Well Folks the wait is over now you can root your GFIVE Blade F500 and take full control of it. It took me and my brother nearly 1 year to make this little cheap android phone rootable
So get ready to root and have fun with it.
Note: I'm only sharing you the soft root method. This only will root your phone without flashing its recovery as i'm working on it to dump its recovery asap. Please do not brick it like a herp derp and i'm not responsible for any damages to it!
Some FAQs:
What is GFive?
Well it is an mobile manufacturer company that makes smartphones and distributes in Asia, Middle East and maybe even in America Region!
Why its thread page is not on XDA?
Because its a legacy device.
Why Root?
Because its fun to root and take full control of your android phone.
Is there any SDK available for it?
Unfortunately no because it is based on Broadcom's BCM 21553 Chipset and idk a single information on it.
When will you make a recovery and a custom ROM for it?
IDK maybe in about upcoming 2-3 months or maybe its impossible lol well lets see.

AFAIK, there is no custom ROM for OT-890 nor OT-890D, probably because there was no way of flashing it. It is really slow, even without apps. Mine has a branded ROM with bunch of crapware in it, makes it even slower.
I removed many system apps from it, it's getting a little faster but not like custom roms

i have branded rom too, but i download this OT_890_20120725.tar.zx i open and see other files in "external kernel mtk system" how can i install this, cause i have trouble with facebook youtube and market apps i cannot log in and unfixed bugs.
There is no way to install it, because that's the source code for the kernel and other MTK stuff needed, it must be compiled first.

SuperOneClickv2.3.1-ShortFuse.And it did successful :crying: And as I realize that rooting my device with SuperOneClickv2.3.1-ShortFuse not include with the CWM.Actually i founded the CWM.zip in my external SD. An after I check the file is CWM5 which is a little bit old. Perhaps the SuperOneClickv2.3.1-ShortFuse comes with that CWM5 version. But still I can't extract it through recovery mode. It say "can't mount the sd card, I did recheck and found out that I already checklist the USB debugging.
I figure out that i must install it separately after rooting with SuperOneClickv2.3.1-ShortFuse. I also read the thread about installing the CWM 9 or 10. One of the thread in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1576553 it is a nice thread, but I still need detail steps in installing either CWM9 or CWM10 on my device.
This is my device specification :

Can anybody kindly help me to get through with this newbie problems. I appreciate your help.Thank you so very much..

You can root pretty much any MT6575 using a method like this, but MTK Droid Tools will make a CWM recovery that is compatible with your device, just use the guide below. You will need the tool in post #1 then look at post #5 for directions.

Hello,
Thank you for the nice thread.
I have 3 questions :
1) Does the phone need to be unlocked before starting ?
2) If no for Q1, will it be unlocked after the operation ?
3) If yes for Q2, ii it possible to relock later ?
Thank you.
Laurent
just a few questions @abadan
1. if you have tested it on your tab, what gives you assumption that it may work on PHONE?
2. why are you providing the third party source (placed in the domain greenroid.com, belonging to the Iran), instead of the original domain kingoapp.com, which is Chinese (and was several times claimed as suspicious?
IMHO, the app itself was several times mentioned as stealing the IMEI number, first.
Secondly, only the original source download gives more or less assumption that the app is (RELATIVELY) safe and updated to latest version.
Finally, the Chinese source of app was, as I mentioned previously, claimed several times to be unsafe. I'd be careful before I'd decide to trust another "very trustworthy" source...
No point using something like this... plus, it has been mentioned many time here on XDA, anyone who looking for an easy root solution should try the safe root first... no hassle and takes few min to get it done
