Yesterday I recived my Xperia C then I start cooking a ROM!
And Here is It, The first build of my ROM!
This is First time I am cooking a Xperia ROM for a XPERIA device,
Here We GO... :laugh:
Based on Official 16.0.B.2.13 Android 4.2.2
Deodex, zipalinged, tweaked
prerooted, busybox installed
int.d and third party script supported
Xperia z1 Home Launcher Moded to rotation support
Xperia z1 Walkman
Xperia z1 Album
Xperia z1 Movies
Xperia z1 keyboard
Xperia z1 themes
Xperia z1 Clock app
Xperia z1 Calculator
Xperia z1 Note app
Xperia z1 Sketch app
Xperia z1 task app
Xperia z1 messiging app
Xperia z1 stock fonts
CRT OFF animation Removed
Lockscreen Rotation Enabled
Enhached Sound and Picture Quality

This is the Main thing to notice coz instructions are unique! Please Read Carefully
-----------ROOTING-----------------
1.Install Framaroot
2.root your devices with first script
----------Install CWM--------------
1.Go to this thread for instructions
---------Update to 16.0.B.2.13--------
To flash this rom You have to be on Leatest version which is 16.0.B.2.13
1.Update from Sony PC Companion or SONY Update Service (Safe And Recommanded)
or
Flash this .ftf file with wmshua perfect flash. (Unsafe, Not recommanded) Go to this thread for instructions
----------Install ROM------------
1.Download .rar file from post 2,
2.Extract the folder inside .rar file (better do this process on computer instead of mobile)
3.Now in move this folder to your sdcard/clockworkrecovery/backup/<here>
4.Boot into recovery (turn off your xperia properly, now press "power" + "volume down" untill u boot into revcery)
5.do a Nandroid backup(recommanded)
6.Go to Wipe Section and Wipe Your data + system
7.go to Backup and restore section and restore "Xperia-Z-ized_C2306_v0.94" backup which you downloaded.
8.Let it restore
9.Reboot and Enjoy
--------Why this much long instructons-------
I know You are curious to know that Why we have to do all this ****ing stuff when we can simply flash any zip from cwm,
let me Explain-
The recovery we are using is not maded for Xperia C as its have wrong symlink toolbox applets,
If we flash a cwm flashable zip, it would be successfully installed but rom will not boot as toolbox is not symlinked,
so what i did is mannually did symlink from toolbox to bin and xbin and make a backup
cwm backup hold all the symlinks value and keep them safe,
so here is why i did all this otherwise i also know how easy to flash a zip too

Q.How to get more toggles on staturbar
A.Swipe down statusbar with two finger, You will able to see more toggles.
Q.I am getting Md5 mismatched Error on cwm while restoring your project into my phone
A.First match the md5 of downloaded rar file with given md5 on #2 post. google it how to check md5.
Q.I want CRT off effect back
A.I will make a MOD for CRT effect but it will desable for now.
Q.Back button is big.
A.Install Xposed framework from settings, reboot, open serajr Xperia Xposed go to systemUI/ and turn it on, Set navigatiobar according to your taste, Reboot now.
Q.How to enable developer Option?
A.go to settings/Aboutphone/tap on build number or 7-8 times, Developer option will be enable on settings.
Q.4G setings force close in settings/more
A.ofcourse it will, our device doesn't support 4G/LTE.

@AmniX I have modified apps, framework and systemUI and been using them on another mt6589 device via ROM port and making it as a base rom for modifications. Can you do java? I think it is possible that we can port the Docomo Statusbar and Honami Framework for applying 4.3 themes on 4.2(properly). SS here

You Can Extract from my ROM with adb (ab pull /system c:/system) but if u use it to make your own ROM then don't forget to give me the credt

I am too thinking to porting statusbar but modify framework to work with 4.3 themes will break other things for our phone coz API level will be changed and lots of things will force close instantly, I was thinking to port themes to work on API 17 level.
Upload may take a lots of time as i have a limited speed plan and this is BSNL too, so you need to wait more longer.

The 4.3 themes will work just like the 4.2 themes. The 4.3 themes also has api17 minimum requirement. But these themes won't give us the themed checkboxes, progressbars, level lines, navbar themes. only the colorizable functions will be working and the wallpapers. There are methods in porting the 4.3 framework or the honami framework for 4.2.2. niaboc the maker of existenz also said that it is possible and already made discussions on how to port it but I lack the knowledge on java. BDfreak the maker of advance framework for 4.2.2 also helped me to have the adv 4.2.2 framework that gives the non sony apps colorizable functions.

