is this the black model you mentioned: http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-1800mAh-Standard-Battery-Galaxy/dp/B005NC86BU
someone said that fits in an Epic 4G so who knows, might work in a fassy, but yeah. i'd rather have something OEM, i don't trust cheap chinese batteries

Yes its from an Epic. I have never had a problem whatsoever with those "cheap Chinese" batteries . makes the phone thicker but its a good trade off for the life. I just looked on Amazon and surprised how many new ( and bigger) batteries are out now.

eh i just prefer having a samsung battery. and yeah the battery market for this phone is pretty huge because it's older and the chinese are banking off of the fact that
1. this phone is now three years old and OEM batteries are going to ****
2. replacements are extremely cheap to make, especially due to the lower MAh rate of the entire original Galaxy S line

Ahh I see.....well, this ole fassy runs pretty dam good , rooted and with PA ROM so I don't see reason to give her up lol

i'm personally content with cm7. anything newer is either too slow or has weird bugs. (ics has weird bugs, JB+ is too slow for me)

I'm still using my oem fassy battery now since its very difficult to find replacement for it in my country... but its still working good only its last about 8 hours on standby (data on)... :fingers-crossed:

i use a 3500 mAh from amazon, but its a pain in the @$$ to get fully calibrated, sometimes on kitkat roms i get the battery to last 3 hours screen-on time with 0% and sometimes it goes in negatives lol i got -7% once and founf it it makes the battery icon flash rapidly unless you switch to icon percentage text lol so unless you give it time to calibrate fully, it will be a bit undetermined on what percentage you truly have

i use cm7 stable, which you can download here: http://get.cm/get/2Kh
i also use the Glitch kernel, which you can download here: http://androtransfer.com/tk-glitch/CM7kernels/Glitch 13.1/CM7Fascinate-Glitch-V13_1-REL.zip
this is the most stable setup i have ever used, and the UI is the smoothest i have ever seen. doesn't necessarily do so well in benchmarks but i can play most modern games without a hitch.
and yes this is more stable than stock EH03, which liked to reboot itself often for some reason, and had a laggy UI, but it does a bit better in benchmarks for some reason.

o wtf i thought it was a rom ive never herd of
xboarder is no frills almost boring utilitarian battery saver. I think best on the battery but for maybe an hour or less of battery time you could go eagleblood or some CM variation.
try out the EagleBlood or weapon (has lg camera). If the battery annoys you then go xboarder. Oh also charge your battery all the way before you install rom and wipe data, cache, dalvik, battery stats, format system. its hard to do b/c you want all these apps, but let you battery drain all the way then charge all the way...you should be good to go then. go nuts on apps.

Regardless of your partiality, you are still correct. To back up this statement, I point to the current battery life on my infuse. I am sitting at 11% after 3 days, 50 minutes with a screen on time of 2 hours over those 3 days. One hour of voice calls and HEAVY text usage.
ZEUS, quite simply put, ROCKS.

!!!Zeus!!!
Is ZEUS the most stable as well?
Stability is the #1 factor for me. That and lack of amateur theming. Can't stand it when authors choose to put in weird looking fonts and other stuff. I watched the video that showed off zeus rom though and that is definitely not the case. EXTREMELY pretty.

Best kernel for saving battery on 7.0?

I am on cm 10.1 and the battery isn't much different from stock. Also, the tab gets hotter than it did on stock. Any kernel that keeps the device cool and saves battery? I am willing to change ROMs if its CM's fault, but the ROM you suggest should be waaay better to convince me to change ROMs.

2nd core inactive

I just noticed that my second core is inactive on my g2x phone. Does any one know is this normal or my phone is malfunctioned? I downloaded this app name CPU Identifier and it shows my second core is inactive. Im currently running MIUI (SINGH UI) for the g2x and it also shows that my second core is down. Doesn't bother me though....I have not seen any drop in performance since I have originally rooted the phone and as far as overall speed is concerned I don't think my phone has ever been faster.

I guess so. Only GB are stable with this phone. I always tried going 4.0+, no luck. I'm just ended up back with GB.
