I have a problem with my moto g and I'm a bit scared. I installed Paranoid Android following this thread
I had signal problems and I tried to solve it searching on internet. I found this thread. I installed first 355.66.00R - Retail EU (Feb 2014) Radio, but nothing happened. Then I tried to install the Retail EU 3.4.0-gc6fc9e1 (Feb 2014) Kernel for my XT1032 and after that I cannot boot any rom. I tried to reinstall the Paranoid Android Rom with Sideload of TWRP, but nothing happened (the PA symbol remains on the screen for a long time). I tried to restore stock firmware with this guide but again, the screen shows just the warning for the unlocked bootloader over and over (it turns up with that screen, then shut down and reboot with that screen)
I really hope I didn't destroy everything in there! I can still access TWRP, but I don't know what to do now!

Hi all, is it updated my Moto G Android Lollipop following the tutorial to pass the Moto G to Google Play Edition, and then wanted to go back to the original version 4.4.4 of my phone so doing I notice that after the message bootloader a line that distorts the image starting from the top to the bottom, the only way to solution I've found is blocking the phone and unlocking it, but still the problem persists appears.
Thank you very much for your attention and I hope to help.
maybe a bootloader problem...
I have the same exact error except i have the xt1032 non gpe variant. did the same thing as u did, flashed gpe 5.0.1 update and the problem first occurred when flashing twrp in 5.0.1, i tried a couple of versions of twrp but the problem kept happening, what makes me believe its a boot loader problem is that the version of the bootloader changed from 41.13 to 41.18 after the update. maybe they updated the bootloader with the 5.0.1 package, if we could flash the stock bootloader maybe that will help

if you flash from 5.0 Brazil to 4.4.4 GPE you will get that annoying line, to get rid of it just update to 5.0.1 from the phone and all will fixed.
Hello Android gurus
I tried to find the answer to my problem in the other threads, but I'm still not 100% sure if I should proceed.
. I had rooted xt1032 moto g prior to 5.0.2 OTA that came out yesterday.
I used full unroot with supersu prior to applying the OTA thinking it would be ok. I guess I screwed up, my phone is soft bricked.
I can get in stock recovery but otherwise it is on boot loop and ends up with 'no command'.
I have the moving line problem on the bootloader white screen which seems to imply a diferent version of kernel and bootloader, (which I do not full understand)
.. Which makes we wonder if it is unsafe to flash the stock rom 4.4.4 image of my phone.
And if it is safe, will I be able to update via OTA after that?
What are my options? Thanks in advance!
The moving line issue is probably due to the fact that you have the 41.18 bootloader on your phone.
I also have a Koodo xt1032 with the 41.18 bootloader and was able to flash back to stock Telus 4.4.4. Do not flash stock 4.4.2 as other XDA members have said that flashing 4.4.2 would brick your phone.
I'm checking for OTA updates but I keep getting the message that my phone's software is up to date.
I recently unlocked the bootloader and rooted my xt 1033, but I'm facing a lot of issues after that.
As you can see in the attached screen shot my device is no more compatible with Motorola boot services.
Since Motorola started rolling android 5.1 update but I'm not getting any notification to update my device.
I used the twrp recovery but when I go to the recovery menu the screen starts bouncing with many lines on screen.
Please help me in fixing these issues
I think your issue is with custom recovery.
motorola official update only works on stock recovery.
can you guide me how to revert back to stock recovery please?
I rooted my moto maxx(i live in india and its called moto turbo xt1225) last july, i just got the 6.0.1 ota update, while trying to install it, i first flashed stock 5.0.2 with rsd lite and then installed the update.
But afterwards when i installed the super su zip file v2.46(i didnt know at that time that you need v2.65+ for MM), my phone kept hanging up and wouldnt turn on.
So i restored a twrp backup from march but now everytime i reboot, the phone loads into the bootloader and so, offline charging is also not working. And rsd lite fails everytime at step 3(of 20).
Even installing a custom rom doesnt help.
Any help will really be appriciated plss.
Helpp
Someone plese help.
I unlocked the bootloader and rooted it I change the stock os to Cyanogen Android 6.0. The os shows some problem then i flash the twrp stock moto 5.0

All done now it's bootloader is unlocked but it says device is not rooted. Now it's getting it's update of security. Should I install the update. It's annoying it's always pop of. I really wanna rid of it. Please anyone help me. Should I install the update. Does the present bootloader allow me install or my mobile shows problem. Reply please....... Moto g xt1068
Cyanogen is no more updated I believe.
It is time to switch to the best Lineage OS 14.1 ROM.
Follow tutorial here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/guide-tutorial-motorola-moto-g-4g-to-t3516234
You'll have OTA updates .... and unleashed Moto G 4G (if not 4G, use specific ROM, Kernel and TWRP) but steps are the same.

The device is old but my Moto G 4G with LOS 16 and BitGApps is decent.
