but I wanted to learn libGDX and make a crossplatform game with Facebook leaderboards. It's actually not that bad and offers some improvements from the original. However I promise to try to make my next project a bit more original.

Nice additions!

great game
You've made a great game. I was surprised when I realized it was actually an indie game, cause it looks very professional. Yet I think you could have made sound effects better. Anyways, if you plan on making more games, especially flash games, plz contact me I would love to publish it and make a review on my monkey games portal monkeygamesworld.com. Also I might be interested in sponsorship. good job!

Thanks for the review and I'm glad you enjoy the game! Nice to see a website dedicated to monkey games
The sound effects was made from whatever I could record/mix myself combined with free stuff from the internet, unfortunately I never had any budget to spend on it. The game was made so it also should be playable on some low end phones when it was first released in 2013. Playing too many low compressed sound effects with music at the same time was a performance issue on some devices back then, perhaps not such a big issue any more.
Cheers!
Great game !!! Very good idea and very playable.
But I notice an issue when I press on back button on device, there show up popup "Do you really want to quit?" , next press home button , and next back to the game , there are two visible popups and one of them I can't hide. Sorry for my english

[Game][2.3+][Free] Apollo Fights Back!

Good Day folks here at XDA Devs!
Today Im here to kind of show our first released game: Apollo Fights Back!
We are a little 2-man group named Black Wing Games, which developed said game in our free time. The game is a Runner-style Arcade piece where the goal is to set a highscore and build a Spaceship by buying the parts one by one.
As extras, we added Shooting Zombies and a few other Space-like events (say, Meteor Showers and Aliens for instance), which actually make the game feel more lively Also, the addition of a specific goal makes it stand out from the many other simple runners .
I'll not stall you with my talk, so let's run a video wich will explain most of the basics:
Hope you enjoy it and if possible, review it Thanks!

Bump ^^
Reminds me of Nintendo games back in 90s+flappy bird physics . Not bad for the first time I believe, taking into account the fact that the game was developed during your free time.
The most important part here is that the game has an idea in the ground. Good start!

[New free game] "Running Ball"

New and unique gameplay – that is what all want!
To date, the mobile gaming industry to a huge regret seen a tendency to copy. Every week we are bombarded with clones of well-known games. So every game with a new and unusual gameplay seems like a bright flash.
Thus, our company found its goal - to create interesting games with, most important, game mechanics not seen before. So, we want to present our first creature - an arcade "Running Ball".
My name is Alexander and I am a founder of "Loxela". Long time I was closely watching for the game development industry, especially for mobile game development. I download and try every new mobile indie game in search of new experiences and inspiration. Unfortunately only 2-3 games a month turnes out to be really exciting. Having no opportunity to play interesting games, I decided to create them by myself. Relying on my own strength, I began to develop "Running Ball". To be honest - the most difficult moment in the game is just the same to create a unique gameplay. Also an important feature of a mobile game is the mobility itself. Therefore, a game should not punish a player for his desire to drink tea or if it's time to leave the train in the subway. Now I understand why the mobile gaming market is flooded with clones, but it only means that the objectives set by me are much higher than most developer’s goals. My dream - creating games that everyone will want to play just because they had never seen this before. And I hope that the "Running Ball" will be the first step on this path.
The essence of the game is simple: there is a ball and in its way are the walls with gates. When a player doesn’t touch the screen, the ball flies safely from one edge to the other, but when he presses, the ball rushes forward and o-ho-ho if its path would be the wall. You have to be very careful, because the slightest mistake – and you will start all over again. The game includes different skins for the ball, and not just skins - these are favorite online balls from the famous comic “CountryBalls”. If you want to know more about the game - you can download it ))

[Game Recommendation] Zombie Defense by Home Net Games

Zombie, once a dreadful creature on silver screen, now comes to multiple platforms including iOS & Android. Seriously, what might come to your mind, speaking of zombies? The infamous Resident Evil series, survival horror, sometimes with comedy element, or like House of the Dead, Plants vs. Zombies…?
Anyway, what I’ve just found is a zombie themed game that kept me busy for a couple of weeks
. You may never heard of it before – ‘Zombie Defense’ developed by Home Net Games, but, read the comments, you’ll know why it’s awesome:
Features:
- 48 campaign missions with tons of replayability (You start playing and you’ll know why)
- Countless weapons, troops and defense upgrades
- Refined graphics
- Strategic spots for you to arrange your units’ layout (Even allows you to adjust the spot in the late game)
- One-key save feature for game progress
- Important: EASY TO GET RICH!
To be honest, there are IAPs, thoughit's a F2P. BUT!! Literally you don’t need any actual purchase, the dev team is generous enough to make it an easy game. I played it a lot, my phone doesn’t work and is in repair, so I had to play it on PC, here’s the gameplay screenshot:
The forum is preventing me from posting google play link, so you guys'll have to google it yourselves...

Hello. I decided to make a casual arcade game. Two weeks was a training practice and I was not enough for something global, and I decided to make a small casual game during this time. It was planned to draw the graphics in Corel DRAW, but the result did not suit me a little, so I decided to make a raster one.
But what about the gameplay? And so, we ... play as a cell, a bacterium, a living organism and try to eat something big ... but the peculiarity is that we are constantly spinning and we need to calculate the path and not miss. Collect points and enjoy music.

Gameplay video
It is easy to play, even sometimes I play myself. I plan to somehow diversify with various bonuses and so on. But passing the time is really perfect.
The game is already available on Google Play,
so that everyone can get acquainted with the game. I'm waiting for feedback.
