Hello,
In my car I have built in bluetooth headset that's include a2dp and when I get a call it's take over the playing media and I want it to be the same with the navigation directions and I tried apps like BTmono and SoundAbout and it's activate a call but I hear nothing.
I have HTC One X with CyanogenMod 11 kitkat 4.2.2
Thanks a lot
Do you have the HTC One X (Endeavoru) or the HTC One XL / at&t One X (Evita)?

I have the one X (not at&t)
You're in the wrong forum then, this is the Evita forum.

I bought a blubridge mini-jack Bluetooth adapter for my vehicle since it does not have Bluetooth. I can get the One X to recognize the Bluetooth (TX2) but each time it says it can't communicate with the device. I have successfully paired my phone in my wife's car with its built in Bluetooth (Mazda cx-9) w no problems..I've heard of Bluetooth issues with the HOX but not sure if its my phone or the adapter..it has decent reviews and haven't heard of issues...
Thanks in advance if anyone has info to share..

Edit: must be the Bluetooth device...tried it on my old vivid and it won't recognize it either..may be a bad unit but still feel its something with the phone.

I just remembered reading about how the HTC one x had a hidden feature which allowed Bluetooth headsets to act as remote camera shutters and decided to try it. It is supposed to be slightly different button combos depending on your headset. Just open your camera app with your headset paired and then play with button combos to see what works.
My Jawbone Icon uses a double tap of the primary button (which also is "re-dial") to activate my shutter. Pretty neat! Post what button combos you used for your headsets

I remember reading this too. I wonder why such a great feature is hidden?

My guess is that you're not using the sense camera .apk if you're running 4.2.1. This sounds like it's a feature of the factory camera app, and not the vanilla one.

Jabra Extreme 2 works with double tap, but only if you are only connected to the HOX (supports 2 devices simultaneously). This is kinda cool.

I was wondering if anyone else was having a similar issue with Bluetooth headsets during phone calls being super quiet. I found various articles suggesting volume booster apps or the DSP manager but those don't help. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds fine on my creative labs 300 bt headphones. both calls and music.
After testing several different headsets it turns out that my headset was just getting old and wearing out apparently. However I have sense switched to a different ROM.
