kt747 kernel bootsplash image removal/modification - General Questions and Answers

I recently downloaded kt747 for jb 4.1.2 running synergy rom and although it fixed the camera bug on both the stock kernel and ziggy kernel, the boot splash isn't quite doing it for me when I turn on my phone. Is there a way to remove or change the picture? Thanks

Non kexec kernels?

Seeing how our bootloader is unlocked now, are there any new non kexec kernels out yet? I'm tired of the stock kernel.

CM10 has one i believe, but give it time. We've been unlocked for 24 hours, it'll happen soon enough.
Imoseyon has an AOSP one, and is almost done with this Beta 0.2 (non kexec) TW kernel
Yeah that's what I'm thinking at this point. I'll just stick with my stock kernel till a non kexec one comes out. I'm looking forward to imo's new kernel

HELP: How to fix system lag in cm 10.1

I can't figure out how to fix the lag in some games and after the game exits. The only way to fox the lag is turn off and then turn on the screen. If there is already a thread about this can someone redirect me?
Thank You

Solved: How to fix system lag in cm 10.1
Hey figured out my own problem. It was the kernel, I flashed lean kernel beta 2.4 and that fixed the problem. Make sure you are downloading the right kernel at first I flashed d2att and I got a soft brick. But then I reflashed cm10.1 and learn kernel with no wipe and all was good.
Thanks for reading,

That lag is not entirely kernel related. Check or the new LuquidSmooth and you can see what I'm talking about

or the app "LagFix" Supposed to be pretty nice.

Stable Rom & kernel?

Hi guys I'm just wondering what rom and kernal you are using right now that's smooth and doesn't freeze as often. Right now I'm currently on stock and I still have hope in a fully working jellybean

I vote CM7 or PA CM10 Build 9. Each with Mazouts kernel.
After 1 year of use I found this perfect setup: Official Cm 7.2 + trinity kernel (the only one with no BSOD) + wolfscript (help for battery life and fluidity).
