Htc One S Not Turning On After Installing Wrong Boot File
can anyone tell me how to turn it on .............
press power button and volume down key for few seconds until u see bootloader. Flash correct boot.img and voila, ur phone fixed

If the light don't come on when plugged in then its bricked.

Have a look here he can do it but not sure if he close to you but others can do it just a matter of finding them.

Hello falks..
my HTC one x phone won't respond ..
this happened when I maybe disabled one of the system features by the Carot app ..
Now when I open the phone, I get a BLANK screen .. and I can't access any of the phone features .. and when I press the power button, it just restart and the same thing happen again and again.
I couldn't upgrade the system through my computer, because when I plug it, it says CHARGE only ! and I can't change it.

Can you get into TWRP?
Hold the power button for ~10-15 seconds (lights should start flashing) and hold down volume down.
You can let go of power when you see the HTC screen, but not volume down

What ROM were you on? I suggest reflashing the ROM.
don't forget to flash the boot.img, then the ROM

there's a button for that :crying:
Im trying to install a new ROM, but when i press Volume, Start and Home buttons, my screen gets white and i cant to anything other than restarting my phone. :/

Thanks for the fast reply. I'll test them whenever i can. But i have a new problem now. My sound isnt working, i cant hear anything :/

Yes he can do this but there is another way is that flashing a new stable CUSTOM recovery like CWM or something else by odin
Recovery mode:volume up+volume down+Home+power
Download Mode:volume down+Home+power than volume up
My brother's htc sensation xe mob turned of suddenly and when tried to turn on mob it din't give anything only the soft button light and screen black .. he was using viper rom ..any idea about what happen with mob? P.s when i connect the mob to pc it give android phone but with yellow triangle and when try volume down with power button not give anyyhing too and soft button turn on and off simultaneously and when plug the charger while tge phone is off the led lamp give orange light for a sec then turn off again see screenshot

I think luckily u havn't brick ur device.It is a hardware problem.
remove the battery and put it back
then try to boot into bootloader
if you boot select reboot

I can't boot into bootloader when i try thr soft key turn on and off simultaneously and screen is dark P.s (my brother put it in his pocket then he get it out to see it like that ? I thought maybe there is something wrong with screen but i tried to open mob normally till the soft key became light and never turn off then tried to make make a call to see if the mob will ring it said the mob is closed so i think this isn't about the screen any Idea ?

the 3rd screenshot is when i try to connect it with KGS utility (in all cases screen is always black)

in adb mode your device is being recognized
when you are entering adb reboot bootloader what happens?

I can't boot into safe mode .. screen light never turned on and when i try to switch on mob normally thr green light turn on then turn off again and the mob vibrate and the soft key light always turn on anf after while it turn off and by just preesing volume up otlr power button it light again

did you try to use a ruu.exe?
i am thinking that it could be a hardware issue

I'm trying to charge my battery more than 30 % cause he don't wanna continue installing and i have a slow external charger and will back to you again
It say rebooting to bootloader and stop in this stage see the SS

but do u think if it is a hardware it would read as android phone on pc normally but can't restart to bootloader ?

i tried unbricking project but ubuntu can't recognize my mob in QHSUSB_DLOAD mod without battery And ubuntu can't recognize my mob totally

I repaired it guys the problem was with the lcd screen I replaced my sensation xe screen with my friends's sensation and it is working good now
Can someone give me some instructions how to fix bootloop using PC? It would be a great help to all of us Thanks in advance more power!

My rom before that is Project Spectrum then I want to go back to ColorOS since it has so many bugs then it bootlooped
you need a working recovery. Once off, try to use volume UP and power at the same time.

I made a mistake:*volume up is for fastboot (when enabled), down for recovery.
You might have to try power during 15*seconds before. And do not plug your phone.

Tern off phone with hold press vol down and power and when turned of connect charging cable and press vol down with vol up in the same time you will go to bootloader then flash stock
I such you have that issues with twrp of you fixed it tell me

Dont say dont work im such you im have serched for this issues fixs more than 4 haur
Serch in youtube how to openA7 2018 bootloader
And dont lost you need to tern off phone then go to bootloader
If you pressed down vol with power in first 7 second it will be restart dont stop of pressing if the screen blacked for second time press vol up & down in some time

Hey,
I have the same problem with the bootloop and the corrupted locking screen. I'm able to boot into download mode, but I can't figure out which system to flash. I tried several ones, but none of them worked... and I can't get back to the factory recovery. If somebody has an idea which recovery system could work I would be very pleased to know.
Software used to Flash: Odin

Hey , you gotta help me out here please !! i am not able to boot into download mode.
press all buttons at once (volume down + volume up + power button) until the screen turns black. Than immeadiatly press volume up and volume down button and insert cable connected to pc.
