Hi Everyone,
I have just installed the ViperXL ROM and I have noticed random reboots of the phone. The period between these reboots doesn't appear to be consistent, and furthermore it doesn't matter whether the phone is plugged in or not. So far a reboot hasn't occurred in the middle of me using the phone; however this may simply be because I have not been using it a lot.
If anybody has any suggestions on what may cause this behaviour they will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Davo

update to 2.15 either via an RUU or flashing the firmware files manually. That should fix your reboots
I am a user of the Telstra (Australia) One XL. Can you recommend an appropriate version 2.15 firmware?

You will want to S-OFF first.
Thank you. I am having trouble doing the 'S-Off', have tried the 'Facepalm' method, and posted to that thread concerning the issues that I am facing. What method did you use to 'S-Off'? Furthermore did it give you any grief?

There is only facepalm and I had no issues with it. I will check your post.
Here are the firmware updates after you achieve S-OFF:

this part should be remote: 92 and not 99
press and hold power until it hard reboots (do not software reboot). Then try again

no. keep pressing and holding power until it shuts off and then try again. ive seen it take some people several tries.
come to think of it. It may be the software version of viper rom. Try flashing an older version or any sense 4 rom
If you can't get Facepalm to work there is always the Rumrunner s-off method as well. But exad is right, it can take several attempts so keep trying.

Hi, looks like my unmodded HTC Vision bricked last week.
Code:
VISION PVT SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-0.85.0008
MICROP-0425
RADIO-26.04.02.17_M2
eMMC-boot
It just suddenly switched off and started to bootloop.
I can still reach Fastboot, but it starts to bootloop again as soon as I try to enter recovery. The SD-Card seems broken too (not recognized in other Android Phone/ cant partition even with Windows)
Main Problem is now:
This Phone was S-ON an unrooted, USB Debugging switched off. So I cant just root and install a custom ROM.
I tried to install several Stock Roms but none of them installed.
Really don't know what i could do now to get a working phone again.
TL;DR:
HTC Vision bootloop, fastboot works, recovery broken, USB Debug off -> no adb
Perhaps anyone got an idea how to unbrick this phone?

Hope this is allowed here:

So I had One S4 with unlocked via HTCdev bootloader, custom recovery and custom ROM, HBOOT 1.09. For several reasons I decided to bring back the stock HTC ROM. So I followed the instructions: flashed stock recovery, locked bootloader (fastboot oem lock) and got "Tampered. Relocked". Then I tried to flash RUU_Ville_U_ICS_40_S_HTC_Europe_2.31.401.5 but came up against 131 error. I found out that my CID was wrong. So I changed it with mcOneSTools from T-MOB101 to SuperCID (11111111). I launched ROM installer again but I got new error - 152. For flashing chronology see attachment 1.
I suppose it has something to do with partition table. As a result I have black HTC screen with triangles around the corners. Hboot, fastboot and recovery not working. Second photo is the best you can gain from bootloader.
In spite of this, I can boot OS with fastboot oem boot command. But as soon as I reboot the phone, I'll be stuck at black screen again. And fastboot refuses to flash any zip or img file so I can neither reflash Hboot or Superuser(Root). Here's commandline log:

What are you saying? You want to flash TWRP or that you did flash TWRP and by doing so you went from S-Off to S-On?

You are curently on ICS so you must use an older version of TWRP. The more recent, up to date, versions of TWRP for our devices are based on the more recent kernels. Each OS, the kernel is different in many ways. If you wish to use a newer version of TWRP then I would highly recommend updating your OS to JB.

I have tried the TWRP to update.
and after that the device was was s on ...
and now i will get s off again but it want works
so i need another kernel and then i can go s off again?
btw:
i have android 4.2.2
can you help me with this problem?
I would like to re-s off
As long as you are on ics hboot, facepalm should work.
I have again installed ics and will test it ...
there are still away for another?

You can also try moonshine or rumrunner.
What guide did you follow for facepalm?
hi
the first thing I've tried the moonshine ....
after 10 try came the message that it does not go ...
then I facepalm tried with the message from above
You don't answer my question!
What guide did you follow and describe the steps you have done.
sorry
i think i idid....
[S-Off]Facepalm S-Off for One SV
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39470025
that one.
now is the cell phone back to ics
What means "now"? Was it not on ICS as you have tried Facepalm?
at the first trial but not the last already
mean while i think it is the wrong ruu...
do you have a link für 4.0.4 .zip?
there is still hope for me and my cell phone?
Facepalm only works on ICS & ICS hboot.
If i'm honest, i don't understand whats the state of your phone at the moment, and what you are trying to reach for.
I try my phone again in s off state to set.
hmmm see just in the software information that is the android version 4.1.2.
I can of this state from my cell phone in s off putting?
or in other words
what should I do so I get s off with this software and hboot combination.
Ok, you should be able to flash this RUU, with your hboot.
Then try facepalm again and be sure to follow all steps again.
Or do the official update to 4.1.2 and use moonshine.io.
Or do again the official update to 4.2.2 and use rumrunner.us.
Every method is confirmed working on the Software number i have written. So it belongs to your setup and if you do all steps correct.
i try to give my best!
thank you
