After playing around with the source tree for ville, I managed to get a mostly working AOKP JB build. This is an unofficial build, as AOKP has yet to support the One S in JellyBean. Again, this build is UNOFFICIAL, so don't bother going to AOKP for support.

Great, will we get it officially as well?

AOKP doesn't use Trebuchet. It uses Launcher2. If you wan't customizability, AOKP includes Nova Launcher for you to use.

I think WiFi calling support can't be enabled in any aosp based ROM because it requires the sense framework.

This isn't entirely true. The Sense framework does come into play but in comparison to everything required.. One would be surprised how little is in the sense framework in regards to SIP. Wi-Fi calling is something I've been personally working on when time permits (busy time of year for me) and progression is being made. I was working on the EU Sense patch but put all that on hold considering TMo is aiming to push JB (hopefully) soon.. and the patch would be redundant.
Nice upload, Klin. Might give this one a whirl myself. Feel free to use the FTP for this too, seems worthy enough.

Yes, it is best to do a full wipe.
Aokp is based on cyanogen, and offers much more customization and tweaks (in ICS at least). Even though this is only build 1 there are a fair amount of customizable settings already.

Wow I like it, thank you very much
But one question, how is it possible to get the recent apps function back onto the third capacitive button.
Futhermore, metric units are not working in the built-in weather app.

Question: Why am I having issues charging the relay?
Answer: As having this issue myself a few time is seems flashing my latest B14CKB1RD kernel fixes the issue
Currently v4a is untested on 4.4.4...will add new guide soon once i can confirm what works
Works f... Awesome... The best ROM far away, personalization level its the best. And the speed and performance its awesome. Thanks a lot for this rom. Greats io schedulers. Zen mod it's great.

Just got this all setup ... So far, great ROM! So much customization including GPU clock .. Will be giving this one a solid go this week.
Wow, great to see another rom, thanks!
I'm currently testing it, the first thing I ran into is the keyboard layout. The special keys don't work, I had to enter @ with onscreen keyboard.I'll report more after few days.
I noticed another issue last night as well....new kernel is having some issues...will update the ROM with other kernel I've used in all my other ROMs as that is more stable
Sent from my SGH-T699 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
i have no problem right now entering @ ..
you might have to hold down alt + special key at the same time, has always been this way in browser.
i had a couple spots of lag last night- i think the governer clocked it down cuz only 9% battery at the time, but so far today this thing is champ, in and out of clash of clans no issues.. phone email text.. 46% battery right now after just about 8 hours of heavy use.. lots of phone calls and emails today.
and this thing runs fast!

i am building an update now with stable kernel known for being in all my other roms but i manually added the new i/o schedulers into it...will give it a run and see if it fixes the kernel issues like the battery drain me and @falle21 were experiencing....and yes it does run amazing and to be honest...fits what i need in a rom to a tee and has replaced Carbon as a daily rom for me
rom updated...should all be golden now
Dirty flash and everything seems to work fine. I can say if battery drain its solved in a few hours
Sent from my SGH-T699 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Wow, what a great ROM! I really love the DPI and all the tweaks included like pocket mode, notifications shown on lockscreen etc.
I know already what I have done wrong with the @ sign at keyboard, I was used to have the voice search button mapped as ALT, but it didn't work, my bad, sorry. I compared the keyboard mapping files, but I didn't find any clues. Would it be very hard to include the special keys mapping into settings? It's cool to have an ALT key on right, there are a few keys on relay that could have better purpose.
But the best news I have is that the glitchy audio playback is gone! :good: This is the first time I was able to listen to mp3 for a longer time than just 5 minutes. It's definitely something kernel/cpu related, I didn't change anything in the performance settings and the audio playback is fine out of the box.

Leave the performance settings alone after flash...the ROM automatically changes governors and schedulers to correspond to the speed and battery life it needs. For example when using a game it auto changes the performance for best game use...when not in use it goes to power save mode....as for battery life I'm doing pretty good...better than some of my other ROMs that's for sure

nvm after rebooting recovery external sd card shows the zip files
an update for those that would like to know... just built my soon to be released custom kernel with a total of 24 Governors and a total of 11 I/O schedulers..all tested and all work great. I've also managed great battery life and performance with one of the ones i added and only lose 1 percent of battery in 3 hours....may build a flashable soon but will include it in all future rom updates. currently im working on the alt key issue and thanks @sorgo with the git request as im looking into it...for me ive noticed only the .com alt function doesnt work but all else does
Looking forward to it!
I'm still on the orig. flash of this one with battery drain but, still gets me through the day. 16hour30mins at 6% left. bluetooth on, wifi on and off with juice defender controlling it. played some clash, had quite a bit of talk time, remoted into my computer using pocketcloud.

