Soo a few a days ago i found an android 4.4 rom for canvas HD. Its a mediatek device so i was just wondering when is Kitkat coming to canvas 2.
We have some exceptional Devs! So this is a shouout to them to make an android 4.4 rom! Or atleast just make some of us curious guys calm!

Ohh ! I cud only see a cyanogenmod 11 kitkat post! Since canvas 2 has never had cyanogenmod , i didnt take it seriously! Plus if you can send me the link of another thread related to this. Ill appreciate it.

the cyanogenmod is the kitkat work in progress for canvas 2....further the thread is below your post check it out

True yesterday i tried so many Roms but not happy and at last i flashed with http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2160609 what a rom super smooth no lag everything working fine. i just wanted to ask which kernel should i use with it ??

I've tried almost all roms for my micromax a110 but it wasn't upto the performance of stock ics rom. but i prefer u to try FUSION ROM by Akhilendra Gadde.its base is kitkat 4.4.4 ,modified to lollipop making it super fastn also battery backup is awesome.i've been using it for 4 months. the antutu benchmark comes closer to 12000. the link to the rom is http://forum.xda-developers.com/micromax-a110/development/rom-fusion-rom-lollipop-edition-t3024419 hope u try it out

Guys i am Badmashchamp , made a perfect Rom for our beloved device samsung s4 (i9500). I will upload it soon. This Rom gonna be a best custom Rom made for s4 ever.
So plz guys keep supporting me. As i told u i think this Rom is bugfree.
And i am using this Rom since 2 months. And seriously i can't see any bug into this.

I would like to ask for master at here for helping me porting/building custom ROM for our XL
I want to port/build a manufactured ROM such
-touchwiz ROM
-iOS 8 ROM
-wp8 ROM
It is possible to port all of these rom?
Hope master can help newbie at here
And one more thing,when I want to port a custom ROM,I follow the instruction to change set_perm from port to base but all ROM that work for our XL is set_metadata
So it is the same thing?

Direct porting from other manufacturers like Apple and Microsoft is not possible. You can theme default apps to look like iOS or Windows etc. Set_perms was used earlier for 4.4 and below. For lollipop you need set_metadata. There are various guides on xda about porting ROMs you can refer it. Search on xda.

Is so crazy to port an existing rom like resurrection remix for Samsung Galaxy s5 to Galaxy s5 neo?
And I guess, if that would be possible to do, a noob like me....can't never do that isn't it?
Or maybe there are tutorials or how to somewhere? One day I saw at resurrection remix rom forum there where some posts explaining how to build a resurrection remix rom by yourself but now I can't find it...
Some one can tell me something about that??

Hi Micromites , I saw many people looking here and there looking for custom ROM for this device and end up with??? . oh god ! Why I bought this phone it's still on KitKat while others are running lollipop and marshmallow even Android 'N' is gonna release soon , I hate the new name so just 'N'.
Gud news for such people , at least this phone is not a bad phone at all...... What ??? Really......!!!
