[Q] Confused bw different variants - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Getting one soon. Just confused whether the roms, are they compatible with all the variants or should i just get a single sim version for full compatibility or what?

The custom ROM development for single sim version is large as compared to that of dual sim as majority of developer posses single sim variant. But its only a matter of time when developers will release roms for both variant. Besides user has reported that some single sim variant roms also work on dual but only one sim is active.

Cm 10 not yet available for xperia tipo dual

Hi, recently i tried to search cm10 for my xperia tipo dual, but only one sim is detected.
At present cm 10 is only available for tipo single sim.
Did any one installed it?

I tried fxp 202/203 and not even only one single Sim was detected.
So i'm waiting more updates, or some good guy to make it work on tipo dual,

FXP has stated MANY times that they haven't yet ported, nor will soon port CM10 to Tipo Dual, because they do NOT have the phone.
They don't know the exact hardware and software differences, so they cannot port it, it's that easy and there has been hundreds of questions about it and again, they said this like a hundred times.

Well, so far, not for Tipo DUAL, I don't know about other phones, but FXP works with a small amount of Xperia phones. There probably ARE some dual sim phones that DO have CM10, but those are totally different phones.

well there is no official support for any dual sim phone till now from CM, so there is no SOURCE to compile cm for dual sim phones

is there any when we cm10 for single sim in dual sim

They're working on a cyanogen for your version I think http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2617679
Most roms seem to have a single sim working. Others need a simple fix. No fully working dual sim roms yet.

I have a dual sim galaxy note 10.1 does it accept the same roms as the regular note 10.1 ?
I'm sorry to tell you that your tablet is not Samsung at all....so it cannot support the same roms

but in samasung official site they wrote a note about dual sim tablets

I just got one of these for at&t on the cheap, it's the 4g version of first generation running 4.4.4. Is there any root method at all available for this model?
