Liquid Smooth 4.2.2 v2.8 was a daily driver with nearly zero faults (ir blaster wasn't working, but I didn't try any other kernels) on S4.
LS 4.4.2 was fairly buggy a month ago or so, just like any other 4.4.2 aosp rom (since most of them are based on CM anyway.)
Did they ever get to squash all of the bugs in the LS 4.4.2?

I'm testing a build from a few days ago and it's really solid. Latest build is fully functional minus the camera, which I believe isn't because of an issue, but because data took priority over camera as is to be expected, and is being addressed as we speak.
I can assure you they're hard at work constantly, but I'm not at liberty to provide an ETA for an initial stable build, so please don't ask. All I can say is that progress is faster than I anticipated, and AOSP, let alone LS is amazing on this device. Anything else, I'll say what I can so they can focus on developing further.
Has anyone tested the 4/16 Nightly?
EDIT: I tried to flash with TWRP 2.7.0.2 and get a Updater Script error, is it only working on CWM?
Can anyone answer my above question?

I am not new to custom roms. But I don't understand and always avoid using "nightly" builds. I try to get "stable" roms or the newest builds of roms that say neither. I am afraid of tons of bugs compared to other roms. Is that unfounded? What is a nightly vs other types of builds?
Thanks.
Edit: Is there someone who installs nightlies out there who could describe what your experiences have been with them? Compared to stable builds. Thanks.

This question is relevant, read the answers: http://programmers.stackexchange.com/questions/56490/what-does-nightly-builds-mean
They may/may not be stable, but have the latest changes in them.
Stay away from nightlies unless you have the patience to deal with things not working & having to flash every now & then.
I used to use cyanogenmod7 nightlies versions on my olders phones. No issues at all, I thought it stable but may have a little issue or other.
Which nighly are you looking for?

If my definition if correct, it's one that is still being worked on. Not like a regular one with a few bugs. This is like a build before they would announce it a beta or release candidate.
Kinda like an underground build for only the advanced. And flash them at your own risk and be aware that they could brick your phone as they are not officially supported.

Simple, a Nightly is a Rom that is worked and updated by a robot (not a real robot, a computer that acts with some intelligence to work) and I think that it's called nightly because in the past, devs use the computer of his daily use at night and the next morning a new Rom was ready to test wth

Hello, I am not responsible for your device. If it bricks it is because of you and not me. I am in no way responsible for what you do.
Secondly, these are Droid-Hive Exclusive Download Links. Do not REPOST the download links on other sites. You can direct back here. If I see someone copys the download link somewhere else I will shut down the Nexus 7 nightlies.
Instructions:
Download from here: http://droid-hive.com/index.php?/topic/1474-roms-unofficial-nightlies-for-grouper/
install in recovery.
wipe if need be
reboot.
Finally have fun and spread the word. I will try to add ROMs that you request. I am mainly over at DH tho but I will do my best to maintain this over here.
These are all untested builds. I currently don't own a Nexus 7 but I received a lot of interest from Users in my galaxy nexus thread about bringing this to the Nexus 7.
All the credits go to the Developers of each respective ROM. I take no credit for the ROMs themselve just for building them and hosting them for your convenience. I will do my best to update these ROMs at a fast pace for all the crack flashers. Thank you again for your understanding of what this thread is and have a nice day.

User error.
Edit: allow me to elaborate.
1. You seem to only call it buggy and useless never asking what you could do to fix it or if anyone else is experiencing the same issues. You are a troll in the purest form and attacking developers hard work is idiotic.
2. You have in no way shown me that you have even the slightest competency in these forums so your merit is in question.
3. Now that the call audio bug is fixed the only thing I can think of that's left is mhl support and this could hit stable. If cm endorses a build as official that means a certain criteria must be met and verified its not a title cm will allow you to slap onto your average build.

Is VoIP a native feature of the 727 because if it wasn't then its not required.

I would definitely help with a port, but I don't think a boot.img tweak would be everything.
I know the VZW version has a separate hotspot app.

I am not sure but maybe you can just change the boot.img file and it may work...let me know if you do try or if you wouldn't mind helping me test a VZW version.
------
Once I can get the settings package to compile properly I can debloat more. I may write a small app for some hidden tweaks or just use my time to get AOSP/CM going.

I disagree, but to each their own. Aosp is extremely boring and bland. I know this sounds crazy, but I would rather have an iPhone than straight aosp.
And I've never owned an iPhone in my life. That shows how much I dislike aosp lol.

I would definitely help with a port, but I don't think a boot.img tweak would be everything.
I know the VZW version has a separate hotspot app.
Perhaps Scrolsler could provide input.

Thanks. My buddy just picked up the VZW version so I will see what I can do...
Best rom for G2 in my opinion!

Keyboards were able to be deodexed. It was just the Email app and the weather stuff that gave me problems dedoxing them...

@AndroidUser00110001 - can you confirm which email client is in your ROM: LG Email or Stock (AOSP)? thanks in advance for your reply.

AOSP. The LG client wouldn't deodex properly so I used AOSP.
Is it working as it should?
