Is it just mine or is the speaker at about 50% down hard to hear? I can barely hear mine at 50% volume.

I'm from Brazil. Updated to kitkat with this method and flashed this zip with cwm to gain root access. Try it if you want!

Anyone has idea how to root LG-D838? and Flash the CWM recovery into it?

You need root first and loki has been patched so no cwm ... There will need a new exploit for both or maybe safestrap may work but very few have these phones as of yet .... maybe when they release to rest of the world it may get more love

The IOroot 25 is not working properly on LG G Pro 2 D838 (Taiwan edition).
It failed during recovery procedure.

@jc042982 aww.....to bad.....don't have the device myself yet...so couldn't test

Huh..not big deal, Thanks for your information...at least this phone is too new, there is not many resources support it.

Hi guys if you didn't know already there's a easyyy way to root the lg g pro 2 I did this on my 16gb version, simply go download Towelroot! Its that simple you might be thinking no way but give it a go you'll be pleasantly surprised!!

How about if you change it back to default then follow the instructions and when all is done put it back to open. Don't know if it will work though