That's just a proposal for you to include in the ROM. The left ALT key works fine, what I wrote at first that @ was not functional was wrong. I just got used to use the VOICE SEARCH button as ALT (I think we all did not get a qwerty phone to use the voice search, did we? ). So the pull request is only about few keyboard tweaks I find very useful.
I was not able to find the reason why ".com" doesn't work. It's configured properly as alt: '\uEF03', also on other phones, probably the problem is somewhere else, not in the config.

Wow.
Be interesting if you could supply a flashable if this is available for public consumption. Will it potentially work on omni or fattoad?
Be nice to see how your kernel behaves.

Awesome, that's great.
Thanks for the great rom! I've been using this rom for 2 days now, and still seems to be working great!
I will post if there's any bugs I see.
Maybe it's just my device but it every rom I've tried (since running the dual boot CM 10.1 as a daily) I experience a bug where the device will just power off - typically when I try using Google Now or using any media apps Plex, Netflix, etc. Has anyone else experienced this?

New RC-1 was put in the BasketBuild today, may help..
Looking good on nook HD+.
For some reason, long press on Back button does not kill app. I do have option checked in Dev options. And seems to have lost the left and right arrow keys in status bar.
Also, coming from cm11 I miss having long press on Recents to switch to last app. Very useful.
But other than that, so far so good
EDIT: oops, I found it. Settings > Buttons > Buttons and Layout under Navigation Bar heading. Customize to heart's content. Awesome!

Can someone confirm this?
With left right arrow keys enabled for keyboards, the right arrow is at the right edge, but the left arrow is next to the close keyboard button rather than at the left edge per usual. It looks odd.
This happens with the ASOP keyboard, Google keyboard, and nextapp keyboard, so I don't think it is keyboard specific.
Hmm, I just notice the arrow keys do not auto repeat when held down. In other words, if I want to move left ten spaces, I have to tap the left arrow key ten times. Is this normal behavior?
My nook just froze and rebooted a few minutes later.
There was no apps running since i always close apps on recent apps.
It was the first freeze, and yesterday i had to reboot it when the touch screen went crazy as the other roms. Other than these problems, this rom is pretty stable.

Thanks OP, Just flashed the new TWRP and then this. My nook is actually booting up on the first try now! I had pretty much given up on it about a year ago, but can't get chromecast mirror to work on my old smartphone so I thought I would give this a shot Looking good so far!

I have not seen anyone else mention this, but I have this issue as well. What I do is this:
1. Turn off screen lock completely in settings
2. If screen goes in to "lock loop" when waking from inactive, simply hold the power for ~2 seconds and tap the screen (anywhere) and you will be in your home screen
Very simple work around but I would like to see this fixed as well. Please submit a bug report (Submit a bug), they will likely ask you for the logcat, I will be doing the same. This will ensure that if possible, this issue will be fixed.

Thanks OP, Just flashed the new TWRP and then this. My nook is actually booting up on the first try now! I had pretty much given up on it about a year ago, but can't get chromecast mirror to work on my old smartphone so I thought I would give this a shot Looking good so far!

Sweet! Glad things worked! Yeah, I've had this on my Nook HD+ for a few weeks and it's way bad-ass imo! Is there anyway you can post a link to the TWRP that worked for you? I have the CWM one that worked for me in my post, but some prefer TWRP.

Yes, I have noticed this as well but didn't think it mattered whatsoever (just me). As long as it's completely functional I'm happy, but what I would recommend is submitting a bug report (Submit a bug). I think on the OS developer side of PAC-man Team, they would want this fixed too.

I used this one, just flashed the zip and restarted. Assumes you already have the old one where you have to use the buttons for controll (new one is touchscreen).

I just realized I can no longer connect to my nook over USB, I tried enabling MTP and no dice that way either. Windows 7 64 bit is saying the driver isn't installed correctly. But I thought it was just a standard USB driver so I'm not sure whats up with it.
Not to sway others from this rom, this may have been an issue before I installed it.
Bad cable?
edit: actually I tried on another PC with same cable, it installed one driver fine, then another with the same name and gave me bad driver as well for the second one. However I am able to access the Nook HD from the other computer despite the bad driver issue.

