I'm using ringke fusion and it's great, the only negative thing is that the back which is transparent scratches and gets dirty easily.
I saw a review of the Xibicen Aluminium and it's written that it causes signal issues and NFC is unusable because the case is made of alluminium

The backplate doesn't come off does it? That would make a killer bumper case if it did
It does but it needs to be held by the two screws. The screws hold it all together. It would be an awesome bumper if it only stayed in place.

Any recommendations for a solid case? No rubber or soft plastic?
Its for a keyboard mod.
Thin is also a bonus.

Yes, I believe that's the one mackster248 is suggesting.
Bugger, its close but the bezel doesn't go all the way around the phone.
Check out the Seidio surface. It covers the lip and is plastic.
That looks quite promising, is that the one with the kickstand?
The one for the galaxy nexus would be perfect.

And it sucks, because the metal cases can just look so slick. Here's one I just found for the Nexus 4, that looks great. But I like my signal strength.

Poetic Atmosphere, basically the greatest case of all time.

Are there any metal like ones around? Something a little bit on the gentle side for signal. I would assume such things would be all over the place since so many want to tout / whine about the plastic back. However, I can't really find one that doesn't claim to be aluminum.

i think hes talking about a metal battery cover...
and i doubt that this will become a thing, btw. the reason it's removable is because it's plastic.

I linked metal battery door cover. From eBay description:
Package Included:1* Aluminium Metal Brushed Battery Door Back Cover Case Samsung Galaxy S4 IV I9500
I'm a fan of using skins instead of cases. I usually order from SkinIt.com
However, they don't seem to have anything for the S4... YET.

I live by skinomi. I've bought at least 7 skins from them. Here's my Relay, but I have the same on my 3ds, nexus 7 and S4

So I decided that I got tired of Samsung's infamous glossy polycarbonate fingerprint-magnet casing and decided to do something about it. I think you'll find the results below are quite stunning if I do say so myself.

Neither, if you click the main link you'll notice this is actually a vinyl wrap that applies onto the device, effectively adding almost not thickness.
A vinyl wrap? I feel like that will eventually peel or catch on the edges with long term use... in and out of the pocket and eventually start peeling

Depends how you use it. The glue on it is really thick and tough so it does not peel easy. Also they recommend to use a heat gun once you're 100% sure you want to set it the way it is so the glue melts and bonds to the plastic (doesn't actually bond but sure feels like it afterwards).
I bought this instead, well see how it is

Do you guys have any suggestions?
I would like to buy a flip case, but not the typical rubbish low quality cases. I just found Nillkin V-series leather case, but i prefer the flip to be at the bottom, not at the sides.

I found it on Ebay for £5.95. But if someone knows a similar quality and price with bottom flip, i wold appreciate.
Thanks.
Flip cases usually come with hard back covers which eventually scratches the rubber back of our Xperia L.. I do not recommend you to buy flip case..

Did you figure it out by your own or you are just saying because you think it will?
If the case is premium I think no need to worry.

That is pretty snazzy. Not a big deal having the black bumper, since the sides of the device are black anyways. And it looks like the buttons are clear, so that color will shine through as well. Nice find!
Is it one piece or does the black bumper come off? I was gonna order that one but I thought it was a 2 piece type of case which I dislike. Thanks

Ordered the same case got it yesterday and it feels like a solid case I think I'm going to be using the case alot. Hopefully I get the phone this week.
I got the case and like it alot so far
Forgot to post pics with the phone actually in the case. It fits perfectly fine, feels great, and buttons are very clicky. Main downside is the weight and slightly thick bumper. I'm waiting for a cheap TPU case to come in today as my work case. This will be my "going out" case to show off the orange. Second pic is the case laying flat with the flashlight on.
