Current most reliable rom - Verizon HTC One (M8)

For the past few days I've been using '[ROM][4/13/14] GPE for M8VZW' and I've enjoyed stock android but I'm having a few issues. The phone is laggier/sluggish compared to the stock m8 rom, the camera is unusable, and you cant talk and browse the internet at the same time. I debated on going back to the stock m8 rom but I wanted to see what everyone suggested. I know theres viperone, skyfall, and now barebones. I would like a stock android experience but without the lag and performance issues.
Thanks

Skyfall is the most stock stable Rom

SkyFall is uber stable. I haven't encountered any issues at all. It's sense though.

[Q] What is your favorite ROM as of today?

Been fine on stock TMO rom. However I do want to upgrade to 2.3.4 So I have been studying the ROM section here on forum for Sensation.
I want Sense and as close as stock as I can get. Been leaning towards REVOLUTION or InsertCoin ROms. However I have read some issues with Insert Coin.
Could you give me what your using and if its stable?
Thanks team!
LeeDroid is the best IMO
What kind of issues have u heard about with insertcoin? I installed this the other day and it works great! Would also like to know what the leeroid has over insertcoin cause i was thinking about that one as well

Been using Insertcoin for the last few days, works great. No issues so far.
CoreDroid, all the 2.3.4 goodies along with one SEXY ass theme!
my signature
CoreDroid V4 (2.3.4) works well!
x 2 on CoreDroid. I've been using it without problems (other than the fact that autobrightness doesn't transition smoothly for me), and I haven't read of anyone else having that problem. Overall very fast and good looking rom.

Just curious, anyone using juice defender on their 2.3.4 rom? Works?

Yeah coredroid really looks good on this phone. Rom is super slick too. Finally feels like a dual core is inside of it.

InsertCoin v2.1. I'll eventually upgrade to 2.2.1 or whatever the current release is soon. The stock kernal flies. I haven't given the custom kernal a go yet.

Senseless 1.3 =] Great rom with a great gingerbread theme.. Hopefully upgraded to 2.3.4 soon!
As soon as most of us switched to S-Off, I was heistant on flashing since most ROMS as already mentioned were unstable with very few options for T-Mo USA users.
However after messing around with a few stock rooted roms, I jumped on InsertCoin and have not looked back. Some hiccups in the begining, but stable overall. Great ROM.

Did you switch to the recommended radio for insertcoin as well? I really want to try insertcoin but am afraid of flashing radios, and CoreDroid has just happened to work fine with stock tmous radio, so it's a great solution as of now.

coredroid try it if u haven't yet what u have to lose
Using latest MDJ Virtous rom. He knows what he's doing.
Insert Coin far and away the fastest imo.
i don't have htc sensation but what about Android Revolution HD ROM ???
I first check RevolutionHD, but didn't find it much better than the stock rom, so I changed to Leedroid and with the brand new 2.3.4 inside I definitely love it.
Maybe will have a look on Insert Coin in the future ase many here are favoring it.

Can someone help me find a rom

Can someone help me find stable rom that is for the most part senseless. I (I also really like the stock ics) thanks in advance
Look in the dev section.

Coming from SGS2 I do not mind sense. I was on AOKP back on SGS2 amongst many other ROMs and kind of bored with stock android look. Loving the sense so far.....maybe in the future.
Is the AOKP fully functional on HOX?
Another vote for CleanROM 4.1 DE. Super easy to install and plenty of customization.

I tried the CleanROM SE first - however had a wierd graphic bug on the pull down notification bar which was addressed by the Xi40 rom. so like it better
CleanROM is a fantastic ROM, but it is not Sense-free. The DE version has no Sense in the interface but some of it is still leftover.
I'm curious to try Xi40 as I want to find a ROM with no Sense at all to check if the LTE signal loss/battery drain issue is still there.

right now im running CleanROM 4.0 and battery life doesn't seem a whole lot better than stock sense and clean rom has to much sense elements that i dont really care to much for. also what is the difference between 4.0 standard and 4.1 DE

Does AOKP have any major bugs or flaws because i do need my phone for work and i cant have my phone dropping signal all the time or anything like that

I have been on Clean ROM 4.1 SE for a while. It's extremely stable, but like the others have said before, has Sense.
Clean Rom 4.1 DE is the way to go!

