I am trying to root my s3 i747 for the first time using the CF-Auto-Root, but the phones security is blocking the SuperSU from working. Is there a way around it or a different root to use?

Here's another method of rooting your Galaxy S2 without using ODIN.
(Safer method since you can brick your phone using ODIN. With this method, you cannot brick your phone ever.)
This will root your Galaxy S2 and install busybox.
If all you need is a rooted Galaxy S2 (without ClockworkMod Recovery), you can use this method and safe to do on "any" Galaxy S2 including U.S. versions as you are not flashing a new kernel.
Also since you are not flashing a new kernel, you won't have triangle after you root.
Note: I found that the 1-click method on Droid Razr works on Galaxy S2 so modified a bit for Galaxy S2.
can i use for my i9100g??

Okay guys. Here we go. I screwed up the other day while trying to load a custom ROM following a friends instructions. I tripped Knox on my Verizon Note II 4.3 and was forced to downgrade to 4.1.1. My phone is no longer rooted and I am trying to figure out how to root from 4.1.1 with a locked bootloader and then use safestrap to install custom ROMs. Sadly I cannot find any info anywhere after several hours of searching. I've read up on Knox and I could care less about warranty info (I bought the phone used after all) and I just want to be able to load custom ROMs so I can better enjoy my phone while being able to restore APN settings since I am running on a non-Verizon carrier service. Please help!
Edit: I used RootChecker to make sure that my phone is no longer rooted after downgrading to 4.1.1
Edit: Fixed with Kingo Root
Hi!
I want to enable the multi-users functionality on my Samsung Galaxy S4. It runs Android version 5.0.1, so it shouldn't be a problem, but I need to root my phone in order to edit my build.prop file.
Problem is, I own a Samsung Galaxy S4 sgh-m1919v, which is a phone from Videotron in Quebec, Canada.
I've tried Kingroot and Towelroot, but neither will support this phone.
Another common way to root an android phone seems to be by using Odin and going into download mode, but since this exact phone isn't on the list of "approved" devices, I am reluctant to try it... I really don't want to break it.
I've checked on this forum and haven't found an answer to my problem yet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
TL;DR: Need help rooting Samsung S4 SGH-M1919V
Hi there, I am wondering if anyone knows if I can root my Samsung Galaxy S7 7.0, model number SM-G930W8.
Carrier is Rogers, purchased from T-booth.
I am looking to retrieve data I have lost. I tried Dr. Fone but they cannot root an android of 7.0 and said if I can get my phone rooted by another way I can still use their recovery tool.
It seems like I have to download Odin. Just want to make sure I do this correctly.
Thank-you in advance!
Have you successfully rooted your device? I have the same device and problem.
There is another user who rooted an s7 (different model from the Rogers/Telus/Bell version) and used Dr Fone which resulted in a fingerprint sensor error: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/help/finger-print-sensor-responding-using-dr-t3735296