I cannot get the MirrorEnabler for chromecast to work with this rom either. The post here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/har...experimental-enable-mirroring-device-t2812193
Says I need to
"For those STILL having issues,
Check /system/lib/hw directory for the file "audio.r_submix.default.so".
If it doesn't exist, ask your device maintainer to add audio.r_submix.default to
the product_packages in the device.mk file. (You may not know what it means, but they will.)
EXAMPLE (Thanks, @runandhide05!):
http://review.teameos.org/#/c/389/"
Is this possible to get on the nook HD plus? Not that it matters since prime instant video doe snot seem to be supported for this device either.
Prime Instant video works ok with RC1 0923 on my hd+ x32

Just so happens I hosed my windows 7 64 bit installation and had to do a fresh reinstall. Win7 did not recognize the broadcom ethernet so I downloaded the driver to my nook HD+ and loaded it to the PC via the USB cable, no problem.
Does anyone have problem with screen flashing if you use it while charging? I know turning off hardware overlay fixes this but it slows down screen drawing. Interestingly if I run an app called LAS (last active app) the flashing goes away. I think it's because it draws a small button over the screen and somehow that does the same thing as disabling overlay. The convenient thing about LAS is you can toggle it through the notification drawer.

Going to flash it and test it right away. Btw, why don 't you fix keyboard fc by disabling gesture typing as gshr did with cm 13 / aosp mm:
AOSP keyboard does not support gesture typing even with gapps installed. This is to prevent crash with not fully compatible gapps packages. If you want gesture typing, install Google Keyboard from the Play Store.
PS: You missed one '1' in thread title.
PS2: Download link is broken.

Well before I flash GAPPS of slim doesn't give me any problems, might i didn't use the updated tree (i use the tree updated to 6 december), will fixed after update RR
SD card doesn't work as internal, settings fc.
Storage permissions still not fixed.
Anyway these bugs are not fixed for our phone yet.
No crashes yet, looks like this rom works great. I'm still testing.
You should add:
widget settings for clock
unlink ring and notification volume
sound menu in power menu
Btw, i have no black background.

I don't need to use it as internal cause i don't install so many apps. Looks like after a reboot my background went black, it's still on the issue list. Also i can download with chrome now, didn't do anything other than reboot. Trying xposed right now.

same thing with me I use just a couple of apps, by the way I rebuild the apk of trebuchet launcher with the latest tree and looks like solve many issues starting from background appear the stock one of the rom :good: for fixed browser, I'll compile a patched webview this night then reupload the rom.
App icons doesn't change with theme changer, maybe it's related with trebuchet launcher and you fix it already. Couldn't find anything related to this in logcat.
I would know some informations about battery. Thanks in advance

Looks good, thanks man!
When i'm trying to turn wifi on, i get this error in logcat and it doesn't turn on. If i recall right, it happened aswell on cm 13. After a reboot or two it works fine.
I also have a problem when i get called. It stops ringing when the sound file reach to the end, it doesn't start again. I saw in cm 13 thread that someone else has the same issue so i guess is a mm/cm13 issue. Still waiting for a new build.
All works fine

Nice and understuffed..good job dev

It is un- official??
In my opinion is almost the perfect ROM ,clean, with few but important features and OTA ,but I also find 2 problems already
1. MIUI camera doesn't have portrait mode (even in MIUI RN4 got portrait mode)
2. No option to change the LED COLOR.Even the white one is not working.I know this ROM may be universal ,but...I think it should get coloured led option
Excepting this 2 it's a great ROM

gapps are not included in most of the roms.
micro g is an alternative for google play services which doesn't steal data like google and uses bare minimum amount of ram and battery. For more information google microg.

there is an option to use google play store if you flash microg through nanodroid microg package.
you can't sync sms and calls but contacts syncing work if you choose it in nanodroid setup wizard.

this rom is nice but may i request the heads up notification disabler? Can't seem to find it anywhere in the setting. Thank you!
Decided to give MicroG another go, previously with different ROM's always had some issues.
Surprisingly everything works great, including location backend (Apple Wi-Fi backend works for me from f-droid, DejaVu and Mozilla's doesn't), even SafetyNet passes with Magisk installed which is very surprising (it took me awhile to figure it out, basically this custom DroidGuard helper is required - https://github.com/microg/android_packages_apps_GmsCore/issues/526#issuecomment-455047320 , has to be installed manually in /system/priv-app/DroidGuard/)
Even my banking app works perfectly which is even more shocking as i dont have any Google Apps or Services running except fake Google Play lol, good job.
mirrors down. could you fix that? i'd really like to test this rom/project
Fixed :good:
Miui camera port this ROM??