Then you want aokp rom from Rohan or cm9 those all the only two roms completely sense free... you do have to manually enter apn to get lte

Rohans beta 40 is good..you have to delete original apn and enter one he provides also should use either radio 1.91 or 2.09.

Could you send me a link please
CleanROM 4.1 is what I have been using and I haven't had any problems, but I do go back to cm9 when an update comes out just to give it a try.
Hope you find one that suits you. Good luck
Big fan of CleanROM 4.1 DE. I tried AOKP but the stock Dialer/Contacts/MMS/Keyboard is a step back IMO. I really just wanted the Stock Email client as this lets me set different ringtones for different accounts. It's also not worth losing the very excellent Sense Camera for the CM9 camera.
IMO, until CM9 and AOKP can provide the same camera experience (i know theres 3rd party apps but meh) then its not worth switching to them just yet.

[Q] Favorite Sense ROM?

Due to the wireless issues i seem to always have with the cynogen roms, I'm probably going back to using a sense based one. Is there one thats nearly stock, or is stock? If not, what do you guys like to use? I want one thats smooth, and doesn't have any issues since this is for my daily driver. Really im curious what everyone likes to use.
There's a few in android development that are stable and jb based
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
Viper 3.0, very smooth (JB) and stable for me.
See, I tried Viper for a day or so, it just seemed bloated with all the custom software they put into it. It just seemed bogged down.
Newts JB sense 4+ really smooth and nearly bug free(depending on who you ask). No bugs for me though.

Ok, ill have to look into that.

Really? The tweaks are the selling point for me. Where you running the stock kernel? I really like CleanRom but that's all it was, just a clean Rom. I really like ViperXL 2.4.1. Coming from jailbreaking iPhones, Viper personally appeals to me from tweaks alone.
I'm itching to try 3.0.0 though but no Venom tweaks as of yet. How about JellyBam?
ATT HOX Premium App--Stock is fine but modded is Creative
CleanRom and King Cobra
Best sense ROM is tachi91's new jellybean ROM. Then flash the new radio.
Sent from my HTC One XL
I use Viperxl with all the bloat erased and elemental kernel. Very stable and get awesome battery life. No reboots etc.

best all around *stable* rom?

Ello lads,
I actually use an HTC DNA as my primary phone but bought a Sensation today for $20. It's already rooted and running on CyanogenMod 9.0.0-RC0-pyramid-UNOFFICIAL
Wondering if I should just leave it on that or is there a better(faster/stable) rom that's recommended? thanks!

From personal experience - all ICS ROMs are stable and very good for daily use. As for JB, Cyanogenmod ROMs are stable too (used albinoman's CM10.1 ROM for a couple of months, been a great experience), and people say CM10.2 is good as well.
As for Sense JB (Sense 4+, namely ViperS and Revelation), They work well, but might have some bugs here and there (It's a ported kernel, and is mostly functional, and from my experience with it (it's my daily driver) it's very good).
For the long runs CM10.1 seemed to run better for me, but that's my opinion.
Hoped I helped.
Bruce cm and sense 4+ rons are the most stable Rom out there , sultan. Is also unstable due to kernel and other cm too .

I am selling my Sensation which rom do you think is most stable

Right now i have flashed ViperS 5.0.0 do you think that is stable enough? What would you recommend. The most important thing is stable.
You should probably revert back to compete stock.

Complete stock sucks and is slow lol. I would feel bad sending someone that.... Any other suggestions. Plus i advertised the phone as rooted with a custom rom on ebay.
edit: I think i might go with ViperS 3.1.4
ARHD 7.3, all as stock, but faster and smoother. Plus install Sultan latest Sense kernel.

WiFi doesn't seem to work on my sensation with the sultan kernel. Just go with the provided kernel. The rom I would reccomend is the ViperS sense 5.0 rom. Its very stable, and you get jelly bean with it too. I also would reccommend a tweaking tool for the SebastionFM kernel (the stock one in the ROM). Its pretty neat because you can customise alot of it.

Maybe on yours, mine is working flawlessly.
The best way is to go as close to stock as he can, all other roms are not quite good as it. I tried almost all of them and I always come back to ARHD.
