after i bought moto g i had to give up on a feature i was used to, phone vibrating on call connect, really useful, not having the phone on the ear until the call is really connected and keeping out the high radiation coming in the connection time (known peek time for radiation)
i had to give up on it because i choose to not root this phone, actually ive been able to do all the stuff i was used to with my last rooted phone, but the vibrate on call connect feature
ive discovered a really easy way to do it, as stated on this app page https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.robin.huangwei.vibrate250
the following instructions are for this vibrate call app but you can use for any other app that have this feature just recovering the app name on the adb shell command, if you for instance want to use the exdialer vibrate plugin just put com.modoohut.dialer.plugin.connectvibrate instead com.robin.huangwei.vibrate250
hope this would be helpful
1. On your phone go to settings->developer options->toggle on USB debugging. If you cannot even find the developer options in settings menu, you should go to settings->about phone->scroll to the last item "build number" and click on it for more than 10 times and then the hidden item of developer options will be shown.
2. Install the driver of your Android phone, and go to http://dl.google.com/android/android-sdk_r22.2.1-windows.zip to download the Android SDK tools, and extract it on your PC
3. Connect your phone with your PC with USB cable, you might see a dialog asking for confirmation to enable debugging this phone with the PC, select YES
4. On your PC, open a terminal command line shell, like cmd or powershell, execute "adb devices" you can see the connected device listed there.
5. If all of above are OK, just execute the command line below:
adb shell "pm grant com.robin.huangwei.vibrate250 android.permission.READ_LOGS"
We all know that cell phone radiation is very strong when ringing, Vibrate Call makes your phone vibrate when an out-going call is answered or hung up, so you don't need to listen to it before the call get answered. Less radiation, more healthy. And you can set how long it vibrates. This application is tiny, saving your resource and battery!
Thank you. This works! Although i had to jump through some hoops to get adb installed, the app is working now
u r welcome, here the 15 sec adb install http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
oh boy, you're trying to get this just to avoid a radio wave exposure??? That peak that you're talking about is lasts only a fraction of a second, until a rtg subscriber status is acquired. Also that spike will never go above the SAR rating of the device.....
Also these waves are not proven to be harmful, the most you may get is slight slight temperature rise of the tissue around your ear, where you hold the phone.
You'll be better of to stay 1hr less near your computer in an year, than trying to avoid something that you ain't even sure, that it's harmful.
I got this message
I got following warning massage when I entered your suggested command

hello... Many thanks... I tryed several solution to disable the vibrator on call connexion in my gionee s5.5 (kitkat 4.4) ... with no success... The only one tool which solved this issue is VIBRAFIX. Great...
Just a heads up,this method is also working for Exdialer on a Huawei p10 Nougat device.
It works perfectly as intended!! Thanks!

Hello!
Today both the screen as the touch panel of my Galaxy Nexus broke. I wanted to run screencast or some other apps to control my phone via pc BUT after searching for "adb devices" I got my devices number and the word "offline".
I looked up on what I guess the issue was and what I found out was, that I have to verify my pc with this RSA-fingerprint in order to control my device, which I have not done yet on my latest rom, as I just flashed it a few days ago.
Now: can you think of any way, either bypassing the fingerprint or letting me control the device via pc to prompt the fingerprint-request?!
As mentioned, I THINK that is the problem.
Things I have tried:
different USB-port
different USB-cable
updating platform-tools
HDMI-output via MHL-adapter (no signal)
I really am hopeless and happy about all the ways, you could think of showing my phones screen on my pc. I would prefer to keep my current ROM data, as I do not want to wipe arrived messages before viewing them (WhatsApp).
some information:
device: Galaxy Nexus (GSM)
rom: latest AOKP Milestone (4.2.2)
root access of course
device definetly turned on (LED blinking)

