Hey guys,
today in the morning Samsung released the brand new Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for i9105P! German users will get the update first via OTA. Other countries will follow soon.

just download all 5 files and unzip the .zip file
Read before flashing:
Make a backup from your data! I recommend to format all partitions because some apps won't work without full-wipe.
Flash via odin:
-download the rom from above
-download Odin from this post
-unzip both downloads
-power off your phone
-power on while holding volume down + home + power (download mode)
-plug your phone in (make sure that the Samsung USB drivers are installed)
-open odin
-click on PDA and choose the unzipped .md5
-untick everything except "Auto reboot" and "F. Reset Time"
-click Start
How to get root access (thanks to OurJerry!)
-download this file
-open odin
-click on PDA and choose the .tar file
-untick everything except "Auto reboot" and "F. Reset Time"
-click Start
-reboot to recovery (volume up + home + power) and install this .zip file

I would test it but I have a i9505 (Galaxy S4). Just saw it on SamMobile when I was searching for an update for my phone..

Tell me if this package can root 4.2.2 please.
Just flash it in stock recovery

There are some difference from 4.1.2 more optimization, launcher, weather widget and lockscren of galaxy s4 and much more but multi window there isn't.. I could try port from s2 but i think that is very difficult

Experimental Root:
KINGbabasula made a root.zip which you can easily flash in stock recovery. Now he needs a tester, because he don't has the phone.

All and all, the process seemed to end successfully.
After all was finished, processes started to stop working :silly: (Google+, Skype, Contacts, and some others...)
I think reinstalling Skype helped.
Can't touch Google+ because I don't know how to get root access (should the "sticky" post work on 4.2.2 as well?).
I'm not sure what is causing all this
Any suggestions?

i flash the new 4.2.2 Rom. But the Recovery don't work for the new rom.
Any Idear why???

The reason it wipes the cwm and onstalls stock one.
Try to root the phone and install custom cwm from sticky thread and check if that will works.

Hey,
what don't work for your rom? Can't you access it?
When someone has found a way to root the stock 4.2.2 rom, you should be able to re-flash the custom recovery..

I didn't try, but probably not. You'd just need a new CWM build, and then use SuperSU to root as usual.

The SII Plus is the first device in the Samsung lineup to receive an official (not a buggy leak) 4.2.2 build, before the Galaxy SIII, Galaxy Note II or other higher-end phones. Are we lucky or not?

Of course it will work.
Just make sure you flash the right ROM for your device ( i9500/i9505/i9505GE )

yup a copy paste error, I9500 doesn't support open GL3 because its GPU doesn't.

Last night I had a new legal update for my sm n900

It is about 118 MB
I testing the device after the update and I think the problem of heat during called has been solved which had been eating my battery in 1 hour

Is there any GAPPS problem using MIUI V6 upper V5.6.X?

Hi.
I'm using Pantech Vega Iron (A870L), which is unofficially supported MIUI V6.
In V5.5.29, GAPPS works fine with me, but after V5.6.X, if I flash GAPPS, Storage Full error comes out in Google Play Store.
Everyone experiences that problem, so almost all of us use V5.5.29 though it is old ;(
Is there any solution?

Hi,
That was MIUI patchrom's bug. Someone needs to patch the Downloads provider for Play Store can download and install apps. However, it breaks OTA update.

I've already used, but it works on 5.5.29 or lower versions only.
If I flash that patch in June (5.6.X) versions, DownloadUI goes to FC.

Xiaomi has done a "funny" commit on patchrom sources that prevents Downloads provider for being patched. If only someone can find a solution of this, then I would try MIUI myself... :/
EDIT: Temporary workaround (hope it works; to prevent Downloads provider for being updated) is to download the latest OTA update and do this:
1. Unzip the package.
2. Open META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script with text editor and remove DownloadsProvider from the script.
3. Zip the package and give a try.

I am running this, on my Galaxy A3.
The only mandatory thing for Good Lock seems to be Marshmallow and TouchWiz.

It is 100 % removable in case you don't like it

Well I didnt like it because it messes with my already customized status bar and etc. But the app is good for those who are not as picky as me

It takes a while to get used to it.
It's new so probably they are improving it.

Is your device n9005?

Works OK with Aryamod 6.5, but not multilanguage (just English).
Just installed apk, tested, and unninstaled, no problem at all.
