I am deciding on which tablet to buy and I narrowed it down to the Dell venue 8 and the Nvidia tegra note 7. I am mainly focusing on which one is better for gaming. I was wondering which processor was better the 2.0 ghz dual core or the 1.8 ghz quad core? Thanks in advance.

I can get the galaxy tab 10.1 for like $250. Its got dual core and I can ics on it. The quad core tablets are $400 plus. Is it worth it for quad core for surfing the web checking email and watching movies YouTube etc? Will things be smooth on ics like they are on quad core?
For that kind of use, it doesn't make any difference whatsoever if the CPU is dual or quad core. A bigger screen would be much more useful for you IMHO.

How has ics. Been on the tab 2 generally with the dual core? I have used it on the Toshiba excite quad core and its smooth as silk....

I am considering to purchase an Ainol Novo 7 Crystal[/URL], I searched around and I found a better choice - Ployer Momo7. Ployer Momo7, much better than Ainol Novo 7 Crystal, is featured with Rockchip 3066 Dual Core 1.6GHz CPU Quad Core Mali400 GPU, 16GB Nand Flash, Dual Camera, while Ainol Novo 7 Crystal Amlogic8726-MX Dual Core 1.5GHz, but only 8GB Nand Flash, only one front camera. Most importantly, they are in the same price range. Obviously, Ployer Momo7 is a much better choice.
Hi I'm new to tablets but have owned an Android phone for some time -
I am looking for some advice on 7" Android tablets with 1280x800 IPS screen
On my short list for now are:
Cube U21GT (4.1) 16GB -
Rockchip RK3066, 1.6GHz, Cortex A9 dual core; GPU: Mali 400 MP4 4 cores - NO Bluetooth.
PiPo U1 Pro 16GB -
Rockchip 3066 Cortex A9,1.6GHz,Dual-core CPU+Quad-core GPU Mali 400 MP4 - Bluetooth 2.1
I am also considering - because of the reputation of the AML8726-M6 compatibility with XBMC -
Ainol Novo 7 Fire 16GB (even though it is still Android 4.0.4 - can it be upgraded to 4.1?)
Dual Core AMLogic AML8726-M6 1.5GHz + GPU: Dual Core Mali 400*2 3D - Bluetooth 2.1
There other new offerings using quad-core processors but I had been advised to avoid models using the GC1000 GPU

Maximum developer suggest mac and I have a plane to go ios after android. So mac is the best choice for me. But is core i7 dual core will be wise decision for long term? I have no plan to change to the laptop before two years.
