Sitting at 4.2.2 now, and would like to get to 4.3 (but not 4.4) so that I can retain the "App Permissions" access. Rooting is not an option due to it being a company phone. Any way for this to happen?
None. 4.3 wasn't released on this phone

Updates fail on my Galaxy Tab after root. Are there any settings that will make a difference or is there a way to grab the update and manually install it?

it depends, are you still using stock rom on it?
and are the failures of OTA updates?
What updates????????
hi i just updated my transformer to Jelly Bean from the official OTA of asus but i have random reboots and the whole system is slower and i dont like the way that my device works after the update so there is any option to downgrade without root to official ICS ?
if there is nothing to do can i just install rom or this option is blocked too ?
Sounds like an isolated issue, mine runs way better on jb. Pretty sure you can't downgrade

Haven't used my xoom for a while now. I had it rooted with a ics rom. It wad really buggy so I flashed back to out of the box stock. Updates showed up to being me up too honeycomb but after being connected to wifi for a day still have not had the ota for ics show up. Is there a way to force the ota update? Or do I still just have to wait. I don't plan on rooting it again unless I have to so I can get the update.

I have had a number of Xooms and when I set them back to stock and non root using the guide on XDA they have continued to upgrade through each version right up to the current JB, one after the other. It has never failed.
Is there anyway of running skygo on my tablet? Is there a hacked version some place? Please help I am so disappointed with this tab at present. Thank you and a happy new year.
If you are disappointed in the tablet simply because you cannot run skygo then you got the tablet for the wrong reason. And the skygo incompatibility is with 4.1.1 jb and not the tablet itself. Either get sky to get off their arses and update their app, or downgrade your tablet back to a sluggish ics.

If one uses the TRIANGLE AWAY app to roll back the flash counter and return the Tab2 status to NORMAL, is it possible to use the Samsung Jelly Bean 4.1.1 OFFICIAL upgrade onto a ROOTED Tab2 and preserve user data?
Part 2 of the question is: Is there anyone who can report having done this successfully saving his data, and not bricking the device?
T!A
No. Flashing official will wipe everything.
