Any idea why XDA app keeps shutting down? Flashed a few Roms and some recoveries and now it shuts down all the time. Blew it out and reinstalled but didn't help. Running Andy's Bonestock with MF1 firmware.

Ok so my phone started rebooting randomly on gingerbread and then when I went to ics the rebooting stopped but then every app would force constantly making the phone unusable so I did a factory reset that fixed apps then rebooting happened again. Will flashing a rom fix this?

Anyone?

The only way to tell is to reset and wipe caches 3 times or flash cwm then wipe everything 3 times then flash stock ics through odin and see if it helped, if not its probably a hardware problem.
How to do all of this is in my sig links.

System would ramdomly reboot
any fix or should I find another rom?
It's called random reboots, some roms have that.
What rom are you on?

Regardless... It's already here so...
Wipe cache... Factory Reset in stock recovery... That should fix it.
Bought mobile odin, did the check md5 option then next then I know screen is black and phone is unresponsive.
Computer does recognize the phone because it makes noise when I plug it in.
Cant get into recovery or download mode.

Won't hurt to try this unbrick method for people that have flashed an international rom on their VZW GSIII.
Thank you! This looks promising.

Good luck! If you need help with anything, here is nconfer13's thread. nconfer13, Cnexus, and edfunkycold are the main three "in the know" if you get stuck.
That worked! !!

I bought this phone recently and i have realized that it shuts down randomly when i try to use 3g a bit...Does anyone else have the same problem?
Same question: do you have power saving turned on?
Sent from my GT-I9105P using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Can that be causing the random shut down?
He had that issue caused by power a saving so he ask always if it is on.

Actually it's my sister's phone and she doesn't want to void the warranty. Do you think, sending it to the company would help in anyway? I know that the problem seems to be in the firmware..
Flashing back to stock Rom actually brings you back your warranty =="
