Hey guys i have a Big Problem ...
I wanted to Flash my Arc S but Fastboot doesn't recognize it Properly. Every time when i wanna Connect my Device in Fastboot mode , flashtool recognizes it as Flashmode. Flash mode works perfect... I reinstalled all the drivers and tried 2 different versions of Flashtool but it just dont work. Can someone Help me out ? I use a Windows XP Notebook because i have to wait a month to buy a new machine.

Hello ... my story a little problem ... I unlock the bootloader , install a custom- karnel , root and all perfect ! 15.3.A.1.14 received the update , the download and install flashtool wanted to try to solve few hiccups ... the problem was when connected to the pc in Flashmode only the green LED is lit for a few seconds, turn off and nothing happened , from that moment on, try conecterlo the wall charger and the same thing happens and green LED turns off, the pc Coneto and achieve to recognize it as a USB input device while another device as defined by the HID compliant provider ( as 2 different devices ) and if I connect and I hold the keys precionado volume up and down is connected as Qualcomm HS- USB QDLoader 9008, pass 30 seconds and reconnect as the 2 devices ... it is clear that attempts to repair the software with Sony PC Companion and Update Service but enters as Flashmode I could not do it , I can not connect in fastboot mode .. try to be as clear as possible thank you very much beforehand ! hope can help me . sorry for my English , I'm Argentinian

try restoring nandroid backup from cwm if you have created one.

Did you try to connect it to another PC? Because from what I can understand, it's a driver problem.
Today I also unlocked my bootloader to try Kit-Kat and I had a massive problem with drivers. Thankfully I solved it by installing the universal driver pack by Doomlord.

in another, no. but if I made a partition and install windows 7. because when I had that the above operating Sintema and now I have windows 8.1. equally before attempting this update had istalado istalar Sony PC Companion with all drivers

Alright.... not a noob here....got a problem and pretty frustrating one.....
I have never been in such condition so i dont know what to do...please guys help me...
Alright....I reinstalled my windows os to have the pc fresh... hence uninstalling all Android drivers......
but suddenly before i could install adb drivers which requires conecting device in debug mode........my Xperia J bricked ..I was using seraphic 7...for a couple of months...
its stuck on bootloop... flashtool does not recognize any device connected ..tried installing pc companion too... but it didn't recognized my JLO too....
i also installed all drives with the flashtool including XJ..... but still same
in my opinion its adb drivers problem ......it is not recognizing my device in either in FLASHMODE or FASTBOOTMODE.....
This situation sucks guys... help me here... i'm having a real bad time :crying::crying::crying:..... i will appreciate..with a thumbs up...:good::good::good:
In device manager on PC does your phone show up? If it does, search how to install ADB, and if you're on Windows 8 + you have to disable driver signature verification before installing drivers.

I have some problem i cant open my phone When working with global rom installation FlashTool , flashtool is said me turn off phone and connect fastboot mode. and im turn off try to connect fastboot mode but didnt work fastboot and im try to hard reset but now i cant open my phone led is doesnt work dont connect pc and hard reset it is not working .

Try repairing firmware via PC companion. It might help you.

I have a sony xpera L. It is stuck in a bootloop and i dont have CWM or TWRP. My device doesn't have a recovery mode. I already tried to fix this with Odin or flashtool but my PC doesn't recognize my device. When i try to connect my device to my PC i still hear the sound that it connects. My device isrooted
any solutions?
Are you able to enter the Bootloader/Fastboot?
I am able to start my phone in fastboot, my phone will show a blue light

PC doesn't recognise - Clearly means you don't have driverw for your phone installed.. A simple google search will lead u to them..
I cant install a new driver, my pc is pretty useless now since my phone cant conect to my pc.

Maybe install Ubuntu or another Linux and try again. Had the same Problem with Win8 and HTC of a friend.
Thanks for helping, i fixed my phone by flashing the stock rom. I used Wmshua for flashing. Its easy to use.

I'd like to flash a firmware on my Z3, however, my PC (?) or more precisely FlashTool doesn't recognize my phone. For now, I don't really know what to do, I installed Sony PC Companion thinking that this could help, like I said, I installed the drivers with the Flashtool drivers exec, but when I plug my phone and click on Flash Device, there is no device found.
