Anyone tried using 3rd party camera app to recording video in Xperia J CM10 based rom
I tried these day and I found that when I using 3rd party camera app
when playback,Purple,green noise all over the camera,(not happened in CM camera)
Anyone have these experience

I've got an LT15i with CM7.2 on it (the latest FXP release).
There is a known issue with video recording - i.e. it doesn't work. In the mean time, can you recommend an app I could use to take video in MP4 at HD720 instead?
Also, is it likely that the stock SE camera app would work (instead of the one bundled with CM7.2), and if so, where can I get this? I realise the problems might be down to driver issues, in which case no camera app will work.

Anyone know of one that works on cm_arcee's cm9 kang? Google hasn't produced many good results for me so just wondering if anyone has tested out any video recording apps that work. Thanks!
He already stated that video recording don't work. Doesn't matter what app you use, it still won't work.
On cm mod camera does not work fine. sometime on video recorder (if by chance camera works) video recording is laggy. in result camera quality is not good. but you should download camera ics app from market where camera works fine and video recording is also superb. gauranteed.:good:

i have good experiences with camera ics on stock ics.
now i changed to desire xs and the included stock app works perfectly for pictures and videos.
No lagging or sound issues ?

It looks like 4k video resolution is not detected on third party apps other than cyanogen camera app on stock cyanogenmod 11s kitkat (4.4.4),
Could someone tell if there's any hack to get it working ? I tried stock google camera and secret video recorder app as both are supposed to record in 4k on lollipop at least but no luck on kitkat
