Hi Guys I found this on some pak forum. This rom is for the chipset mt6589 similar to canvas hd. I hope we can port canvas hd roms to ours so if this is possible please have a look into it guys. This is just a random thought I have no idea about porting if you find it silly please ignore it.:silly:

I need one favour from you guys regarding some other device which I have ( gionee elife e7) there is no development for that device and I was wondering if we could port ROMs from (xioami mi3 )it has almost same specs so can any developer here guide me abt it and if not from mi3 what other devices I can consider for porting rom for gionee elife e7.

There's a number of guides about porting roms here. If the devices have nearly the same specs then the job becomes much easier. See these threads:
