actually i have a Desire with the Cyanogen Rom @ Nexus Style so i think my question is @ the right forum.
I like the stock news + weather widget, but i can not find a clock which look similar.
What i like to have is the Lockscreen Clock + Date on the News&Weather widget background. Somebody saw something like this? I tried several clock apps and of course beautiful widgets, i did a skin for beatiful widgets with the same background but i can't ged rid of the weather there
Is it hard to do such an app? Anyone out there who want's the same and is probably capable of doing such an app?

Nova Launcher Prime. Hopefully there will be a way to flash CM or any other AOSP based rom on the Wifi version as I can't stand the Honeycomb like nav buttons and all the Sony bloatware. Tried to replace most of the Sony apps with proper stock Android apps, and thankfully Nova Launcher let's me hide all the things I don't need.
Chose this tablet because of the unavailability of the Nexus 10 over here, the weight of the tablet, and the (wrong) assumption this tablet would be easy to turn into a "pseudo-Nexus" because of Sony's involvement in AOSP.
So hopefully some clever devs will find a way soon.

That's probably because Dashclock needs Android 4.2.2, and the stock Sony firmware is on 4.1 I believe

Thanks, for this relevant answer, will wait until Sony update its rom to 4.2.2,
Stock Sony XPERIA Launcher (I haven't tried the DoCoMo launcher), panels 1 to 5.
Panel 1 is at the extreme end for stuff I don't pay attention to so much, i.e. Socialife.
Panel 2 is a blank panel, so that I can just enjoy the wallpaper, or, well, when I want a blank panel.
Panel 3, central home panel, has the information I generally look for, plus the most commonly accessed shortcuts/a music player widget.
Panel 4, extended weather info only, with time.
Panel 5, full-size music player.
This sort of layout has been sort of traditional for me, and I use some variation of it on all my Android devices.
I use a combination of Minimalistic Text, Sony's stock widgets and Poweramp, while weather is provided by 1Weather's widget.
I'm not too fancy or anything though I suppose I ought to spend time properly doing something unusual and nice, given the XPERIA is hardly a usual tablet.
Wallpaper is via the Music Visualizer app, with a self-edited image for an idle wallpaper. It'll change to visualizer bars when sound plays above a certain volume threshold (i.e. the sound of system clicks doesn't trigger it).
I have PowerToggles on the system bar and Realtime Task Manager on the Small Apps shortcut. I'm honestly a fan of the single-system bar layout. I absolutely abhor the idea of having two on-screen bars consuming screen space.
I might replace the Socialife widgets with Flipboard's or something, because they constantly blank themselves needing a refresh, and sometimes it just seems that they're sluggish.
I love magancete's look, it's very unique!

As a reference here is a thread that had an older version with transparent widget but for months now my widget has shown 'There is a new version available' on my home screen instead of news headlines and when I try to update it says my SGS4 on stock ROM isn't compatible for the new update. It's frustrating. I've found what I think is the standard APK for the newest version but the background will be solid black as it's the stock version and I need the transparent widget. Does anyone have a link for me as I've searched and can't seem to come up with any solutions.
If I can get extra picky and it's not difficult can I request the newest Google News & Weather app with transparent widget & the sense weather icons like this version had and it's not difficult? Can someone point me in the right direction or know of anyone who can make such requests?

Same here.. It can't resize well. Actually i have tried many mods and apps on playstore. None resize for launcher with more than 5 row.. It looks all are based in the same old code.. Except one, which i use. I don't remember where i found it..

LOOK! THIS APPLICATION WAS AN OLD MOD WHICH WAS THE HTC CLOCK WEATHER WIDGET WHERE IT WAS AWESOME !!! NOW THE COMPANY THAT HAD MADE THE MOD HAS CLOSED ALL SERVERS. THAT'S WHY IT DOES NOT SHOW YOU TIME. I WILL FIND ANOTHER MOD WHICH WILL PLAY!!!
