App works fine just don't need to control the volume on my TV need the volume on my AV receiver. has anybody figured out a way to have this app control that?

I don't think there's a way yet... hopefully Samsung can update the software to address this

Hi I'm pretty new to the android scene. I have the 2011 elantra, which has an ipod hookup where you can navigate the ipod and see song titles and whatnot on the sound system in the elantra. There's also audio controls on my wheel that allow me to skip songs and whatnot
Is there any way to substitute my Infuse to do these things? I mostly want it to be possible to be able to use the wheel controls to skip songs.

The Elantra might support USB Mass Storage mode, in which case you should be able to use that with your Infuse.
Otherwise - aux cable and/or bluetooth.
Anyone out there know of an app or some sort of mod that will allow me to change the BT audio settings. For example, I'd like to be able to stop my phone from playing messate tones thru the headset and the device.
I would also like to know if anyone has come up with any mods.

Hello, i am running Android version 2.3.7 on a Samsung Infuse
Due to water damage my phone no longer recognizes when a headset is plugged in or not, and thus always thinks that it is plugged in.
I have found an app that forced the audio to play through the speakers of the phone, but i am unable to find an app that does the opposite which is forcing the audio through the headset.
if it helps, the app that does the opposite of what i need says it does 4 things:
Headset false
A2DP false
SCO false
Speakerphone false
I also realize there are widgets that can accomplish forcing the plug/unplugging of the audio, but i really need a very simple app that forces the audio to headset when opened. (i need the app instead of a widget to use it with tasker and other things, widget is very limiting.)
if it could be done through tasker that would be great too.

I've been trying to use my headset (factory ones) with my s5. They don't sit in correctly for some reason. When I push and hold them firmly in then the earphones connected comes up on the notification bar. As soon as I let go the symbol disappears.
I've tried other headsets but no joy.
Can anyone suggest a solution?
Solved it. I needed to push them in further.

I'd be interested too! I don't believe it's possible. However, the Spotify app lets you control one instance from another if both devices are on the same network. I control Spotify on my phone from my watch using remote widget while it controls my tablet which is playing via my Bluetooth speaker.

problem with spotify is wifi network and cant control other android devices. or am i wrong?
