Can verify works with CWM.... Have to press restart to access advanced power menu... Thx for mod

TWRP *thumbs up*
I can verify this works with TWRP. Hallelujah I have my advanced power menu back AND a new ROM!

does this work on the stock rom?

Umm.....
Not to be a smart aleck...
Bud did you read the OP? If says it was tested ONLY with SkyFall DEODEX ROM, which is pretty much a stock ROM.

Isn't kid mode already removed on Skyfall by default? It appears to be gone on v.1.3 that I 'm running.

You can delete kid mode from apps...the power menu would be nice. ?

I am on stock rom, S-off and root.
I just did a Nandroid backup from CWM, flashed this in recovery, rebooted and didn't do anything. Tried a reboot...
On reboot I got nothing when I held down the power button. Did a hard reboot, checked again, normal menu popped up, no change :/
So for now restored my Nandroid, and will see if anyone has suggestions.

Flashed on my odexed Skyfall one, didn't work

Whether he read the OP or not isn't a relative point for what he wrote. He wrote it didn't work on the odexed version of SkyFall - the OP wrote that he only tested it on the deodexed version, not that it only worked on the deodexed; big difference. I actually found his post to be useful because it let me know that I can't flash it since I'm running Skyfall 1.3 odex.
tl;dr
Did YOU read the OP?

[APP] XperiaReboot

Hey!
I noticed a lot of stuff going around the forums about people not knowing how to get into recovery, so I created an application that reboots you into the recovery.
The app requires superuser permissions to execute a shell command used to reboot into the recovery.
What it basically does:
You click "Enter Recovery" and it boots you into recovery, or you click exit, and the app exits.
Do I need to do anything else (IE - do I already need to have booted into the recovery before?)
No, as long as you have a recovery installed then this app will boot you into recovery.
Download is in the attachment.
Keiran.

Am I missing something, it says it's £1.33?
Comes up on my android market as free. That's odd that it doesn't for you.
I have the apk for it but dont know if I list it here if I will get into trouble. I will email DoomLord and ask for his permission and get back to this thread either way letting ya know.

yes i did, and its not about the cache, this mod overwrites the files i think that are resposible for the 14 toggle mod and as it has its own transition effects, it overwrote the ICS ones from titanium rom, however the worst part was that when i tried to get the menu after long pressing power key to restart, it was freakishly laggy and the notification bar was also quite laggy, so i switched back to my original config, titanium 2.1 with 14 toggle mod..

[MOD] Smart Rotate and Blocking Mode icon Remover

I knocked this together for the i9300, and thought I'd add the i9305 to the list too.
Obviously I've not tested it as I don't have a 4G one yet.
Anyhow, there's two mods, one that removes the Blocking Mode icon (just the 'enabled' icon from the notification area) and also adds the Smart Rotate option into the Display config menu. The other just adds the Smart Rotate option, and leaves the Blocking Mode alone.
Original Post is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1943987, if someone test's and lets me know (you may need to do a Dalvik wipe, especially if on an Odex rom). If you then let me know when new Framework version other than XXALI9 comes out I'll keep it upto date.

Tested On DEODEXED XXALI5 and It flashes normally, I wiped Dalvik Cache, Boots up fine but there is abosolutley no change in settings. Is this because I need to be on XXALI9 ? I dont see how the Firmware versoin could be the problem they are the exact same file name and structure. One thing tho why isnt there a deodexed version of this because i have a feeling this is the problem. I checked in system/app and the file name Secsettings.apk Is still the original one no date change or size change
Flashed here over ripper rom and blocking icon shows here too

[GUIDE] [4.1] How to root and install CWM

GALAXY S II PLUS ROOTING AND CWM

PREREQUISITES:
-An I9105/P
-Odin3
-As usual, a brain
Click to collapse
NOTE:
Rooting will increase your binary counter.
ROOTING:
A) CWM (Thank you k2wl!!)
Download k2wl's CWM here.
Make sure you have Odin installed and Kies NOT running.
Boot your phone into Download mode by pressing: Vol.Down + Home + Power buttons all together.
Open Odin as an administrator.
Connect to PC using a USB cable.
Odin should show COM:X (X could be anything) on the left side which means your device is recognized.
Click on PDA and look for the file you downloaded (CWM file, should be named cwm_s2vep_k2wl.tar, or something along those lines) and choose it.
When Odin says Leave CS, press Start and wait, shouldn't take longer than 1-2 minutes.
Quick Note: This is not tested for I9105, but it theoretically should work.
B) Rooting
Download this file, and this file.
Place them both in your internal or external SD card.
Now reboot into recovery with the following combination: Vol.Up + Home + Power buttons all together.
Choose install zip from sd card, and choose external or internal, depending on where you put the root zip file in.
Flash the root zip "UPDATE-SuperSU.zip"
Flash "cwm-permanentor.zip"
Reboot
Done, you are now rooted!
UNROOTING AND REVERTING TO STOCK STATE:
Alright so, if you would like to unroot your phone and send it to warranty or sell it... Do the following.
Download Triangle Away by Chainfire from here.
Install it and use it to reset the binary counter.
Download the latest stock firmware for your device, make sure it's on the form of XX**** (e.g. XXAMC2). Non XX firmwares are fishy, and tend to brick devices sometimes. So get the latest firmware from live.samsung-updates.com. Always remember to choose the fimware with YOUR EXACT DEVICE MODEL.
Extract the .zip file from the download to attain a .tar.md5 fie.
Flash it using Odin.
After the firmware has flashed and the device reboots, delete root-related apps like Superuser (might or might not be there), and such.
Done, you are now back to stock state
We've just retired method 1 (prerooted firmwares).
Stick to the SuperSU method... easier and faster, no errors.

Do you see a COM:## sign on the left? Where ## is any number (the port in which you connected your phone). If yes then proceed normally as instructed in the OP. If not then try connectimg your phone to Kies software. It should download the S2 Plus USB drivers then. If that doesn't work try a different USB cable.
