Infos:
Sammy version was originally "born", because some users had problems with ril and mobile data/3G, as well as gps with the normal version. On sammy versions problems had been gone. Now its "only" a variant, which "causes" minor changes, in my opinion. The screen colors are a bit different and hwc and/or other media related things are different. The touch behavior in unlocking the lockscreen, as well as in recents and also during swiping notifications away, is different.
General Differences:
Sammy versions are build with some other repos, mostly or more based on original Samsung drivers and other blobs. Therefore I am using the original nameless repos, with some minor changes in sepolicy and ril. Sammy is compiled with:

Differences by user experiences / opinions (Marshmallow Versions):
- battery charging time on normal version seems to be (much? - to be evaluated) longer than with RR v5.7.2 Sammy.

Grab Omni, it is 'more advanced' and in fact, working well
Thanks for porting this rom, I was looking at i9300's section with a little bit of being jelous, now it's here ! It's smooth and working fine!
Only this 'not working ART' is bothering me.. I got used to using it
Thanks for the info and good to know:good:. The art problem is also reported on cm thread. As soon as cm has it fixed we try to get it to run with RR again too as soon as possible.

Not sure HDMI/TV output available within this rom
So this rom is based on CM? Does that mean it has all the base fixes/patches on CM? I'm talking about the camera/video recording fixes that were implemented a few weeks ago, to be more specific.

I am not sure how it should work proper, because I never use it. We have no LTE, even no H connection available in our area. But when I press this tile, there is no change, so I think you are right, and it is not working. I will pass it to the team, hopefully we can find a solution.

we reverted back to cm camera with this version. If you like to have the fix for fron video camera issues you can exclude the camera apk from 5.0.7 version (for example from i9100 rom) and include it to system/app.

normally it turns LTE off and switches over to 3g or h or h+ instead of 4g. the button is supposed to be not enlightened when you press it
on pac man rom it was working maybe looking into that can help out. Thanks

- You will get a notification on your phone when a new version of RR ROM is available. You can download the ROM on your phone through the OTA updater.
- For now, I have made the link to open in a browser as direct links for the ROM zip on file host might not work at times. I might change this to direct downloading of zips in the future.
- Full ROM will be downloaded, not a delta zip.
- I haven't tested flashing the ROM using the automated scripts in the OTA updater. Use them at your own risk. I advice you to open recovery manually and flash the ROM manually. If you do decide to test the OTA updater scripts and it works, share with the community.
IMPORTANT: If you come from another ROM, have some issues or want a really clean installation then follow the 'Extended steps to install the ROM' featured on the General FAQ

its odd i can see 2 storage on my computer .its working here
installed and seeding Seems good to me, lots of extras. Clearly you still have any CM10 issues like the camera in landscape touch to focus but nothing thats a deal breaker.

Hmmm... how will tw launcher and spaper take a dpi change?
Edit. Touchwiz hates other dpi's then 320. Gets all fubar on lower dpi's. Unless one adds the modded one that's available.

Ok, the ROM is not bad but I feel that the rom misses out on a lot of features, like the dpi changes, the settings also need more options. It's overall very good but there is space for improvement. In the settings you could put I'm an option where you can control the performance like in the domination rom so that we can control the clock speed and such. Thanks

The Settings Interface is extremly small and the max dpi is 320 and on the htc one the first dpi for getting the interface smaller is 370 and on the rom is 320 so u cant change anything to get it bigger ...
and the camera is buggy with a green touch when u try to take a photo and it laggs

2. What menu options does this rom have? Logo2menu. hold home for menu or none?

use hybrid settings to chance per app dpi and performance control app kills battery life . thats why not included . for camera issue i ll look into

I installed xposed framework and everything is working except for the "App Setting" module to set the per-app-dpi and that's the only module that I use Do you know how to fix it? Or any alternate app/module or solution?

I use winrar and notepad++ on my pc to do this.

