I will make to work :fingers-crossed:
and if any one know how to do it tell me
____________________________________________________________________________________
press thinks it wont kill you

1. Download sources
2. Download compiler
3. Set compiler path in file named build.sh ( https://github.com/Roxsel/RoXSel-kernel/blob/3.0.84_working/build.sh#L21 )
4. Open terminal , cd to kernel folder
5. Write this in terminal :
Code:
./build.sh stock 4.1.2 cwm
6. wait about 10 minutes
7. You will get flashable package in out folder
8. Flash it and enjoy in unreleased RoXSel v3
Note: it was never been tested and there is chance that recovery is not working and phone is not booting ( ramdisk problem )
Note2: i think that i dont have to remind that you ahve to be on linux based OS

@Rox ok thinxx rox I will do it and I will test it and see what will happened
what I need to install 3.0.83 or 70 or 96 jest to make it perfect to stock rom
PS.you the man rox :victory:

I guess 3.0.96
If you got some problems i will try to fix ramdisk.. i am still not sure if it is working for stock because i never tested
btw. i have just found mistake in remdisk, about insmoding libs. i will fix it in few minutes
edit: DONE! now you can try.
btw. you can compile kernel same as one on CM. you have to edit ramdisks path and start compiling.
good luck !

I don't know how to do it on windows hehehe
I will find a way to do it but it will take bit time

I also normaly use windows ( 7 ), that cant prevent you from installing ubuntu. Just isntall it on dual boot and on startup you can choose which OS to use

You can use UEFI for windows 8 and ubuntu 13.04+
Use at own own risk

ok so i know theres a thread out there in the dev section but this one is for noobs like me.
first i take no credit for.please head over to the original thread to thank zeppelinrox.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18703418&postcount=5021
1. download the script - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18703418&postcount=5021
2. download busybox.install it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox&hl=en
3. install script manager - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=os.tools.scriptmanager&hl=en
(IF YOU HAVE A DOUBT OF BUSYBOX RUN "SUPERCHARGER STARTER KIT" IN SMANAGERrun the script as root.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18703418&postcount=5021
4.open the script manager.search for the script.run it.first tap the green skull to run as root. then tap to run as script.look at the attached screenshot 2.
5.the script will verify your busybox .the script will proceed as given in screenshot3.
6.now the script will guide you. just remember to select the
a)lock home in memory - no
b)scroll speed 1
c)local prop over build prop
d)die hard launcher
e)soft rock.
7.after everything is completed the device will reboot
8. open sn manager again navigate to v6 supercharger script run 99supercharger as root and at boot(important)boot option beside the "run as root option". so done!!!
9.now again run the original v6 script.as it runs there is a "driver console".
10. select the third slot for 500mb ram.there are three options - unleded ,leded.select the one you prefer (multitasking - least minfree values, aggressive - highest minfree values etc)
11.select the "engine flush"option after you complete the above step(just type the appropriate numerical corrosponding to the option)
12.select "detailing" and run it.
13.when you run the script theTHIRD time after this, at the end it will show 100% supercharged.if not, tweak various values in the drivers console.eg- bulletproof apps, etc.
14.as a last ,create a widget for "engine flush". run it ONCE every 3-4 hours.
15.run the detailing once a week.
16.done!!!!oh and try out various other options in the drivers console!!!
RISK - none.just install the latest busybox.if you get "operand"error.check busybox(atleast 1.19.x)
Wow....
Exactly this is waht i wanted....!!
I ran the script but only script run and no options as you told like driver selections and all.
So I am going for the same again exactly the way you mentioned.

mimic.ca hasn't been updated so it's lacking all the newest stuff and doesn't work at all on Jelly Bean.
The windows exe is very easy tho.
It will do everything - pull services.jar from they phone via adb, patch it according to your preferences, and install it.
You can get it here http://goo.gl/OfOOE
You still need to use the V6 SuperCharger script a usual - just don't try to patch it with the ICS service centre after it's already been patched with the windows tool.

[DEV][TOOL] Kernel Tool Version 3 [22-5-2013]

Hey everyone !
I just made a simple tool for unpacking and packing kernels for Linux using bash scripts ..
Maybe helpful for start up devs and others alike !
I hope this tool will be beneficial to devs / kernel devs / ROM devs too.. for cutting down the time in typing a lot of stuff.
#include<disclaimer.h>
NOTE : Keep a backup of your kernel / boot.img always in hand.. I am not responsible for bootloops. Whatever you do.. Its your responsiblity. If you point a finger at me.. I will laugh at you !
Click to collapse
How to use this tool ??
Download the zip !
Extract it to the suitable directory.
Copy boot img too the directory.
Open terminal.
Change directory to kernel tools directory.
Run init.sh only if your running the script for the first time!
Type code :
Code:
./init.sh
Now tool is configured !
To extract boot.img :
Code:
./unpack.sh
To repack boot.img :
Code:
./pack.sh
To start from fresh again for new kernel build :
Code:
./fresh.sh
I am adding a blank zip to flash any kernel:
Just add modules to system > lib > modules
and add boot img to the zip along with meta-inf folder and system folder .
Hope this helps the whole community !
Those who have issues with " Permission denied problems " ... Right click on the .init.sh and give it suitable permissions.. or do a chmod +x on init.sh and then run it..
Kernel Tool Version 2 !
With new GUI and no hassles !
Worth a try View attachment K-EX-2.zip

