Here's my recovery build for Myphone Iceberg
Installation(Using ADB/Fastboot)
Code:
adb reboot bootloader/Boot into fastboot
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
you'd have to execute this from the path of recovery.img
2.Using SP Flash Tools
.Switch off device
.Select the MT6589.. Scatter file and load it onto your SP flash tools
.Uncheck everything other than recovery
.Double click recovery and navigate to your recovery.img path
.Click Download
the scatter file and the recovery are attached

Aroma File Manager
Download aromafm.zip from the attached files and place in clockworkmod/aromafm/aromafm.zip of external storage.
How to get multi-flash to work:
Download the multi-flash zip from below and extract it to clockworkmod/ so then the folder looks like this

It won't work if it isn't in that format.
Everything works AFAIK, report any bugs if you find any. To do backup of custpack you have to do a custom backup. The normal backup won't back it up but it will backup everything else

Tried booting this with fastboot using fastboot boot recoveryPopD3.img but the phone wouldn't boot

Thanks for your reply. However my phone is running stock ROM and not rooted. So I can't use those apps. I figure in order to root I need to first flash a custom recovery but none of the recoveries will flash properly with SP Flash Tool. Is it because my phone model is a 4037R ?

Thanks for the file but that didn't boot either. I tried Fastboot and SP Flash tools but the file won't flash. I've tried it on two different 4037R phones too. I guess I'll have to give up on finding a custom ROM for this phone.

I've been trying to Read Back these files using SP Flash Tools but I keep getting the following error:
BROM ERROR: S_DL_GET_DRAM_SETTING_FAIL (5054)
please check your load matches to your target which is to be downloaded
I can't use a tool like z4root on my phone due to the restrictions from the ROM, and /proc/mtd is an empty file on my phone as well, so I can't copy the files using dd.
However MTK Droid Tools says my hardware is a MT6581. Is there a scatter fille for the MT6581? I have been using the MT6582 scatter file.

Hmmm, root your device using kingroot then backup your boot.img and recovery.img using flashify. Remove kingroot with supersume.

Method 1 : Using Framaroot
0. Make sure you have backup of your current rom or stock rom!!!
1. Download framaroot from here Download here
2. Copy the downloaded file to external memory card
3. Install and launch it
4. Select SuperSU (Recommend) or Super User
5. Tap "Boromir"
6. Wait for a minute
7. Reboot device
8. Launch SuperSU and if it asks you to update binary, update it
9. Update SuperSU from Google Play Store
10. Launch SuperSU and if it asks you to update binary, update it
Done!
Method 2: Rooting via custom recovery (CWM/ TWRP/ PhilZ)
0. Make sure you have backup of your current rom or stock rom!!!
1. Download SuperSU flashable zip Download here
2. Copy the downloaded file to external memory card
3. Reboot to recovery
4. Install/ Flash the downloaded zip
5. Reboot from recovery (Go to recovery to wipe cache and dalvik-cache if stuck in bootloop)
6. Launch SuperSU and if it asks you to update binary, update it
7. Update SuperSU from Google Play Store
8. Launch SuperSU and if it asks you to update binary, update it
Done!

This MIUI Rom is only for Huawei G730 U00 device..
What's working: everything is working as far as tested..
Bugs: not found yet
Installation Instruction
If you have not flashed CWM:
(1) download Flashtool, Insecure Boot and CWM for G730 U00
(2) After extraced, flash Insecure boot img,
(3) After only flashing insecure boot img, you can be able to flash Cwm recovery img.
After flashing CWM recovery,
(1) put G730U00-MIUI Rom.zip on your SD card.
(2) Power off your phone and pull out battery for about 5 seconds and put it back
(3) Press (Power Button+Volume Up) to enter into CWM recovery mode.
(4) Before flash, perform Wipe data factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik.
(5) Install zip from sdcard>>find G730U00-MIUI Rom.zip from your sdcard. and flash it.
(6) After flashed, perform Wipe Data & factory reset, and Reboot.
That's it!!

Pitch Black Recovery Project (PBRP) is a custom recovery project based on Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) developed by Reza Adi, maintained by Manjot Sidhu and Mohd Faraz and themed by FireWolf.
Prerequisites
1. Unlocked bootloader.
Bugs
1. No bugs, test it's those sides which others haven't tested yet
2. If you have found a bug, please consider posting it to my GitHub Issues.
Instructions
Method 1 (Fastboot Installation)
1. Go to the fastboot mode.
2. Download the PitchBlack-S3-Pro.img and transfer it to the adb folder (rename is optional for simplicity).
3. Open the cmd/terminal and change directory into the adb folder.
4. Now confirm/check that device is connected by typing:-

If you got your device seriel number there then you are ready to continue otherwise try connecting device again and make sure USB debugging is on and you have granted permission to the PC to debug.
5. After that we will flash this PBRP recovery to the recovery partition by below command:-

BooM ! PBRP flashed successfully.
Method 2 (TWRP Installation)
1. As far i know there is an official twrp. If you have it installed in your device, then this is just a piece of cake
2. Flash PitchBlack-aubrey-2.9.0-20190606-2156-UNOFFICIAL.zip from twrp.
3. It will reboot to recovery automatically after that.
BooM ! PBRP flashed successfully.

I have flashed this new recovery twrp PitchBlack-S3-Pro.img but not run in this device.
The phone reboot but not enter in recovery mode!!!!

Sorry can't get either .img or zip file to boot to recovery. Thanks for the effort though
