Hey guyz this is KKRRAAZZYY. Today i have got my new phone i.e. HTC 1 X AND I had sold my beloved i9003 AND I AM ALSO PLANNING TO BUY GALAXY S3 when it will be released . I would like to thanks all of the galaxy sl i9003 users and community for always supporting me. Here in this section I have released my first rom and also learned a lot of things from the other good developers. So a big THANKYOU to all.

NOOO! KKRRAAZZYY!!! YOU TOO!!! recently there are many i9003 leaving... but now, we have lost one of the greatest theme maker as well as a modder. but we will continue your path into leading this phone to its full capacity.
but i might not go long with this phone as well. after my phone breaking down on internal sd & motherboard, i might need to buy a new one instead. it still has warranty but the receipt has been misplaced here at home. buying a new one might be a better idea than paying alot to change the motherboard.
wow. you're buying an s3!!!! please pm me and give me pics if you get one!!! but it'll take time before the release on asia. samsung said on the live gadget show it'll go out on may 29.. but first on europe..... then in ASIA. i might buy an s3 but there is a higher chance i'd get an s2...

Hey guys.. It's unfortunate that i don't use this device anymore and gave it to my mom, i now use an S3.
So i will not be able to be as active in this device forum and will probably focus on the S3 forum.
I really had a great time with you guys, and i will certainly keep helping here and there, and keeping a look at Kernel 3.x and CM development.
I really hope the best for all of you.

Hey Galaxy Tab 2 Team!
I'm going out to purchase a Galaxy Tab 2 7" tomorrow, and just wanted to stop by to say hi
I've been on the Optimus 2X forum since the forum was created, and just wanted to say that I'm looking forward to communicating with this community also!
Any tips for best ROM etc.? I see a lot of names I haven't seen before since I'm only used to the AOSP/AOKP/CM based ROMs.
I'll be using the tablet mainly for the purpose of reading PDFs (for school), how are you guys experience with this tablet for the purpose?
And for finals, I'll get the tablet for 160 USD, is this a fine price?

Welcome Neefy. Haven't been here too long myself, and this community is pretty good. Plenty of helpful people here, and a nice international community. On roms, it depends on what you like. We have a lot of great flavors here that you find elsewhere. Cm, aokp, paranoid, and some custom Samsung stock. Update to jellybean, then use cf autoroot. Test out stock because it is pretty snappy. The price is pretty good. It beats the Christmas sale price I got. All in all, it has made me a fan of Samsung. Good luck....

I run this tab with Sugsonic HD and it's great.
I mainly bought it to use on the London tube and it serves me quite well, especially when it's cramped and newspapers are akward to read.
I download the newspapers to read offline.
Ideally I'd prefer a 10" to use indoors and this is on my wish list.

Gud bt I think there are many other apps for reading newspaper ,
You should try that and I think your problem might get solved

As with everyone, i say try them all out... ROM choice will always be about personal preference. I like the aokp variety, but i use the ir blaster frequently and it doesn't work on non stock (....yet). Welcome, and good luck!

I don't mean this response to sound mean, but it probably will.
Stop asking and do it yourself!!!!
When I first bought my T210R, there wasn't even a Galaxy Tab 3 forum. I (and a few others) had to request that a forum be made for us. Once we had a forum, that was really it. Nothing was available except questions. No developers. We eventually got one good developer who helped us with using pre-rooted firmware and he released stock-based rom, but we still didn't have even a custom recovery.
I had practically no "real" knowledge of how anything worked (still only very limited), but I took it upon myself to learn and get something working. Soon, @hkjr asked the great @ketut.kumajaya to help us out and with many attempts, we finally had a working recovery. I've learned a few more things along the way. I've learned to compile kernels, recoveries, and roms from source. I didn't know any of this a year ago.
So, if an (almost) 40 year old, with a full-time job, married, with 2 kids (4 and 2) can still learn, you can too.
I look forward to seeing what you produce.:good:

Well said and I can relate. I am 40 and have twins (8). Early on, I knew nothing and when I got a device to replace my Atrix4g - I went to town on on the Atrix... all thanks to @Th3Bill. I learned a lot from him and tinkered with my device for months. As with everything and anything, as soon as I dropped the Atrix and it never turned back on, I moved on and stopped learning.... I got the Tab3 for my twins but would have never guessed that they would be asses about source code/drivers/etc and the degree of difficulty. Thanks to @CodyF86 and @ketut.kumajaya - I never saw a reason to give up my Tab2... I love my Tab2. At some point, I'll have to repay all my teachers back by looking at, helping out, where ever for the Tab3....

Hey bud! Noticed the mention. Thanks for the credit. It's been a while since I've been on the Atrix threads, but it's always good to see that people remember me from there. I'm on the HTC Ones (both m7 and m8) now. Still tinkering on here, but with 3 kids, homework, etc...been a lot slower than I was back in the day. I'm not expert dev but I'm try dev for T211 , I've totally respect by ketut (dev kernel for t211 too) and gr8nole .
