Hi everyone, thanks for reading my post.
im hving this problem : my Xperia S is bricked
Its started after i finished updating it to JB. It was a succesfull but the phone wont boot up. the phone have the backlight but the sony logo didnt came out. it was about 1 minute(i think) before it die(off).
ive tried all of the tutorial i found(all in xda forum n some of googled) and some ways that others find it usefull but not for me. ive tried flashing stock roms, tried flashing different kernel, hard reset, rubber band trick. it just not working.
this is how my phone now ;
1. if i press the power button(no matter how long), nothing happens.
2. if i connect it to wall charger, red solid LED will keep lighting(hope u understand my word), about 5 minutes, it will turn on itself and will stuck at backlight without the sony logo. then, die again. and will hv red LED again. this cycle will just continue.
3. if i connect it to pc, pc wont recognised the phone and the same thing willl happen(a cycle like in number 2)
4. when the backlight(without sony logo that will never came out) is lighting, i can do soft reset and hard reset.
5. if i do soft reset, the phone will restart automatically just after i release the power button after 1 buzz. and it will be in backlighting again untill it dies(off)
6. if i do hard reset, the phone will be off. (hard reset situation continue for number 7 and 8)
7. if i press the power button(after hard reset) it will be in backlighting again untill it dies(off)
8. in this situation, i can connect it to pc in either flashmode or fastboot mode. pc can recognize my phone and i can do flashing anything through flashmode and fastboot mode.
9. but after flashed some stock rom, the phone will be like mentioned in number 5.
10. i failed to flash custom kernel because the phone is not rooted.

my questions ;
1. i can flash other ftf roms( ics n jb), but i dont know either i really success flashing or no, please do check the flashtool log i attached. so, did i really success flashing?
2. can i root the phone in either flashmode or fastboot mode?
3. whats else cn i try to make my xperia s lt26i worked again?

Are you clearing caches and data when using the flashtool? And how did you update to JB?

my uncle has xperia sp.... it was also bricked and even worse as you told....
NOW READ CAREFULLY-
1. AS YOU SAID YOU HAVE UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER BUT NO ROOT.... DOESN'T MATTER.
JUST FLASH ANDROID 4.1.2 IN YOUR SP. ( you will still be having problems as you told in point 5, okay)
2. FLASHING THIS OLD BUT STOCK VERSION WILL LET YOUR DEVICE TO GET A LATEST UPDATE THROUGH OFFICIAL SONY
SOFTWARE. ( it will automatically fix all errors as per my xperience) IF 4.1.2 IS LATEST THEN FLASH 4.0.4. YOUR DEVICE HAS TO GET ANY OFFICIAL FIRMWARE FROM OFFICIAL SONY SOFTWARE TO FIX PROBLEMS..
3. NEVER FLASH CUSTOM ROMS AS THEY ALWAYS HAVE SOME PROBLEMS.... EITHER THE CUSTOM ROM WOULD BE THE BEST THAN OFFICIAL SONY OR WORST THAN THAT..... SO IT IS BETTER TO TAKE PRECAUTIONS AND HAVE STOCK ROM WITH UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER AND ROOT.
4. NOW YOU MUST NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL... IF STILL THERE WHICH SHOULD NOT HAPPEN.... EMAIL ME AT [email protected] OR MSG ON XDA..
BY THE WAY I HAVE XPERIA Z AND WITH UNLOCKED BL AND ROOT ON ANDROID 4.3... DON'T TAKE ME TO BE A MANIAC JUST POSTING AROUND IDIOTIC STUFF... JUST CONTACT ME...

hi, I'm stuck in a boot loop of xperia neo v,
i can't find where to put my post, please forgive me for if my post is not in appropriate location, i need help
what happened is as following...
it was workin good on firmware 4.0.3 (unrooted) i tried to root it but it didn't root with auto software, it's bootloader is unlocked.
so i used a guide to manually root it, but as soon as i entered in fastboot mode, i was not able to get out of it, when i reboot, it automatically comes in recovery mode again n again, so i took the following guide to flash my phone with flashtool,

but when i try to flash my phone, it gives error in the end. can someone please help me to solve the problem, I'm stuck here

Hi all,
I flashed Vision Rom on my SXU, it was all fine.
Later I found SSpeed Kernel on the forum, I flashed it on top of Vision Rom.
When I tried to restart the phone from CWM, it didn't started instead it went into Boot loop (Sony logo + Xperia Boot animation + restarts)
Fortunately it went into flash mode aswell as fastboot mode.
When I tried to flash stock Rom, after 30%-35 % flashtool displays error, and phone gets disconnected.

Until 2 days I was busy and unable to try other methods, now the phone doesn't even start up, doesn't show Sony logo.
When I connect it through usb it just show orange light, even flashtool refuses to detect my phone.
Please help me how can I recover my phone from this situation ?

Don't panic it the notification LED is turning on then it is possible to recover the phone I think it must be out of charge so leave it on charger for quite some time then remove the battery and leave the phone for about an hour and then flash the stock rom...
Hi! I'm trying to flash my Xperia L, but it stops in "Flashing Loader"... I think that was the drivers, but not... I flash my Xperia L with SUS and everything works fine! All the drivers are installed...
What can I do?

i too experience this problem download latest drivers and update xl driver with system manager on ur pc then follow the instructions on sus for update

After restoring apps and systtem data by using Titanium back-up, my phone has not been start.. led light always going and going but could not completed the start up..please help me, what/how should i do... from C1204

Check my thread in general section " SOLVED All Drivers Problems of Xperia L". If you think the drivers are installed perfectly, then you should try to flash FTF file via flashtool (by bin4ry+androxyde). Make sure you select the right FTF file.
If you still have questions or problems, ask me away! I got exam tomorrow so I will explain you in detail on Saturday!

