I have moto g xt1033 dual sim india version. I want to flash it with latest firmware, as other country have update available but not in india.

the version of my moto g is XT1033 dual sim Asian retail.
the suffix of the version number is LCG2 which can not update Android 4.4 directly.and only the suffix of the version number is LCG4 can.
if anyone has met the same problem?

Hello.. Can I install GPE Firmware on Moto G XT1031? I am following the guide from alonsoch and when I go to download the GPE Firmware in the link provided by him, it starts to download a firmware supposedly for XT1032 but in the guide he never makes reference to work in any model in particular. Has anyone tried it on XT1031 Boost US? Thanks...

No, you just need an unmodified system. if you have modified some parts that the update will change it will fail. But you dont need to lock your bootloader.

guys just now i have installed official carbon rom on moto g (xt1033) carbon rom supports dual sim but its keep on crashing and rebooting systemmui stoped working so dont waste your data by downloading carbon for moto g xt1033 . wait for few weeks developer will fix these issues thanks to developers its really nice rom for single sim and sorry for my english

Who cares about the dual-sim versions anyway.
If you want custom ROMs, better be off to a single-SIM version.
Also why would anyone download a whole ROM via mobile data if it's limited........ can't understand such ppl.