Google "xposed for 5.1.1". It's still in alpha stage but it's working except for a few modules and bootloops every now and then.

I'd like to build carbon lp5.1 for hltespr.
I've built for hltespr and hltespr pac-man kk and lp unofficial roms; well not frequent htlespr lp as there is an official maintainer. If I find the nightlys have failed I manually build hltespr for the users until the nightlys are fixed. encho is good with that setup.
Anyhow, I have the roomservice.xml file created by getdependency during pac build. I can put that file in .repo/local_manifests for carbon?
My issue is I can't figure out where to create the carbon_kltespr.mk file so lunch will run. do I create a device/samsung/kltespr folder and place it there?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Waiting for the new version dear. This is the most stable/feature rich AOSP Rom I've ever used on N9005 by a long margin. I've been using it for a month now and haven't had a single FC/bootloop, also the battery life is great with arter97 kernel and power saving mode enabled, but there's still room for improvement in battery life. Keep up the good word. :good:

What is AICP?
AICP is known by someone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since than evolved as a mature rom with the BEST community you can find!!!
Rom has always been AOKP based until Lollipop.
Unfortunately AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year so we are now CM based when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Marshmallow. It is not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
We are fine with you installing any mods you require, have fun, enjoy. BUT while reporting bugs, we advice you to report bugs if and only if you have exactly and only the ROM+Gapps. No additional mods.
We have an inbuilt logger in the AicpExtras app. So be sure to use that while recreating logs and posting it here.
In case you can't log it, then make sure to tell us the exact procedure on how to recreate any bugs.

finally fb and snap working
but this rom isn't very stable
Bugs:
- Camera can't take pictures but recording video is working well. weird (tried 3rd party cams and it's the same)
- AICP Extras won't open it says "can't get SuperUser Access" but i have enabled the root from dev settings.
- SELinux is permissive, normally on cm it's Enforcing (the seLinux switch on dev settings doesn't work either)
If all of those bugs get fixed then this rom would be super AWESOME!

I am happy to see the development for this device is still going on. I thought it came to an end when the the developers moved out one by one and no updates happened in the last one month.
I like to help the development by testing, providing bug reports, etc.

Before issues should be reported:
1. Rom needs to be clean flashed
2. No Xposed, AKT Profiles, Helix Engine, or other mods, etc.
3. Do not restore any apps with TiBu or Swift or some other app restoring application
4. No Substratum themes installed
If you can still reproduce the issue you're having, Logcat/logs must be provided with your report in order to receive any support.
The rom has matlog built-in which is mostly useful, I prefer that you would use Syslog from the Play Store instead as it will grab all logs and scrub any personal data from them by default.

I have added a few extras that were missing for sound control, pdesire audio, DCI_P3 mode, and sultan's battery cycle/charge commit.
Also changed the theme, and updated some stuff.
Work in progress but needed something to fully control my kernel.

This is my own modified build of TWRP, currently version 3.2.3-0.
I build it with my rom source so same optimization as my rom, Built and optimized specifically for the OP3/msm8996 SOC.
I built a kernel specifically for this Recovery to maximize the backup/restore speeds and lower the battery usage at the same time.
What once took ~140 seconds to backup system/boot now takes ~70. No loss in functionality, encryption and all that still works fine here.
I've changed the default theme and also ported some features from RedWolf Recovery that I found useful like substratum overlay wipe.

No it doesn't *fully* support substratum, having the full OMS commits in the rom so it works without root slows down the entire rom so I've only included the basic support for it.
By far the best rom for OP3/3T!

Display roundness is a toggle in dragon's den/style. but no way to disable the round qs/notifications/recents without substratum or compiling the rom yourself which i have instructions for on github/gitlab.

no just a toggle to show or not only, located by the way on the bottom center
Finally on XDA !
Been using this ROM since months and I can confirm this is one of the best ROMs for the 3/3T and god i've tried a lot