I'm having the same problem... My Xperia L has bricked, and I can't flash any rom on it... Look the Log when I try to flash any rom:

First of all, sorry for the delay! I had been busy!
Your log seems fine! Nothing wrong with it except it hangs!
For driver, do this. Boot your phone into fastboot(instructions below) and connect it with your PC on administrator account . Don't open Flashtool just yet. See if your windows is searching for any drivers or gives you any notification like, new driver found! If it shows in USB connectivity, android device connected or Adb or anything like that with a green TICK, you are good. If there is any exclamation mark, if means it has to do with your drivers! Reinstall drivers again!
Okay firstly, tell me if you got custom recovery or custom kernel on your phone ? Or there is any modification you have done lately!
Secondly, are you choosing the RIGHT FILE in flashtool. A default file is present in flashtool which is for Xperia X10. So I hope you are not doing that.
Next, are you booting correctly in fastboot mode by
turning off the phone
disconnect it from PC
hold volume down and connect it to PC when it asks you to connect your phone!
Suppose above doesnot work, you can CHECK only system+kernel in flashtool for FTF you are selecting. Make sure you also check wipe data and factory reset/dalvik as well. Even try just kernel !
If this doesnot work, download a NEW FTF file and make sure it's downloaded properly. Sometimes corrupted files show this sort of behaviour!
RUN FLASHTOOL via administrator and I hope NO program is blocking it! Do you get a pop up to enable it or anything?
Try changing the cable , sometimes it also helps! i remember I had a delay of five minutes when I used a Nokia cable to flash Sony phone! (It was one time only, I always have been using Nokia cable for flashing/debugging all my phones )
Try all these again and see if that helps, If still it doesnot help, send me your new LOG and any background you think would be necessary!

Haha no need to apologize! =P Thank for your help!
When I connect the device on fastboot mode, apeears a device called "S1Boot Fastboot" with a green tick, so I think the drivers are ok.
I tried to flash the following roms with the flashtool:
- iOS 7 Style ROM for XL 4.2.2
- OI Gaming OS v.1.8.305
- C2104_15.3.A.0.26_WORLD-A
And the following kernels:
- Kernel_Vengeance_TaoShan
- ThunderZap-3.1-Ultra
- Extended_Stock_Kernel_v5
- Phantom v4.5
Now, I'm with the C2104_15.3.A.0.26_WORLD-A, that I flashed through CWM, but without simcard, bluetooth, wifi and FM. :crying:
lol I'm choosin the right file on flashtool... haha
I already tried to flash just one item a time, but the larger files (like the system) don't flash, happen like the log that I posted.
When I open the flashtools, windows ask me for Administrator rights, i always click "Yes".
The cable that I use is the Sony Original, the same that I use to flash roms in my Xperia S, and with the S I've never had problem... .-.

Try flashing stock JB Rom or uninstall flashtool and install it again

But after that mobile always booting and not getting into !!

I understand you are new to these,but it's the only way to bring back your phone
In a simple way,Flashtool can relock your bootloader and let you to reset your phone by software provided by SONY(PC Comantion or Update Service,something like that)
Since these tool need a bootloader locked device
Still,if you want to directlly use CM10...etc,I still suggests you to reset your phone first

Download Flashtool
Install drivers (C:\Flashtool\drivers\) of your devices + flashmode + fastboot mode
Reboot your computer
Download a ftf from here = 11.0.A.7.5 - 11.2.A.0.21 - 11.2.A.0.31
Copy it to C:\Flashtool\firmwares\
Open Flashtool
Click ϟ
Select Flashmode
Select downloaded firmware
Turn off the phone
When prompted connect the phone in Flashmode (USB + Vol down) >> it's the combination of Xperia E, I don't know if it work also for Xperia J
Wait
If you get an error when it flash the loader.sin, try to reflash the firmware
When it have ended, disconnect your phone
Boot your phone

Download a ftf from here = 11.0.A.7.5 - 11.2.A.0.21 - 11.2.A.0.31
Copy it to C:\Flashtool\firmwares\
Open Flashtool
Click ϟ
Select Flashmode
Select downloaded firmware
Turn off the phone
When prompted connect the phone in Flashmode (USB + Vol down) >> it's the combination of Xperia E, I don't know if it work also for Xperia J
Wait
If you get an error when it flash the loader.sin, try to reflash the firmware
When it have ended, disconnect your phone
Boot your phone

XPERIA E gsm not working on stock 11.3.A.2.33
I Got problems with Xperia E and i flashed stock 11.3.A.2.33 rom
My device is Bootloader unlocked..
Before installing this I tries dualboot Recovery... Nly after this i Flashed the rom....
Now Gsm is not working what should i do now??
Kindly help me plzz... Thanks in advance... I'm new to xeria and now nly I'm learning these sony mobile flashed so help me with steps

Try to reflash the firmware.

I flashed the firmware but it's newer version ns still gsm is not working

I don't have Xperia E,but in Xperia J,when we flash rom,we need to downgrade the system to stock 4.0 first,
you might want to google it or you just post a new thread
flash the whole ftf using latest flashtool
