I am sure many have noticed that since the leaked 3.24 ROMs, the interface has been somewhat of a mixture between HTC Green & ICS Blue. I have noticied that many of the .png in the Framework-res.apk in the newer ROMs have "holo" in their names (for example "btn_check_on_focused_holo_dark"). So I checked for the same files in 3.12 ROMs, & the same file is present, but is in HTC Green instead of ICS Blue as found in 3.24/25 ROMs.
So, I tried copying ALL .png images from 3.12 "framework-res.apk\res\drawable-hdpi\" to 3.25.
The problem is, my Sensation is away for repair due to random reboots (hardware related) so I am not able to test this! So for anyone who would like to test, it is attached, made with stock battery percentage with UOT kitchen.
Now this a TEST. I did NOT test it! make sure to backup first! Best "failsafe" mode, is to have any flashable battery mod for your ROM ready to be flashed back in case this does not work.
Edit: I made one more "framework-res.apk" with the HTC Green colors attached to OP, but without the battery mods. (this is the apk only, NOT flashable) for anyone who wants to use for their own customizations!
Edit2: [31Jan] Added modded IC 4.4.8 Framework-res.apk - (Flashable through recovery). Note that the one with percentage "%" also has ICS animation. These are the two framework-res.apk that are included with Incertcoin 4.4.8 update. I just added the .png with the Green Holo from the older 3.12.

Yes. It is flashable through recovery. Should work on any 3.24/3.25 based ROM.
Note: I also made one more "framework-res.apk" with the HTC Green colors attached to OP, but without the battery mod. (this is the apk only, NOT flashable) for anyone who wants to use for their own customizations!

The bottom button that's pressed is green instead of blue basically.
this needs updating for the framework-res.apk with Advanced Power Menu because it currently breaks the APM

Hey guys.
I may not be well known around here, but I have helped out a good many people by adding screenshots, helps and sme other stuff.
While searching around XDA-Devs, I found that although HTC Explorer has recieved a positive reponse and has had many ROMs created (JaggyRom) and some ported (CM9), not many people created themes and MODs.
So, I decided to create this thread for you Explorers to post your MODs. CyanogenMod compatible are much appreciated.
So.
The MODs can be of any type:
UOT Kitchened
Decompiled and Recompiled
and other advanced things that I am too lazy too mention......
All you have to do is to present the .zip, post a few screenies and hey, presto!
YOUR DONE.
Just be original.
And please, dont spam.
Dont say things like:
"Hey that sux"
or
"Oh thats dumb"

OK. I modded the systemui for different icons. The battery, signal and wifi among others. I tried to mod the Smileys like ,you know. Some blue thing. That didn't work.
Note : since I am on AOKP, my status bar is semi transparent.

Sometimes there could be flashing error, you should do always a nandroid backup before or at least an advanced system backup (cause theese the change system and framework-res apps!!)
The easer solution is to teflash Rom (before without wipe data if there's something u don't want to loose; if still loop then wipe data too!)
Viper could be esaely fix from aroma installer choosing the option "restore"!

I meant the toast notification of android Rom! Should be android related and not third app matter! That one that warn about suoersu permission for example

First I had a bad flash, but after a nandroid restore and a second try all works fine. Thanks for the fixes

I am using Xperia,its really clean.
Also if you like sense,then you may try Sense 5 theme as well.Its clean too.

i just found modded theme chooser to install any hdpi theme on our pico
RE-MOD HDPI/XHDPI ThemeChooser Template
tested on cm10 b6 : works
tested on cm10.1 b7 : not works.it gives system ui FC
Alternate way to get hdpi theme works on mdpi
first make a backup of build.prop ,and store it somwhere safe
open build.prop and change this line : ro.sf.lcd_density = 160 to ro.sf.lcd_density = 130 and then reboot,now go to theme and apply desired theme
then revert back your change.reboot
now

You can try Holo White.

@Aswin08 have you tried the Sense 5 theme on 4.3 for our pico.... I have tried both Sense 5 and Ubuntu from that thread and they gets applied correctly and does look very beautiful. But, when I restart the pico it goes into bootloop. I have tried it on different 4.3 builds. It only happens after installing any of these 2 themes. Weired

Are you using any mod to like hdpi to mdpi? Now I am on slimbean and still the same issue with this theme for me.... can you pls share the theme apk u r using?

Hi beyored, theme is really nice but I don't like the icons part alone can you use the system icons for the same and give us a zip ha!!!

Go into venum hub download and apply sense 5 icon pack......
i loved this theme of yours... good to see others liking it too

Edit : when I click on dropbox link there is nothing

UPDATE.....fixed oversized buttons in settings/apps menu....
Edit.....anybody like this color font through the system with a touch of white.....
About font color, it seems to be little bit more blue than only grey ?
Or is it an effect made by the black background wallpaper ?