Dev's may like to use commands, but newbies, take some time to learn...
This tool, makes your work easier, and faster...
p.s. use the original commands twice-thrice to get the flow of it... then, consider using this tool
Re: [DEV][TOOL] Kernel Tool Version 2 [31-3-2013]
For changing ramdisk(cm9 to 10/10.1etc. ) ~after boot.img split into kernel and ramdisk.cpio.gz,
Is it enough to replace the ramdisk.cpio.gz from the older working one without opening ramdisk.cpio.gz/messing with it?

Ps newer version has a kernel Porter.. just name the kernel as instructed in the tool it automatically ports the kernel according to what you want to do .. from boot Img to boot IMG..
And for the kernel devs from a new zimage to another bootimg from which ramdisk is req

It's to check if your backup is corrupted and to save you from unnecessary reflashing. If you're not planning to modify your backup , you should't disable it.

Berni, there's a few developer-related questions I wanna ask before I develop my first Android firmware ROM.
1. Is even a Java file context-sensitive? And if it is, should a simple change be checked against the other source that links to it?
2. Is it difficult to add in some framework / library outside the Android source codes?

To 1 no but most libraries are built of pretty much code (libwebcore is some gigs big) and are difficult to port to other android version(opposite is libwebcore which is pretty easy). Many libs should work on same android versions but many don't

[Guide] [How to] Run windows or mac os on your android.[no root needed]

Hi friends,
This is a guide that help you to run the windows on your android phone.
.
I have tested this by myself using a low end arm6 600mhz with 256Mb ram qvga (240x320) display device and a high end 1.5Ghz phone with 1 Gb ram and 720p display.
Both works well( It took about 5min to boot ) So this will work on almost every android device.
.
Just download the file using the link, extract the SDLApp.apk and install it.
.
Then extract the SDL folder to the root On your phone. (mnt/sdcard/here)Then you're done !!!
.
Open the app "lib sdl"and wait...(may take about 1~20 min to boot into win95)
.
If you want to try to run applications or
access your SD Card within windows create a
folder called HDD in the root of your SDcard
and put whatever you want in there. You can use that foldr as your Hard disk.
.
Ok enjoy !!!
.
Link-(55mb)

Run windows 1 on your android.
Have you ever used windows one?
Try it on your phone.
.
You have to download " AnDOSbox "or "aDosBox" from play store.
.
Download windowsone.img
.
Place it in root of your sdcard (mnt/sdcard/here)
.
Open AnDOSbox/aDosBox app.

Run old mac os on your phone
Updating post
Place the file "vMac.ROM" in "minivmac" directory in your SD Card.
Disk images should have .img or .dsk
extensions, and be located in "minivmac"
directory in your SD Card for them to show up
in the disk chooser.

[MOD]Pure Graphics HD

I Was tweaking my phone a lot and encountered 2 bootloops(in star and tab 3) because of it(Reason- Supercharger script, pathing jar services part)
However i found an amazingly working mod that has really smoothed my experience (Dload links attached below).
They are-
◢ Pure™Graphics HD + Rendering Version ◣ [Tested on Tab 3 7 inch]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2295010
Quote:
Features
- Enable GPU rendernig
- Enable dithering but did not affect consumption!!
- Use the GPU for the management of the touch
- Improve video HW render
- It allows you to play ported ARMV7 games without lags problems
- Increase scores on the AnTuTu graphic rank
- In MDPI devices improves the density pixels and brightness
- Eliminates lag system with the generator of video entropy
- Liquify the UI
Requirements:
1. Some apps still show that there isnt any init.d support so i used uni - init app by
@Ryuinferno
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1933849
2. Busybox(from google play)
Note:
Dont use Task killers after using these.
Do Make a CWM Nandroid backup just in case anything goes wrong (There was no problem for me).
Steps:
-Download all attachments.
-Put them in extsd
-Go to CWM Recovery using Hardware keys.
-Flash the zip file.
-Reboot(may take time optimizing the apps)
-Feel the smoothness

Oh these are display tweaks so it wont bring out extraordinary smoothness but
it increases benchmark scores by 200 or 400
If ur device was not laggy in the first place then u wont actually see the effect
Also make sure u have init.d support (u can do this using uni init app - link in op)
link for init.d posting here too - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1933849
Also this tweak unlike supercharger and many others doesnt contain any ram managing or oop value modification tweaks
just some display tweaks so it cant break ur device
I have tried... and not bad, looks better!

CM 10.1 has an option '16bit transparency', it's effective too for reducing lag. I think we should compare or maybe use it both together