Resolved!
I had a similar problem and after hours of research and trial/error, I was able to get this working. Here's how:
1. Download & install the Galaxy Nexus Toolkit and MyPhoneExplorer to your PC
2. Goto the Google Play Store on your PC and remote install MyPhoneExplorer and AF Rescue 2 apps to your phone. Wait 10 minutes or more so that this step has time to complete before continuing (longer is better)
3. Next you have to boot your phone into Recovery mode... pull the battery and usb cable out (so you can be sure your device is off). Put the battery back in, plug in the usb cable (I do this now so I can hear when the device is connected and later so you can hear that the command/reboots are working). hold down both vol up and vol down AND then hold down the power button... I do this for about 10 seconds. After releasing the buttons, your phone should be in bootloader mode, but I give it a minute just in case. now hit the vol up button 2 times then the power button. You will hear the usb connection go on and off several times and when it's done, your device will be in Recovery mode.
4. Launch the Toolkit, answer "no" to the initial question about checking for updates, then choose your device from the list
5. on the next screen (main menu) you should see your device ID listed under ADB mode list with the word "recovery" after it. If so, you have done everything correct so far. (if not, close the toolkit window, go back to step 3 and try again).
6. Next choose option 2 for Backup/Restore. Then select option 3 for "Backup your Internal Storage"
7. This is crucial. On the next screen choose option 2 "manually answer the question". Then when it asks if you are using a custom rom or recovery image, ANSWER "NO" (even if you are). This is the most important step in the whole process because it will then boot your phone into fastboot for you and install an insecure recovery image bypassing the 4.2.2 security!
8. When it tells you that the backup will take a long time and are you sure you want to continue, I recommend doing so. It will take hours (I left mine to run overnight.) Either way, when you get back to the main menu DO NOT REBOOT YOUR PHONE. YOU NEED IT IN THIS STATE.
9. Now if all has worked properly, you can launch MyPhoneExplorer on your PC and choose setup your connection via wifi. Cross your fingers, but if all worked as it did for me, your phone will appear on the screen (if it is all black, just hit the power button on your phone to wake it up). Use your mouse to enter your lock pattern or pin number if you have those set. At this point you should be using your phone through your PC. Just remember that as soon as you reboot the phone, it will revert back to it's secure state and you will have to go through this process again. I hope this helps you and others (and saves everyone the hours of frustration and research I went through).

Thank you very much for your time and effort, I will try this soon!
Sadly I am in the same position as the OP. My screen is cracked and I need to access the phone via adb, unfortunately, it is appearing as offline. Does anyone know a way to bypass this RSA-fingerprint issue?
As many of you may know, there's currently no native way to screenshot an Android Wear device, and at this point it's pretty cumbersome to need to get to a computer to run ADB just to get a screenshot.
I've managed to at least remove the need for a computer, as long as your phone (or whatever your watch is paired with) is rooted (your watch does NOT need to be rooted), through a simple script I threw together, wearcap. It properly loop-back connects to your device and then connects to the watch over ADB. I'm sure this can be made into an actual app, but I don't care enough or have the time to do it. All you need to do is run it as root with whatever terminal app you desire. Wearcap assumes you've done all the necessary USB debugging settings, which can be found below. Screenshots are saved in /sdcard/Pictures/Screenshots/ on your device and then removed from the watch.
Everything else is pretty self-explanatory, just push the script onto your device, give it executable permissions and be on your way. As noted in the script itself, make sure your screen is on during the connection process, my Moto 360 would typically fail to connect if it was off.
For a reminder of how to setup USB debugging for the devices: http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/0...nlock-the-bootloader-and-root-the-lg-g-watch/

Sorry about that, it's been attached as a text file now.
an apk will be wonderful
I can wrap it into app tomorrow if CEnnis91 is OK with it, I'm thinking to add change of the density as well through adb.
the Kyocera-E4710 is probably the best flip phone on the market. It's made in Japan and sold in the U.S. and Canada via a few carriers. But many people from other nations purchase it for it's rugged features that make it usable where a smartphone just can't be used. Unfortunately, some of the features, like tethering, won't work because, although it's been unlocked, it still needs the settings for the carrier (like AT&T).
I don't understand how this works but I'm sure someone on here does? I'm hoping some bright person on XDA can help the many people who have purchased this awesome handset in other nations, to be able to unlock the tethering feature. As well as to perhaps remove some features, such as the incredibly annoying AT&T address book that pops up every time you go to your contacts or add apps to the android operating system.
Any help with these issues would be so greatly appreciated!!
Kyocera-E4710 - T-Mobile Tethering
I too have purchased one of these excellent flip phones. I really want to be able to tether using T-Mobile's service. Has anyone risen to the challenge yet?

Rooting Kyocera E4710
Is it possible to root this phone? I would like to install an Android SIP client, the operator said it's not possible to install anything on it. Even though I enabled apps from Unknown Sources.

Not sure if anyone still needs to remove the AT&T address book on this phone without root BUT I managed to do it.
Enable Developer mode on the phone by clicking:
"Menu" from the home screen. Choose Settings-->System-->About Phone.
Scroll down to "Build Number" and hit the "ok" button a few times until it tells you that you're a developer.
Back up one menu and go into "Developer Options".
Enable USB Debugging. (I also enabled OEM Unlocking but I don't think this is necessary)
Next install the Universal ADB drivers onto your computer. Google will help you find them. (I used the ones from clockworkmod but I'm sure any of them would be fine.)
Connect your phone and ALLOW any of the prompts that come up.
Open up an administrative command prompt/terminal and then type "adb devices". Make sure you can see a device listed. I'll look something like:
* daemon started successfully *
6689467283 device
Next run the command:
adb uninstall --user 0 com.borqs.aabsync
You should see a "success" below.
If so run the command: adb reboot
Your phone will reboot and you can disconnect the phone from the computer at this point.
Give it a moment to start up and then hit the "down" arrow on the keypad as normal. You will likely see an empty contact list. Press the key for "Options" then choose "Contacts to display" and choose wherever you have the contacts saved. Let it load them in and you're done.
Hope this helps someone!