Can u give me the link of a thread or blog on proper discussions on how to port it, I will look into it.
I will try to port them for our device too! its just a start of developement for Xperia C!

there is no thread on how to do that. just a couple of words and tips from niaboc. I don't understand properly what he said because I lack the advanced knowledge on java. let's ask for him.
@niaboc79 brother. Can you please help us here on Xperia C. Our device has been left behind. Please instruct us to port the docomo statusbar and the honami framework. =')

This Rom is As a Base purpose!
You Can say A preview or a Deodex Base to help more Developers to make Custom rom!
If i will modify it fully as according to me so oter may face issue while cooking or developing Rom.

Well guys,The wait has an end.Now experience full Xperia style on our Galaxy Note 2.
Fully Xperia style ROM based on Cm 10.1.
I have tested it the whole day,This deserves to be the recommended ROM for your Note 2
Every thing is working fine it is Super fast and battery backup is very good.
There is a bug with themes just follow instructions as per OP.

Multiuser is inly avaliable on tablet roms. So the Paranoid Android ROM would have it.

Just flashed and restored stuff minutes ago and looks really superb, visually excellent and absolutely fluid. Obviously it´s impossible to know about battery life, but if you want a different look on your n7100 this is a must-flash!

Why cant the OP theme the ROM? If you're too lazy why not edit the build.prop and add another line E.g.

i dnt have time to theme every Rom here, Tht's why i create a theme Own my Own So any One can change to xperia and If He/she want to exprience Xperia Featuers On AOSP theme then Can Enjoy it too by change theme to default.

I wasnt talking to you... I was talking to the OP. I didnt say I have a problem. Sorry for giving advice to someone else... hell this isnt even your ROM. The OP took it onboard and hes the one who is making it. Using the build.prop edit would allow anyone to change the theme. It would just be on the Xperia from default.
I am aware they are similar but I was referring to the PA version.

i used the first rom was build on cm 10.1 i have to admit that it is awesome....i got 2 comments and question on that thread but no one answered...any one what is the changelog or the difference between the 2 roms ??? and the most inportant thing is: still there is a battery drain as on cm10.1 base or it is different here ??? wish anyone of the dev answer me this time
It's the fastest Rom 4.2 I've tried, but unfortunately camera force closes and when opening walkman says Device not connected everything else is working till now...

There are no major changes on this ROM compared to Xperia CM10.1 ROM. . .As most most of the users like Paranoid android version we have just made this.

The S Pen works for basic writing and drawing if you installed the recommended apps in the OP, but Samsung Touchwiz apps and Touchwiz features like S Note, Airview etc wont work.

1-To Speed Up Scrolling go to Settings--Developer Options--Force GPU Rendering
2-Having problems with media scanning (Your pics and music are not showing) don't waste your time on rescan media root go to cpu settings and change the I/O Scheduler from CFQ to SIO
3-I don’t recommend using backups because it will slow your device (Contacts & Messages is enough)
4-If you downloaded and installed Reborn V5, There is no need for installing Add-Ons

Install Instructions
(You Have to Come from Stock Offical Sony JB Firmware (11.2.A.0.31) (To Get True Baseband)
1-Put the ROM on your root of SDCard
2-Flash CWM Kernel (CM10 Kernel)
3-Wipe Data/Cache/Dalvik Cache
4-Format System
5-Choose My ROM
6-Reboot
7-Choose the Add-On you want
(No need to flash Add-On on Reborn V5)
Coming From ICS or CM10 Based ROM
Do the Same Steps Before
Then Turn of the phone
Go to Flashtool
Flash the 11.2.A.0.31 JB Firmware
Then Exclude (Wipe data and Wipe Cache) and all other .sin files
Only Flash the Base-band File (If you didn't understand these steps) Flash the Whole JB .31 Firmware before flashing the ROM
As you see guys, All files are excluded except the baseband file

you cannot supercharge rom. You have to run script manually and configure it manually.

Bad. If someone make wipe/format storage this will brick device, let people do it on their own risk. (channging SD mounting)

Cross SD mounting is removed.
I think also, ROMs can be supercharged via build.prop lines.

Because internal storage is something more than just data partition. There are things which can't be restored by flashoot or cwm, there were more expanded explanation on the forum somewhere

I'm not sure... it uses the Vengeance kernel, which has a couple of features no stock kernel has. So it might/might not be possible.

Make Sure You're On Deodexed Stock Jelly Bean.
Download Z3-STRYDER ROM.
Download Final Stable Update Zip.
Go to CWM Recovery.
Flash Z3-STRYDER ROM Zip.
Wipe Cache and Dalvik-cache.
Reboot your phone.
Now Again Go to CWM Recovery.
Flash Final Stable Update Zip.
Wipe Cache and Dalvik-Cache.
Reboot...Done!Enjoy The New Looks!!
NOTE- If you are already on Z3-STRYDER ROM Then just flash Final Stable Update Zip through CWM Recovery..Wipe Cache and Dalvik-Cache..Reboot!
