does it cid 2 supercid too? becausei think its not that dangerous to use the real bootloader the mobile comes with(in case of warranty)
As far as I know it only SIM-Unlocks the device, it doesn't overwrite the bootloader or anything.

I need to unlock my moto g bought in telcel (Mexico), the service I paid for the unlock told me that my code hasn't found. I've read in many forums that lotta ppl unlock their telcel phones successfully, so I dunno what's the problem with mine, is it possible that some imei series aren't unlockable or something like that? Is there any other method to unlock as a toolbox or whatever? Is just that I have to wait for Motorola release new codes? Should I try in other unlock online service? Any help, comment, suggestion is welcome.
Thanks in advance.

To be able to root your device you first need to unlock your bootloader.
This will trigger something in the device making it always able for the technician to see that you unlocked your device.

My friend asks to Motorola and they said him if you unlock the bootloader, the warranty will be cancelled. But I don't know if it exists an alternative method.

You don't even have to unlock your boot loader to lose your warranty. You lose it when you ask for the unlock key!
The unlock keeps a fuse in this case. So if you relock they can see always that bl has been unlocked at least one time. I don't know about gpe version.

No. You can not root without unlock bootloader. Atm there is not exploit can do that on moto g. If you want root you must unlock bootloader for now.

Hai detto: "The unlock keeps a fuse in this case." Cosa vuol dire fuse???
If you live in europe, your warranty is not void. You are under european law and Motorola can say whatever they want.

Yeah, but it doesn't state anything about unlocking bootloader. It's mostly about changing ROM. Also, Motorola claims warranty is voided after getting bootloader unlock key, not installing in ex. AOKP.
In conclusion, there's no real solution for that warranty thingy. If they would deny repairing unlocked phone, we could only apply under EU customer rights. Therefore, I'd rather buy 100F phone again than wait half a year til' case is resolved.
But yes, THERE IS A GREAT CHANCE

The euorpean warranty isn't the Motorola warranty. I live in Belgium and i have 2 years of Motorola warranty for my moto g but too a european warranty. The european warranty is 2 years but after 6 month : " the seller can claim that the defect was caused by some action that was triggered by non-normal use of the device ". So you need a lawyer, after 6 month, for repair your phone. XD
Read it: "If your device becomes defective in the first 6 months, it is presumed that the defect was there all along, so you should not need to prove anything.
If your device becomes defective after the first 6 months, but before 2 years run out, you are still covered. The difference is only that if the defect arises now, the seller can claim that the defect was caused by some action that was triggered by non-normal use of the device4. But in order to avoid needing to repair or replace your device, the seller has to prove that your action caused5 the defect. It is generally recognised by courts that unless there is a sign of abuse of the device, the defect is there because the device was faulty from the beginning. That is just common sense, after all."

Thats exactly why can Motorola afford to say, that your warranty is void after unlocking bootloader.People will buy a new phone rather than protect their rights.

SORRY FOR A LOT OF ANSWERS...

You need to unlock the bootloader first to root your device. The device with unlocked bootloader would not be considered in warranty by Motorola. But there is this method to re-lock your bootloader. You will need Android SDK and Twrp to do that.

Hi.
I can't unlock my bootloader, since i can't get my bootloader unlock code.
I've tried it a lot of times and i'm sure that IMEI, Serial number and Product ID are correct.
I guess that the problem is because all i have as a modell number is "JAZZ".
My build number is MT7-C900B512
(I've had some previous experience with Huawei phones, and i guess that build number is missing a part, but thats all that is showing up, that's how i got this phone from my father)

Try to get your unlock code using HCU client. Its a paid service. It will cost you 4 euro.
Sometimes the unlock code with huawei database and one stored in your phone dows not match.
Hcu client will read code from your phone itself and it will surely work.
Tengo él mismo problema con mi JAZZ no lo puedo rootear y no consigo el código de desbloquear en la página de huawei ayuda o como puedo bajar el android que es 6.0 en mi equipo?
Given that the 8T already has this tool how much do I need to pay to get someone to make one for the 8 IN2017,. you would be helping hundreds of people and it can't be that hard given there's already an example for a different model to base it on... Or if someone knows how please tell me and I'll do it myself ... I've been waiting almost a year to get this phone unlocked. Would be pretty cool ....

HHello brother if you have been able to solve the problem. I have not been able to unlock the bootloader of my one plus 8 either
It's not impossible to do, devs just need to work together but it seems like they keep it a secret from us not knowing that we could help big time
mi I hope they can soon release a tool for years that we have not been able to unlock the bootloader or look for another way to unlock it. T-mobile is stressful
Mine's even worse I'm on Sprint lmao there was a guy that was doing T-Mobile unlocks up here not too long ago but it doesn't work on the Sprint version .. they really need to bring back an option to where I just want to get the phone for cheap and I'll sign a contract so that I can own my device
He was doing SIM unlocks not BL unlocks, and ig Sprint and T-Mobile has merged so it's the same unlocking procedure as T-Mobile.
No it isn't , I have a TMobile phone and TMobile sim card but however he was unlocking them my account is still a part of the Sprint side of the system and he can't access it :/ but yeah I know it's just network unlock but that's the only thing stopping us from being able to unlock our bootloaders
Well I can help enabling the OEM unlock with EDL if you can apply for an unlock token.
I was experimenting lately with some partitions and was able to enable the OEM unlock.
@LONDONBOY (meant to reply to you I suck at this app haha ) My phone isn't paid off but the unlock token comes from OnePlus not sprint right? PM me if you don't mind you would be my hero if you helped me enable OEM unlock
