Hi everybody. I have an xperia L with the latest official ROM 4.2.2 and when I open the phone, on the lockscreen appears a box that surrounds the screen. How can I remove that ?
I've searched an image on google to show you what I mean.. but I couldn't find.. hope that I made myself understood

Lockscreen widgets?
Yes. When I unlock the phone, for 1 second a box appears surrounding the screen, and after that disappear's.
Now I have 4.2.2 updated officialy, but when I got the phone I had 4.1.2 and this never showed up.
You can always flash the stock firmware through a ftf file and Flashtool if you can't solve the problem

Lockscreen widgets? Its normal to have lockscreen widgets. You dont have that option in 4.1.2 and thats why you didnt notice that in Lockscreen during 4.1.2. Get it??

I Would say try to Download the locksreen apk of 4.1.2 and install it i it doesnt work just revert to 4.1

-The background of walkman change color like dominant color in album
- When you see picture, in album, you can see the LED notification blink
- Liveware manager is changed with Smart Connect
I think in this new firmware, the new things are focus on LED. But the touchscreen issue is still
Lately I rooted my phone, bought nova launcher prime and installed jellybean status bar in my system/app.
Now I want to know if anyone can give me jellybean locker mod to install it on my tipo so it looks 100% jellybean–like.
Also I wanted to know which firmware is latest for tipo (single) i have 11.0.A.4.22, if this firmware is not latest then why am I not getting update?

11.0.A.4.22 is latest firmware for tipo single....for lock screen , search 'jelly bean 4.2 lock screen' on Google play....you will find it
And in security settings set screen lock to'none'

Already used holo locker but it's slow and buggy, sometimes when I turn phone it even won't show
Also will the 11.0.A.4.22 fw be last ;(?

Im on 4.1.2 and i cant find a way to change the lockscreen apps....can someone give me a hint?
Theres nothing in the lockscreen settings...

Go into settings/lockscreen/lockscreen options/shortcuts (tap on the word....NOT the on/off button). Then you can add/remove apps, in jelly been you can have 5 apps now.

Android 4.1 does not support lockscreen widgets. Only 4.2 does.

Is your 4.1.2 the official OTA update.....direct from Samsung? Or have you flashed it? It's really odd because you are missing a couple of options.....one is the Change shortcuts option.....the other is the Facebook /twitter feed on the lockscreen. Are you sure it's 4.1.2?

It's an official OTA Upgrade, but the device has some sort of T-Mobile Branding (bootanimation and apps)
could it be related to that?
i think about flashing the singapore 4.1.2 upgrade fom sammobile.com, without carrier branding....that should help, what do you think?
It really was caused by the T-Mobile Software,
i flashed a Stock Rom from France with ODIN and everythings perfect now

All german roms have no apps in lockscreen , we used to change csc to anything else to make it appear , or flash an equivalent rom from another country let's say france or UK

Hello!
I recently update my XPeria J using THIS tutorial, everything went well but I notice that when I use the stock walkman player the lockscreen music controls are gone, I can only see them if I use the notification bar without any kind of lock system. Is this normal o a bug? I'm on Jelly Bean 4.1.2 (11.2.A.0.31) locked bootloader. Is there a way to put them back or any alternatives?

Thank you for responding. I did a factory reset but the music controls keep apearing only sometimes, instead of being displayed it only shows the time and date. What else can I do?

Hi, firstly not sure whether or not I'm in the right sub forum. But since the latest 4.2.2 firmware, the calculator small apps isn't there anymore. Happened to any of u also? Any apk (of the small apps calculator) or app (with small apps of course) to recommend from playstore?

I want them back too! they were very helpful!
and now that we are talking about old apps, is it possible to install the previous keyboard? the new one is not good to me (too big, no punctuation marks at the top of the keyboard, etc).

PS: I installed the calculator, but when I tap on it, the calc doesn't start.
Here's a tip how to have them.
Download FTF of 2.17 firmware 4.1.2 Android.
Then extracted via Flashtool and you should have system.ext4. Then Install DiskInternals Linux Reader. Mount system.ext4. Go to that partition you mounted. Then /system/app and search for apk started with smallapp.
I got same problem.but after repair through SUS they are back. If someone want I can upload them.
