iMovie? Lol. Just playing man. Just had to, cause I was just doing that exact same thing on my iPhone( 2nd phone) just a few minutes ago. As a serious answer , I don't know. Haven't attempted to look for one in android.

Bumping this post.
I think a lot of people would like a good, solid editor. I'd be more than willing to pay for a good one.
There's one that they pulled from an LG rom around here somewhere.

Play YouTube videos on home screen?

How do I do this? I'm running Beans 11. I was able to do it on stock but that was a long time ago.

You sure that was a YouTube video and not just any other video played from your phone? I doubt YT had an option like that but then they removed it.
Hm I remember doing it on my Galaxy tab when I had one. And maybe my s3. My memory could be wrong though

If you would set the YouTube app as being used on a Tablet I see that that would be an option there yes why not but as the other fellow said above me checkout that app.
Yeah but I swore there was a button on the YouTube app where you could put the video on the home screen and move it around. Am I wrong on that?

Never mind guess it was just the video player

I think you have to download the video and then you can use the pictures in picture you are talking about. That little icon will become available and you press it and the you can move it around your home screen.

Yeah it's only for the stock Samsung video player. I'm running stock with root and that's the only app I can find with Picture-In-Picture.
So does anyone know whether you can use the stock video player to run youtube vids?

showbox for android

Hey everyone I just wanted to share an app I shared with the htc one crowd called showbox. It has been only available to jail broken iPhones for a long time but they have finally brought it to android. The app itself is like Netflix without a subscription and it gets updated daily with the newest movies and TV shows. Download the apk from show-box.me and check it out definitely the best app out
Oh wow. This app is good. I'm used to these kinds of apps just bringing you to websites with a bunch of malware, but this works great. Good quality too!

There was no link, just had to go to the website listed near the end of the OP. It is a nice app, some good movies are listed on there, if you download it can take time (even on WiFi) but they have been very good quality.
Thanks for sharing...is there any similar app to watch tv channels?

Herein lies the problem folks, these apps are violating copyright laws in most instances...therefore, this thread is closed as XDA does not condone piracy.

Video stream problem. Help me out

So when I stream videos online and video is shorter than 5 minutes it works perfectly fine. Netflix works. YouTube works.. But when I try and stream a video online and watch it with mx player or any other player and the video is longer than around 5 minutes it starts to freeze and will not play. Plays super choppy. Any help?

Yes I have. Used at least 3 other ones. Plus you would think mx player being one of the top wouldn't have that problem anyway. Sucks cause I don't get to watch videos longer than 5 minutes basically.
And another thing is I can't even start the video over and skip to the part it freezes at cause it automatically stops or plays all sketchy.