Thanks for posting your solution above.
Unfortunately for me I got as far as installing the adb drivers on my PC, reconnecting the phone, and no prompts came up, neither on the phone nor the PC.
I opened a command prompt window and typed "adb devices" and got the following message:
adb devices is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
Any suggestions?
As long as ADB driver isn't made system-wide accessible ( i.e. got added to PATH environment variable of Windows OS ) you get the message mentioned.
My Kyocera E4710 outer screen has an alarm that I can't get to go away. I can't see who is calling me because the alarm blocks the caller info. I have a few alarms but they are all turned off and there is not a way to delete them. I've gone through the user manual and it doesn't show how to get rid of this alarm (which shouldn't show since there isn't one enabled). Does anyone know how to get rid of this alarm on the outer screen? Thanks.
Hello, I just broke the screen of my OnePlus8t Verizon network unlocked phone. The computer I previously linked 8t with also has a broken screen. ... Rains it ..... My Phoe has some important information in docs and screenshots I need to get. I just turned off ADB debugging thinking "Oh I don't need that just yet" the very morning I broke the LCD. Good news, I can still answer it. I already have adb.exe except in ADB shell it shows as unauthorized. I need those files like yesterday. I have an otg/ADB flash drive, but I still can not connect to retrieve files. I can see my phone when I directly connect to comp without the flash drive, however, I can not access it. I have tried to put the phone into recovery, but I have no way to enter the pin as I have tried to guess where it is. How can I receive the data I need from my phone?
Thank You.
P.S. I have little knowledge and only learn what I need to know for whatever project, in other words, I can not code and I barely speak dos.
Is the touch screen still working then?
If it's showing "unauthorized" you can try to plug it into your desktop and then hit the "authorize" button on the popup that you can't see.
Here is where ok is on a different phone. It's somewhere near there on yours.

I have tried that. The finger print unlock screen only works ⅔ of the time. I have no way of knowing if it's unlocked. I keep my touch sounds silent. I keep trying to find where it might be. I have tried to slide as if answering a call. Is there a way to force the USB settings for media transfer? Maybe through Google? If any platform knows it's my phone is Google. I can go to the play store and push apps onto it. Unfortunately the two adb drivers I have installed on my Android didnt work.
Oh, actually, you've got it easier! The OnePlus 8t supports HDMI over USB Type C.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/does-one-plus-8t-have-video-out-through-usb-c.4465629/
Buy an adapter and hook up an HDMI monitor/TV.
Or just use a new monitor on the computer that is already authorized.
Is there any other way. Right now it is not with in the budget to afford any extras even with the price tag of $20. I am hoping there is a way within an adb shell to force turn on the adb debugging. I have developer options enabled. I would just rewrite the documents, except some of those items I need include the text messaging history. If I can't force the adb, can I remotely back up the phone? Is there a trustworthy app for that? I do have quick settings installed and if my memory is correct, I believe I have sideline installed even.
Hi to all,
how are you?
It's still a very long time i don't wirte here.
So i was a happy owner of a oneplus 6 from may 2019. I haven't problem and all works so well.
During a trip with fog and rain, the phone was wet and full of humidity, i had to use it during the rain 2 times to find the way to come back. When i was in home the display never respond. I tried to dry with a hairdryer but i won't go. In the meantime i buyeg a motog22 waiting to adjust my oneplus.
I'm using the original oneplus os, with last updates of august
So i remember i enabled the developers mode on my phone and i hoped also usb debugging and otg was enabled to cast the screen with this: https://plugable.com/products/uga-4khdmi (there are also the displaylink driver that tart at trhe phone startup), but i won't activate, don't no why.
Then i decided to try via adb to unblock wifi and other thing and make it usable with otg or thing like this: https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy
When i started abd i got this:
D:\myfolder\platform-tools>adb devices
List of devices attached
phonenumber unauthorized
I read some xda and stackoverflow posts but can't find a solution.
To authorize it i tried to delete adbkey inside .adroid folder, kill and start server but nothign working also cause the phone want an authorization that i can't give cause i can't see my display even if the display vibration is working and maybe also the touch.
Then i tried this:
adb reboot recovery
error: device unauthorized.
This adb server's $ADB_VENDOR_KEYS is not set
Try 'adb kill-server' if that seems wrong.
Otherwise check for a confirmation dialog on your device.
So i tried to restart the phone in boot recovery trying to see if the authoriaztion is enabled by default, but nothing happen.
I just wanted to push the keys to my phone and then using adb to reactivte wifi and something else almost to cast my phone or make a backup of some application (like google auth or microsoft auth...)
Are there an extreme solution or i have to wait the display and change it? I know this is the best solution but without this phone i have some activities...bloked It's incredible!
Thnks in advance for you help!
Bye
