so it is safe to follow the OP to install the update and S-OFF?
Has anyone done it yet?
Just want to make sure that I am doing this right. So we place that file in the cache/fumo folder and flash in custom recovery? or just use the update installer from the settings menu? or do I have this completely wrong all together?
So how do I update with s-off, root, and custom recovery?

[ROM] ((¯°·._.• ⓢⓘⓡⓘⓤⓢ-ⓧ •._.·°¯)) [ ICS 4.0.4 ][ Evita 2.23.707.2 ][ 31.07.2012 ]
The Mission StatementSIRIUS-X is a rom based off the 2.23.707.2 Asia WWE and made Vanilla HTC WWE, with elements taken from 1.94 Rogers, 1.85 AT&T, and 1.89 Telstra rom's. The plan is to provide the most stable and complete 'daily driver' for this Shining Beacon of a device. Minor 'tweaks' will be added in due time, but only once the base has been improved upon under the hood (how it should be when making a rom)
More features for functionality will be added in the future. The main configuration of the rom is as a Canadian device, using the Rogers CID, email address definitions, and build.prop definitions applied to a cleaned up 2.23 build.prop. Next version will contain ability to choose region (US/Canada/Asia/Australia) and the customizations specific to those regions.
Already included is a complete APN list for all carriers that support our device from all available regions. (So even if you're not Canadian, you can still use this rom)
Please Note: This rom will flash the Radio listed below to match the ril's that come with the rom and minimize issues that may arise related to mix and matching radio's and ril's.
General Rom InformationBase: ASIA WWE 2.23.707.2
Kernel: Stock & Secure - v3.0.8
Recomended Radio: Stock - v0.19as.32.09.09_L_10.104B.32.25L (Included)
Recomended Recovery: TWRPHow To InstallStep 1: Reboot To Recovery.
Step 2: Backup Your Current Rom
Step 3: Flash.
Step 4a: Restore only the /Data partition from your backup
Step 4b: Setup.
Step 5a: Let it update your apps upon bootup
Step 5b: Enter all setup info/allow device to sync and restore.
Step 6: Reset your apn entries.
Step 6: Use & Abuse It.

Awesome non the less. I'm excited for the next few weeks (hopefully..)
Really looking forward to the development here, Cant wait to see a direct build for speed/overclock. Although i'm not sure how necessary it would be to overclock the device since its at the top of the tech chain atm. None the less, *cant wait*.

Hmmm. that's odd. It worked on the obnoxious files on the International...have you tried deodexing single in the Kitchen and choosing "ignore" errors? That seems to work, as long as it can assemble...
I will send the recovery, I just want to know what the sdcard partition is called...for some reason it comes out as "internalsd" on the international, but I only see "fat" on the Rogers...I am hoping that last_log has the name. I'll send it anyway, and see what happens...

This is not a kernel but an app to modify kernel settings. As for whether this app works on your device or not, it might as it was written to work generally but we haven't explicitly tested it on your device as we don't have it.

Hi everyone ! This is my first ROM for the HTC ONE S i recently came from the HTC SENSATION.
I wanted to start off with putting my base out for everyone to use.
I didn't remove the bloat on one of them because I don't want to remove any apps people might use.
I plan to release a De-bloated version by Sunday so if you are interested in that i would wait or you can download this one and just remove the apps yourself. This is based off the 2.35.531.7.710RD TMOUS RELEASE.
I have been using this ROM for weeks now and i have not had any problem, its a very stable build and the battery life is as good as stock which i get 2 days or more depending on usage.

idk about the long press to skip track that a bit of work decompiling the android.policy.jar, im sure there are mods out there you can apply
I know a lot of people like the 1% battery but there are a lot of us that do not want it as well. Any chance that could be an option and not default?
The ability to center the status bar clock or remove it completely would be nice as well.

I have this error below in trickdroid 7.0.0 and stock 2.35. I think the problem is in stock 2.35 and when you build the rom base on stock 2.35,this error still exist. Can you try to find out and fix the error, please?
The error is: I have contact list (phone book), let make example: Mr. A - cell phone no 09010001000.
When he call me, it aspears on my phone his name & number, that's right.
But when he text me, on my phone there is just only aspeared his number w no name (plus Vietnam code: +849010001000).
It meant that my phone did not understand the call and text were come from one number only, they automatically add-in my country code (as I said +84 Vietnam).
Before with ver 1.84 we did not get this error.
Thanks
Note: I have to key one name with two numbers (+849010001000 and 09010001000 for Mr. A), very rediculous for one smartphone book

Wait -- I thought the G does not have the *hardware* to support miracast? I'm on the fence now for getting a G, and having mircast would definitely change my calculus... I'd be most appreciative if anyone could confirm this (as in, actually wifi-streaming a video using this ROM).
Thanks!
installed fine using TWRP
Thanks

as far as i know its just a software feature added in 4.2, i don't have a miracast dongle yet so could not actually try and connect to anything
i posted the mod here originally for people to test http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2562356
but if your only interested in streaming video & pics, DLNA works fine for that on any phone with wifi,
i have a great DLNA app from a huawei stock rom that i use with the play station 3 to stream movies and pics, can upload it if you want.
tested and working on Moto G

Stock based, so i dont think it is compiled from sources. Dispite that: sources aren't fully published yet....

Not sure what you mean there but yeah apparently Single Sim ROM could be installed on Dual Sim devices with the lack of Dual sim support of course.
Is it possible to add additional languages that are in standard android versions?

Yes I did, however it remains not working and touching on quick toggle for Mobile network cause the setting to stop working. Correct me if I am wrong but the phone is supposed to automatically gather the APN setting isn't it?

it depends what's in the apn_conf.xml, but if your having force closes when pressing the data button it must be that the GB retail rom is not compatible with dual sim devices.
I'm still unable to install APKs through file explorers.
Good effort though, kudos for putting it out there first.

Same here.
Going to post the ROM sans kernel and SU. Was going to package Skyhigh Kernel, but the dev asked me not to. Can't say as I blame him, a lot of work goes into producing a kernel. Anyway, to get the desired effect, 3 zips will need to be flashed in order. ROM, Kernel, then SuperSU. Sorry for the roundabout method.

It's back up. Pretty stable, but I'm sure we'll discover some things not working.

flashed the latest and its great so far! very clean interface which is what i like!
just one thing for the next update, its the removal of a package called com.tmobile.pr.adapt.2.4.5, its a tmob app thatll require root, it drains the heck out of your battery and won't let you phone sleep.
besides that, i like this rom! new DD forsure!
