[APP 2.2+] WritingPrompts - New App

I figured XDA would be a good place to promote my new app. I just finished up work on a Writing Prompts app. I put quite a bit of polish into it. Nothing crazy design-wise, but it's very simple and easy to use. This is my first major app release to Android. I have released a few apps in the past before I focused on Android development full-time, so I was looking to promote this app a little bit and get some feedback on it.
Just want some honest feedback and suggestions as a newly full-time independent Android developer.
As of release date there are no prompt packs available to purchase, but I will be adding them in the next day or two and adding more over time if the app gets some downloads. I will also be adding several hundred more prompts to all the other categories over the next week, but I want to get it out there now to see what kind of things I need to work on and how well the app actually does.
If you like it, tell people about it. I'm hoping to generate some buzz. Creating apps in my source of income at the moment, and this is my first attempt, so any thoughtful feedback or help is greatly appreciated.

Yeah downloaded it. Haven't had the chance to do extensive testing though. But the first impression is that it's pretty cool. Will give feedback as soon as I get around to it.

Finally I was able to take some time to take a look at your app.
I like the overall design. It is simple to use.
The prompts are good too.
You should target people who are inexperienced writers. Or those who want to start writing.
Advanced writers may get the feeling, using this app, that the story they write is not their own idea anymore. But that's just my personal opinion.

[GAME][3.0+] Peppy's Adventure

Hi all!
Peppy's Adventure is an action puzzle adventure game that I developed on my free time during the last 4 months. I really designed the game like the game I always wanted to play on my phone and tablet.
It's also my first game and as I am currently looking for feedback on every aspect of the game (game design, level design, gameplay, etc.) from as many people as possible, it's completely free.

The hardest choice I had to make was the way to control the character (Peppy). I finally choose to do it with double (redundant) D-Pad controllers, what do you think about it ?

i personally like it
it makes for faster runs when you get the hang of it
only problem i had with the game was finding the sound options lol
took me a minute or two to realise there was a > button

Ok, I'm writing "make the options buttons > and < larger" in my TODO file ^^
I'm also thinking about posting walkthrough videos because I have been told that the game is a little too much difficult sometimes (it's something hard to notice when you are the developer I guess).

You're right, hints might be better than a complete walkthrough. I will think about how to do that the best way.. if you have an idea I'm also interested

I just updated the game:
- removed all permissions needed
- added FLAG_KEEP_SCREEN_ON to keep the device's screen on while the game is active
I will deal with the (<) and (>) buttons in the options tomorrow
Still thinking about a way to integrate hints in the game (maybe where to start and finish but this is not applicable to all levels because there many ways to finish) and also when should the game propose the hints (when the user is stuck on a level for one day for example?)

draw the path in the level (the path you intended)
not all the way though but just a little to get people started

I agree on the number of failed attempts but not sure about drawing the path (even the beginning of it) it might be tricky because time is also in the equation, on some levels foxes need to be at the right location at the right time. Maybe some checkpoints which fade out with time or something like that could be a way to show path and time
Anyway thank you for the suggestion, it helps me think

I'm wondering if I should add some sort of facebook, twitter or google+ integration (even if this is the kind of things I never use in games)

I just added 45 new levels
- 30 in an adventure designed for beginners
- 15 in another adventure for hardcore gamers

I uploaded walkthrough videos , they will be accessible from the game pause menu when you try at least 10 times to pass a level without success.
Be sure to update when the next version is up on Google play in the next hours

Permissions
The app requires permission for the phone so it can launch the phone dialer with a number already entered in it for the safety plan portion of the application. No phone call can be made without going through a minimum of 3 taps: 1. Tap the 'Call' button within the safety plan app, 2. Tap the OK button the Dialog, 3. Tap the Call icon in the phone dialer.

In the past few weeks, I've updated the app to fix a lot of bugs, added support for more countries other than US (US, Canada, Australia, and India!), and made buttons prettier! Also I don't really know how to change the post title to reflect the version number - does anybody know how?

This app looks very nice. I bet it's a very useful. I would need and love to use it, but unfortunately it's unavailable in Romania, Europe. I hope you will add support for more countries in the future. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Sad, but there seems to be problem in google play store for my app. It cannot be searched through google play store search. Have reported this to Google.

You replied it very late, the problem is its keep not responding I uninstalled it. Please fix the bug and update us so that we can give a try

Good game, but there are many of those on google play - for work 5+.

Hi,
You are absolutely right about market saturation. And of course thank you a lot for your +5.
This is our first app, and there fore for example In App purchase might not be needed. Wanted to test if we can make it work.
Ones we implement all ideas in game, we will make also Free Lite version, with all equations available, and maybe limiting only few stages out of all 10. But at least giving all chance to test full game.

My first ever game built on Android Studio: Simply Maths

Hi all!
I recently created a game on Android Studio. I am a UX Designer, but had recently done a few UX projects on games and enjoyed doing it. I took some time out to do Simply Maths and one other game (Monster Play) with the development help from my developer friends. It might not be a really unique or one of kind games - please don't judge too strictly. It is my very first attempt and any feedback on the UI, features or how to improve it, will be really helpful!
I found out about this forum also through my developer friends, but I had already put up the game on the GPlay through a publisher. But I would really appreciate any feedback and help to improve on the next games. I am unable to post a link or any images. I am also not sure how to attach an apk for you all to review, but you can access the game from GPlay on here:
