We know that there are too many flappy bird clones all around, but there are none like this one i bring us today.
If you ever played Flappy Bird before, you will be able to understand about the success of this kind of games wich have too much to offer in the player's experience side.
Jorge Castillo Pérez, a spanish Android developer has been inspired by the well-known title to create a new revamped version of it, but this time with a brand new history. In Sleepy Monster, we will be able to play as a little monster wich seems to be lost in the dream world, where he will find a lot of new challenges to pass.
An icy landscape with a night full of stars will make Sleepy Monster become a very addictive game wich that we can enjoy on our free times, here and there.
This title offers to the player a lot of new features and plenty of old old but interesting features too. Some examples about this are the following ones:
Online rankings managed by Google Play Games.
Online achievement system managed by Google Play Games.
Brand new life system.
Brand new potion system with different effects, like the posibility of killing enemies to get points or the capability of dragging the monster around the game screen.
Brand new charging jump system.
The previous ones were just a few of plenty of new features you will be able to enjoy in Sleepy Monster.
You can download it @ PLay Store by writting "Sleepy Monster" or "sleepymonster". It's an app with a little white monster with a big tongue into a sky squared blue icon. I am sorry i cant give you the link but i am new on this forum. I hope you can find it without any problem.
All the feedback you can send to me will be very useful.
I am attachning a zip with some screenshots to this post.
Please, enjoy, and thanks for your time!

great game
You've made a great game. I was surprised when I realized it was actually an indie game, cause it looks very professional. Yet I think you could have made sound effects better. Anyways, if you plan on making more games, especially flash games, plz contact me I would love to publish it and make a review on my monkey games portal monkeygamesworld.com. Also I might be interested in sponsorship. good job!

Thanks for the review and I'm glad you enjoy the game! Nice to see a website dedicated to monkey games
The sound effects was made from whatever I could record/mix myself combined with free stuff from the internet, unfortunately I never had any budget to spend on it. The game was made so it also should be playable on some low end phones when it was first released in 2013. Playing too many low compressed sound effects with music at the same time was a performance issue on some devices back then, perhaps not such a big issue any more.
Cheers!
Great game !!! Very good idea and very playable.
But I notice an issue when I press on back button on device, there show up popup "Do you really want to quit?" , next press home button , and next back to the game , there are two visible popups and one of them I can't hide. Sorry for my english

Ah! Thank you for pointing that out! It is now fixed and it will be included in the next update for Android.
Good Day folks here at XDA Devs!
Today Im here to kind of show our first released game: Apollo Fights Back!
We are a little 2-man group named Black Wing Games, which developed said game in our free time. The game is a Runner-style Arcade piece where the goal is to set a highscore and build a Spaceship by buying the parts one by one.
As extras, we added Shooting Zombies and a few other Space-like events (say, Meteor Showers and Aliens for instance), which actually make the game feel more lively Also, the addition of a specific goal makes it stand out from the many other simple runners .
I'll not stall you with my talk, so let's run a video wich will explain most of the basics:
Hope you enjoy it and if possible, review it Thanks!

Bump ^^
Reminds me of Nintendo games back in 90s+flappy bird physics . Not bad for the first time I believe, taking into account the fact that the game was developed during your free time.
The most important part here is that the game has an idea in the ground. Good start!
Hello, I recently published my first android game at google play, and would realy like some feedback. Just try it and share your thoughts.
I have a big experience in gamedev, but all my games exist only as Starcraft 2 mods. For example, I created a pretty popular Mines and Magic mod there.
So, there's the google play link to Hallo Spaceboy Lite:
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Zolden.hallo_spaceboy_lite
Go, check screenshots there.
It is vertical Shoot'em up genre. But it has some featuresm that make it unique and fun (I hope)
- very balanced gameplay, it's challenging, but not too hard, must be fun to complete levels
- physics involved, so you can collide with stuff, and it feels real
- interesting story
- music is heavily correlate with the story, and translates emotions that present in the dialogs between characters
So, dudes, hope you check it out, I realy need some feedback, cause I have huge plans on further games, and want to feel, what audience appreciates. Thanks in advance.
Hi everyone,
I've recently launched my first game on the Play Store. It can be found on the Play Store here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.PenguinEggshell.TapColor
How to play:
Tap on the first item of the first row
You get extra time based on your progression
The difficulty is dynamic - based on your way of playing
Earn in-game currency by reaching milestones
Unlock over 50 achievements
Compare your score to your friends or globally in the leaderboard
Switch through 4 unique themes (more coming soon)
I know it's probably not something "hard" to do but it's my first game and I'm feeling awfully proud about it.
Give it a go, let me know what you think about it!
Thanks!
Nice, seems to be pretty cool, played it a bit and it's fun
very cool and catchy (play with moderation)
This game didn't seem much at first, but became catchy as soon as I started playing.
Thanks to all the comments.
I've started working on the code to support 2.0+ - an update will come soon
2018 has been a great years of mobile games, especially for fighting genre. I have recently come across some ninja similar-looking games which have the same genre on Android.
When I type the key words “Ninja Shadow”, these are so similar that i had to try all of these and they are quite similar in gameplay.
However, after a while, some get really boring. Here are some of my personal opinion and ranking, hope if you have any interested in those games , you might find it useful and are able to choose the right game for you.
3. So stand in number 3 is the game called: “Shadow of Death”
At first impression, the sound effect is absolutely amazing with cool soundtrack. The gameplay is very simple but I found it quite boring from the start because of the “frozen” enemies.
When you move you cannot fight and in return.
However the skills are quite nice with cool effect come afterwards
2. In number 2 I have “Stickman Legends”
So this game is quite popular already. It has good music, nice characters, epic skills
However it can not pleased me due to the fight itself. It confused me somehow due to the creeps, they just all over the place and I can not see with my eyes where I am and how my skills go.
It is quite a pity.
1. In the first place in my list is “Overdrive: Ninja Shadow Revenge”
This game is not popular yet I suddenly found it and tried it. It also has good soundtrack, nice characters, epic skills as well. However the pace is not so fast and you got to see what you are actually fight with.
It’s just that the game is quite hard but I like challenge you know.
Comment your opinion for me. Thanks
