- hold vol+ and plug usb to boot into fastboot (blu led)
- fastboot flash boot boot.img (from cm10 zip)
- fastboot reboot
- enter recovery, on boot led will be violet for 3'', during this period press vol+
- flash rom zip
- flash gapps zip
- wipe
- reboot
Now when i was on step 4 the phone turned off, and now i can't do anything anymore. doesn't start up, no leds anymore and pc doesn't get a signnal when plugged in..

Maybe a wrong kernel? I'm not sure do you need Smartflash enabled from recovery for flashing kernels. Try enabling it.
But if I were you I'd just flash the ARHD ROM which is exactly like stock ROM.

Flash boot.img(extract from downloaded kernel.zip) using fastboot commands .
Goto bootloader and type this command " fastboot flash boot boot.img " without quotes ..
And if this not work download this rom from HERE near to stock and flash it using 4ext recovery ..

I didn't flash yet any rom. I flash the kernels from commands(fastboot) not from recovery.
I think the kernel isn't match to stock rom.
I need the stock XE ics kernel.

I think you should have downloaded the correct RUU.zip for you, and then taken the boot.img from there.
Would be a lot easier if you just flashed the ARHD!
& If you want to connect device; remove battery, hold vol down + power on to boot bootloader
from there select fastboot.
then it should say FASTBOOT USB

But the SD card not connected to the pc when the device in fastboot.
Turn off phone
remove SD card
put SD card to another device and connect that to PC
Now you can access SD card. Put ARHD to it. Put SD card back to Sensation, reboot to recovery, enable smartflash and then install ARHD.

Maybe I misunderstood, but unlocking your bootloader wipes everything. You needed to get another rom to boot.
If you installed recovery, do
1. Enter recovery (hold power + vol down on startup, select recovery)
2. In 4ext, mount usb storage, get any Rom and put in your sdcard.
3. Enable smartflash, flash Rom.
Happy to help.

Hey Guys,
I just unlocked the bootloader of my Xperia L and unfortunately it got stuck in bootloop. This is a big issue for my because I cannot flash my device because the volume down button is broke, I cannot use it. I can only connect it in fastboot mode. How do I proceed from here? All the help I get is very very appreciated. Thankyou!

Can I flash without using the 'volume down' key? How?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Solved by CWM recovery, CyanogenMod 12 also installed.
Access fastboot using volume up.
Extract system.sin and kernel.sin from ftf. Then Install via fastboot using this command
Code:
fastboot flash system system.sin
fastboot flash boot kernel.sin
hey all
i did backup of system and i wanted reboot the phone now will show Motorola boot-animation and will reboot again and again with same place , i didn't touch anything .
Best Regards
Can you get into the fastboot menu (hold volume down and then power) or into the recovery (from the fastboot menu)? Also, have you unlocked the bootloader and/or flashed a rom?

Did you try flashing recovery from fastboot mode? If not, try following the instructions on the TWRP website (minus the "adb reboot bootloader" part, of course).

Did you try flashing the kernel? I can verify that the Optimus kernel and the TWRP from the Multirom thread work, so I'd recommend trying that combination.

The MultiROM TWRP itself doesn't install multirom, I just know it works, while some other recovery images don't. You will be able to flash a different recovery once you fix your problem.
I forgot that a kernel can't be readily flashed via fastboot... You should try downloading a stock firmware package and flashing at least boot and system.
After rooting Xperia m2 dual model I unlocked the bootloader through official Sony developer website. Then after it I installed twrp through twrp manager. Installation was successful but now I am unable to boot into recovery mode(before installing twrp also). Even I have used fastboot to reboot into recovery mode!! Any idea about what is the problem?? As per some solution I tried to upgrade the bootloader via Emma but the service was not available for Xperia m2 dual. I need to flash Lineage ROM! For this I need to boot into recovery mode! Any solution to boot into recovery mode???

Try updating your bootloader via Emma (Emma is Sony official flashtool.)
After updating download FlashTool (not Emma! Search in Google Flashtool 0.9.23.2)
Open Flashtool and click BLU icon (BootloaderUnlock)
Get your serial and unlock code from Sony Developer World.
When you done try flashing TWRP via fastboot using command in cmd :
fastboot flash recovery [drag TWRP img file to cmd)
It shoud work
I guess you have not read my Post completely! I hav e done all this process. Especially while updating bootloader from Emma it's showing that service is not available for my mobile! I have already installed twrp through twrp manager! Installation was successful but I am unable to boot into twrp recovery! I was just thinking if i try to install original custom ROM again will I get back that old bootloader???

I have the same problem, can't access TWRP...
To flash the ROMs LineageOS 14.1 and Resurrection Remix-N RC2 (in use), I did...
Followed the ROM installation instructions (IMPORTANT!)
In the TWRP step.... I made this:
*** I am not responsible for bricked devices, etc....***
*** AFTER THIS YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO INIITIALIZE DE S.O. ANYMORE ***
*** YOU'LL ONLY BE ABLE TO BOOT S.O. AGAIN AFTER THE ROM FLASH ***
Step 0 - Before anything, copy the ROM zip and GAPPS to external sdcard
Step 1 - Connect your phone to your pc in Fastboot mode (Turn off your phone and connect usb while pressing vol up)
Step 2 - Open Flashtool (0.9.18.6) > click on Thunder button > select FastBoot Mode > click OK
Step 4 - Click on Seletct kernel to Flash > in the window Kernel Chooser, click on *.sin and change it to *.img, Now Select twrp-3.1.0-b2.img and OK.
TWRP WILL BE FLASHED and will be the only thing that will work...
Step 5 - Flash the ROM and GAPPS (if you want)
Enjoy the new S.O.!
Edit: The above method works, but its better to do the right way...
I thought I had updated the bootloader, but actually I didn't... After following this, specifically this, TWRP works!
Sorry for the confusion!

Flash TWRP 3.1.0 from Rashr(Download from play store)
Twrp:https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=673368273298952396
Why don't you flash firmware first, then update bootloader and install TWRP via CMD and then flash ROM.
