I have been seeing this question pop up everywhere for every possible OS and browser. So I thought I will share something that will resolve this once and for and for.
This article is a collection on articles that will guide you through the process of taking screenshots on all mobile OS, desktop OS, browsers and everything in between.
Hope this gets pinned to the top so others dont have to create more threads.

Right off the bat, let me apologize for being such a noob. But for the life of me, I cant seem to find out how to actually dual boot WinMo and Android on my TMOUS htc hd2. I have searched using every term and phrase i can think of and nothing. Please keep in mind that I am not only new to this type of stuff, but to forums as well. So then I tried to find out how to flash a rom and radio, and come up empty there too. I couldn't even find if thats all the steps to change a phone. I am willing to learn, WANT to learn, but need a little boost to get started. I am supremely interested in figuring out how to use Ubuntu on my hd2 (thats what my main computer is), but i figure thats probably harder than the rest so i didn't even search it. Please no comments on how noobish I am please. I am already aware of this fact. And if i posted this in the wrong place, or this kind of question is not allowed, moderators feel free to delete or move it (not that you need MY permission). Thanks in advance for any help on this matter, and as I said at the beginning, please forgive my noobishness.
Another Question.....
Another question I wanted to ask that I haven't yet found an answer to was whether or not a computer has to be used for anything other than loading files onto the SD card, and if so, are the programs running on the computer compatible with linux? If not, are they able to run on wine? Again any help is greatly appreciated.
Used to be new too

Check out the stickies
Don't lurk on that phone so don't know if they have a wiki setup. Most likely do. Most phone's have wiki sections that if you read em will all the info you need. You said you're open and want to learn, keep that up.
For reference on searching, the search system is setup like a/the forum sub section, kinda like a file system.

Use the "search this forum" button here on this page to do a search on just that phone's forum. If you use the same button on the accessories main page, it will just search that phone's acc forum. Same goes if you search the xda main forum page, you'll be searching everything.
I did notice yesterday and today the search was acting up, giving me 0 results for topics I know are here, then just searched for general things like case and unlock, still nothing. That may have been the problem you were having, too.
Good Luck
Thank You
That was the problem I was having. I would search, but come up with no or very few results. Thank you for your help. I didn't read all the stickies or even check the wiki, like i said, I'm a noob. Well, far as I am concerned this thread can be closed.
I am here and I was wondering where I was suppose to post tutorials in the Xoom Section. I was thinking about making some New Xoom User tutorials with screenshots, and if I am to find a good screen recorder app too, some videos, of basic questions as well as operation of the tablet. I would like to make sure I post it in the correct forum before I continue on with it as well as make sure someone has not already done an extensive overview of the actual operations like I am wanting to start here. I hope that I can start this up soon (well I am working on the posts now in word doc, but I am meaning by posting it up...)
Thank you for your time and thank you in advance for the help with this idea

Just a thought...you could post in general...if related to rooting it could be added to diablo2224's. Rooting thread, otherwise create your own. I hope you do some tutorials...do you know what you'd like to cover?
I was thinking about the little small things like "how to get to settings" and "explaining your questions for help" and so on. and then when i get a feel for how people react to them, maybe deeper into programming, rooting troubleshooting, and other stuff
Thanks for the encouragement okantomi! I will keep things updated on my sig and profile page!!

I think that "how to get to settings" is a little basic, but I definitely think we need more tutorials on how to make the most of the Xoom (and Honeycomb in general) so have at it.
If you make videos "how to"s, I would create a single post in General and post links to all of them there. If they are just written guides, I would make a new post in General for each one.

I was thinking about making on big tutorial in on general location for all the links, kind of like the index of a book, and then you click the link and it goes to the forum post about that said link. I might have to do this on another page like a personal website but i really do not want to do that so i am looking into alternative ways. I was thinking too about making the videos a playlist and use youtube and maybe add a few Here's why and commentaries to the list. I have a whole list of ideas and I am hoping to get started (as in posting it up) soon! cause i use google docs, I can write on my phone when away and have an idea... so this should be interesting Also looking into screen recording material for ON the Xoom cause i do not want to be doing DDMS all the time for ever single frame that i need... if i had a video recorder it would be nicer ... but i will get to that when i cross that bridge! I will keep everyone updated on the tutorials when they get posted... I will if it suits people, us this as a "to go" point and just change the title, or make a new thread for the index.... Here we GO!
also! thank you for the words of encouragement and advice rschenck!

If you wish to see an example of one approach to this sort of idea, we have been building a community wiki for CyanogenMod 7 on the SGS and created a How To section. Of course this is a group effort as opposed to a single member, but the idea is much the same.
http://sgscm7nightlies.pbworks.com/w/page/41716809/i9000 How-To´s
awesome to hear onn the cyanogen mod but I want to keep it as close to stock as possible... like right now I have super user but I have not changed the rom at all I'll look at the how to that you linked me to and I will study it and see what advice to writing a tutorial it will give me :-D
Keep you updated and thanks again!

The tree style folders look is available on Windows Google chrome desktop .
Lot of people are suffering as they have 300 to 3000 plus bookmarks

P.S.
Anyone who can come up with a satisfactory solution, it will be much appreciated . And as a token of thanks $100.

I am working on a project in which, I want to create an Android App. The app will open a website in background, wait for the page to load. Then, it will find something on the page. After that it will do a specific task. Then, wait for the process to be completed. If the process gets completed, it will have some delay. Then, it'll reopen the url again and thenafter repeat the same task in a cycle.
It should continue doing the directed tasks until any unwanted system or wanted user interruption.
I've searched a lot on web to know that if something could be done in this route. But, I couldn't find anything helpful.
I want something similar to

Here, in the above mentioned tutorial, he is using Python Script for making an Instagram bot for PC. The bot will open Browser, then the Instagram's Feed, then will find the button by text "Like" and then go back, thenafter it'll repeat the cycle.
I want something similar.
1). But, instead of Liking every post/photo, I want my bot to comment something on the posts of people whom I or the person using the bot is following on Instagram.
2). Second thing is, this process is being done on the main window. I want this process to be done in background.
3). He is doing it in(for) PC. I want to do it in/for Android.
4). I may follow his tutorial for PC and using Python. But, how would I do it using Java or Kotlin in Android Studio.
I started to do some research and build a very very beginning level app. Which You may find

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong spot or if I do something wrong, this is my first post and I just cannot find any information anywhere else on the internet or even on these forums.
Basically what's happening is that every time I open a webpage (e.g. Wikipedia) the sections on the website are open without me clicking on them which normally would be how I open them. For instance (see image) "characteristics" and "classification" both start out as open, like classification is currently. If anyone has any information about this or a way to have them start out as closed, please let me know. I'm running stock OS and I have no rooted my phone or anything like that, I believe it started out a few updates ago but I only just caught it recently.
I am thankful for any information you guys can give or any ideas you have.
Edit: can't actually post images for the first 10 posts, sorry
