Do you know the LED light is working?
May be its burnt or needs re soldering.
Having some issues charging my sensation. Running ARHD 3.0.3. Dont know if this problem was while on stock rom before rooting.
After flashing ARHD i charged it to full with phone on, deleted battery stats, let it drain completely and now i charged it to full with the phone off.
After a long time charging with the phone off, i turned it on to see how many % it was at. The battery was full, but the ligth was still orange when i turned it on?
So i turned the phone off again, and plugged it in the charger.
But now the light just goes orange for 2 secound, blinks orange one time, goes green for a split second, then the led goes off.
I tried to take the battery in/out, but same thing occurs. Orange/orange/green/off
Battery iss full when the phone is on, but when the phone is off the led stays off after blinking? The battery is not warm either
Took the battery out for 5 minutes, then back in , and plugged in the charger
Now its blinkin orange orange green off, orange orange green off, and it just keeps blinking this way
When i turn it on the battery is full, but its annoying it cant stay green while phone is off and battery is full when charging
Just let it sit mine did that as well and eventually stopped I think its the battery fully charging its self.
Ahh, ok, wierd..
But now it wont connect to my pc trough the usb either.
I dont get the popup option on my phone to choose charging /disk drive/ usb teether and so on It only charges. And yes, ive checked that "ask every time plugged in" option is checked
Did you flash a new kernal or you still using the stock kernal
PLS help..my phone got drained and when i plugged it in to charge.the led light keep blinking in color orange.is that normal when you charge it from completely drained battery?
what i know is that when you charge your phone it only get solid color orange light
What phone...?
Hello! Can u help me solve some trouble. So my issue is a battery percentage bug. When i plug the charger the phone led light green. Like the phone was already charged at least 90%. But when i go to 4ext recovery it show different battery status. At this time is 58% and led lights orange (charging). But when i turn off the phone led is lights green again! Whats problem? Dead battery or phone?
p.s. battery is pluged tight
p.p.s. sometimes i have cyclic shutdowns
p.p.p.s. time of to time i have extream fast battery uncharge in standby without any activity
I charge my phone with the dock on my bedside table. The LED being on all the time is annoying. I use light flow but it seems unable to control the charge state for the LED.
Anyone know if there is a way, short of rooting, to stop the battery LED.

I don't think there is way to disable charging LED,probably root will be able to
But for now,you can try to change the led colour to make it not that bright...

What do you mean? I've tried setting the brightness to minimum (and turning auto off) and it makes no difference. LED still shows while charging.
EDIT: Oh I see, you were being a wise-ass and suggesting I put the phone face down. Anyone got anything useful to contribute?
Kinda off topic but why the hell does the led turn green BEFORE its fully charged lol This is just so stupid because ive often seen the led turn green, and unplugged the charger thinking it was fully charged only to see it on 90+ %. Would be so much better if they just kept it orange and it does not turn green until it reaches 100!! Dont think you can turn it off either by the way but you can for notifications

I wrote about how I fixed this in the Z3C forum. Check it out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=55818000
Cool, thanks. That basically works.
I am using Light Flow and it seems that if you try to use absolute black (HEX Code FF000000) it doesn't work and the default charging colour overrides it.
If you use any other colour it does work so I set the charging and fully charged events to use HEX Code FF000001 (which is as good as black) and that works! It still uses the normal charging colours when the screen is on but that's not a problem.
I can finally have a dark bedroom while the phone is docked!
Can a mod mark the title with [Solved]. I think this would be helpful to a few people.

I agree 100% but that's the code in the AOSP. Cyanogenmod, slimroms etc all do it. It's just the corporate stock roms that don't, generally - this is the first one I've seen which does it.
I have absolutely no idea why it's not perfectly clear to everyone that you only want the led to go green when the charge level reaches 100%, so that you don't have to perform two checks to see if the battery is charged: one for the LED colour, and a second to see if the value is 100.
