[Q] Photos make phone calls while

Hello,
i have one question.
When i'm calling i can't make photos with my Camera. There says "not allowed during call!"
It's possible, to change that? no desire to hang up always make photos!
Sry for my bad english, i came from germany :laugh:

Try another camera picture app like Camera360 or Vignette. Found those answers from this site:

I guess just use those apps when talking on phone then just use the regular (better) camera app while not.

There is an edit than can be made in system/CSC/customer or camera file I believe that will enable. Don't have time to find now but will post when I have time to search for it.

Add this in feature.xml under system/csc
<CscFeature_Camera_EnableDuringCall>true</<CscFeature_Camera_EnableDuringCall>

and flityrse

Yes, the file "system/etc/feature_default.xml" is available .
Can i use that file ?

You should be able to. It is a fall back file.
Key is know how it works out. Don't forget to reboot.

Boat Browser

Tried searching everywhere to no avail.
I have made several book mark backups with boat Browser and can't find where they are stored so I can delete some.
It says it stored in Drive but can't see them?
Can anyone help.

No, but it tells you where the "Save Path" is - surely you can go and manually delete any unwanted backups yourself?

Like I said in the 1st post
I chose to backup to Google drive but when I open Google drive they can't be seen.
But can be restored from there.
Doesn't make sense I know but you need to try it for yourself to understand.

You didn't make it at all clear that you were backing up to Google Drive.
No idea - I'd try running a full search on your Google Drive to see if you can find them as it should be fairly simple to work out where they are I'd have thought.

I can't locate them that's why I'm asking for help.

Wow you're right...I just backed up to google drive and was able to restore from it, but when i go to drive I do not see the backup...odd.

I have lost PlayMemoriesOnline in Album after this upgrade. Can not even use oldest version becouse after uninstall, old album crashes at start (new unusefull working lol )

The reason I suggesting this is - we have many threads opened just to say we have update for some app and that's all...

Solved, i have cleared, stopped, uninstalled upgrade, cleared stoped, deleted from app folder rebooted, pushed to app and restarted
BTW looks like new album has new location PMO restrictions

Google dialer app on EU s7 question

Hey all,
I just saw that now you can have the Google dialer side loaded and working on your s7 without root, and I did just that with the latest version on a EU s7, but it just gives me after installing : "app not installed" and I can close it only.
Any suggestions or advise how I can put the Google dialer app on my phone?

Works perfectly fine if you don't install it as a system app.
I've had it installed from the time it was available from the play store for a very short while.
I used package disabler to disable stock contacts app from samsung.
Rocking google dailer without root ever since. You can also just install the apk (if its not available on xda labs, use apkmirror?)

i have the same problem with contacts.. some contacts are shown with name others only number (like they weren't saved)..
i think it's something common with google dialer, but still i can't find any solution

No I have not disabled anything, just made those apps the main apps to be used when using dialer or contacts, do I have to disable anything?

Yes I did, and I am using it, I even installed it before the phone app.
I gave manually access to google phone, contacts, photos and calendar apps to all things they wanted, will see if that changes anything when ppl call

Sadly that did not work either, I'm open to suggestions honestly

Try disabling the samsung contacts app. Cause its working perfectly like that for me. Don't know what else is different.
